My memory may be incorrect but:

Robic was a mystery. He was kinda demoted when he went from a true coach to analyst, correct? He could have no direct contact with players?

Additionally, Robic also was watching his daughter’s health condition deteriorate until she died in his final year at UK. .

Justifiably, and maybe he was not overly concerned with his job during his personal life meltdown.

I feel awful for that guy who gave so much. Princess didn’t hold up a picture of him during Senior Day.

Someone did a national “foot traffic recovery” study?

Jesus H.

The determination of downtowns has been a pretty common story the past few years. Guess you missed it because you’re too up your own *** jogging.

I had heard the alcoholism as well. I thought he welcomed the “demotion” to off the court assistant, solely responsible for game planning and scouting. He could prob do that in his sleep.

It was the dismissal from that role which was strange to me.

I think the booze stuff had gotten pretty bad from several different people around the program. I'm not sure that's one you can put on Cal.

I went with my 93 year old (at the time)gma to some doctor appts. One visit the doctor said, “we found a cancerous spot on your liver again(it was the third time). We can start chemo asap or give you a mild steroid(I think) that just attenuates it’s growth.”

My gma looked at him like he had two heads and says, “chemo? FOR WHAT? I’m 93 and you think I’m going to do chemo? Have you lost your mind?” 😂 she was awesome and always said whatever she thought to anyone.

She lived by herself and drove just fine til she died in December 3 years ago at 97. Still miss that lady, best woman I ever met and one of my best friends ever.

Prayers for you and yours cutitloose.

How has no one memorialized ol' Bob for his "GOOD JOB GREAT EFFORT" bit? That was my favorite Knight moment because even Brent Musburger couldn't figure out how to un-curmudgeon the announcing the rest of the game.

If they don't bury him facedown, that will be tragic. I also kind of thought he was already dead.

My call for positive vibes only in re: the men’s basketball program hasn’t caught on like I had hoped.

Just wait until we see Toots on the socials in a week and a half posting pics of her Christmas shopping on Michigan Ave right before we get blown out by Kansas. Afterwards Cal gets snarky about not having any timelines for the big men returning.

Then it’ll hit all of us that basketball season is here. Kentucky Basketball in the 2020’s…Enjoy the redassery.

In case anyone is wondering, Bob Knight's death makes me sad moreso because 'oh man, another guy I grew up with died' vs 'he was so important to the game a real conflicted soul here's my 5000 word relection on his life'

My mortality is slowly hitting home, I guess.

Crum, Joe B, now RMK.

Who's next? Roy Williams? FFS.

I’ll be busy rewatching Joe Burrow clips. The misery for me won’t really hit until after the New Year.

-Rewatched a clip of Knight returning to Assembly Hall and that’s now a tear jerker. I hated the man growing up, and began to respect him at some point as I got older.

Whatever.

- Tonight is not going to go well for Levis so please don’t come in here and start with the BS nonsense.

TJ Watt and Alex Highsmith are going to have a field day against the Titans left and right tackles. Apparently Pittsburgh is the worst defense for giving up the deep ball so maybe he can flash a few deep throws but he has to have time!

- Happy to see the Rangers win but that series was boring.

- Almost to Thanksgiving, and this is absolutely another year that just flew by.

What’s worse? The self-important person who pulls up directly in front of the UPS store to bring their packages in instead of parking in a parking spot like normal people

OR

the middle-age woman at the grocery store, who cuts the entire line that’s formed when a new register opens up? (Cutting in front of a pregnant woman with 3 small kids, mind you)

Listen, that Ashland Plaza parking lot absolutely blows so while I don't do it I don't begrudge anyone who pulls in front of that UPS.

I love doing the hopeless looking guilt-trip stare when I have like 3 items in my hand and the person in front is beginning to load their $200 haul onto the belt.

Typically works at Aldi.
I like to get in the express line behind someone who obviously has a few more than the maximum 10 items, and I start to do like a silent exaggerated look through where i'm counting each of their items and then I just look directly at the person.

-The person that parks in the fire lane or in no spot like they’re important or at least more than the rest of us.

-“this year flew by” says the guy that didn’t get sued multiple times by his family, had dementia dad move in with him for 9 months, paid rent and mortgage for 3 months because couldn’t leave due to lawsuits, etc.

Longest. Year. Ever. But it’s peaches and cream now 😎.

Women is the right answer, IMO.

I agree their spots are very small. But when someone parks at the front door, other cars have a really hard time pulling into or backing out of the spots they are in front of. Not to mention the traffic jam it causes.

As for the grocery today, I let a man with a 6 pack of beer and a pack of those delicious brown butter chocolate chip cookies in front of me.

The lady who cut had a decent sized basket and cut in front of the following:
- an older man with about 5 items
- the man with beer and cookies
- me with a full cart
- the pregnant lady (in heels) with about 1/4 of a cart full and 3 kids
- another lady with one item

I would say she didn’t realize what she was doing, but she had JUST tried to walk past all of us to get in the line with the light off and a sign at the end saying “next lane please” so she knew we had all been standing there before her.

ANYWAYS, just use some freaking common sense and be courteous.

At the grocery store, the new line that opens up is a survival of the fittest event. It's on you to monitor that situation and adjust accordingly.

-people who don't return carts are the worst grocery store criminals. Subhuman.

-unless I have 1-3 items I'm avoiding self-checkout... if I wanted to work at Kroger, I would. My Kroger's machine is always goofy anyway.

-unlike @Geese Feeder , I often pick up clicklist items that my wife ordered. You used to call when u got there... now they want you to scan a qr code and check in via their app.

^this makes me irrationally furious. **** you, Kroger... I don't want to download your **** onto my phone. I'll holler at an employee or call the service desk, thanks.

-between self checkout/this sort of **** places are asking you to *work* for them while they spam the **** out of you/harvest data... it's garbage.

That’s why they call it the Hunger Games.

Because you’re at the grocery store. You’re hungry. And there are teens and murder.

Thanks for confirming you are an *******, @WayneDougan.

I bet you're the type of person who when the interstate converges into a single lane gets over immediately rather than holding off until the very end, thereby putting the needs of faceless strangers ahead of the people you love. I could never do that to my family.
