Hoping for the upset tomorrow but just don’t see it. Alabama isn’t as strong as they’ve been the last decade but still think they have too much for us. Their qb has made considerable progress the last few games.

Baylor played John Brown (D1) last night. Who, btw, covered the -55 point spread rather easily.
Those of us versed in the teachings of Deadwood are familiar with their effectiveness at disposing of bodies.
It would take our newfound offensive confidence coupled with the defense of games 1-5 to keep it close. Don't see that happening but would gladly eat crow.

Stoked for all the new Yellowstone coming out next year for sure.
-Nothing like a morning dog walk to the beach and just sitting on a bench with the pupper for a half hour.
Even better when there’s an old black man in a fedora and white linen pants and shirt combo playing Otis Redding on a speaker the next bench over.
Apparently he’s there all the time because every person running by knew him and said hello.
-Pretty sweet I can’t watch the game again tonight but SMU and North Texas is on ESPN 2

The nearest star is 4 light years away. The fastest we've ever gone in space (unmanned) is 0.02% the speed of light. So right there it would take 5000 years to get there with that speed. But let's say we could get to to 10% of light speed... that's still 40 years.
The scary thing I think Hank is referring to is that we could - and perhaps are - getting so technically advanced that if your society can figure out how to build a space ship that goes that fast, your society also probably figured out how to quickly and easily destroy yourself. For example, with advanced AI, could pretty much anybody figure out how to destroy life on this planet?

Yes the uniforms are gray, but at least we have that great new logo that we bought at the estate sale for the Sioux City Thrashers
I agree in regards to our civilization and technology, but that’s assuming aliens face the same biological challenges we do and they have the same materials and tech that we do, both of which are HIGHLY unlikely.
I think the gray on gray with blue helmets looks great.

I think the jerseys look good, better than the anthracite imo. I’m ok with our alternates being black and grey.
FYI, there are literally thousands of tickets for the UK-UL game left, many $50. Found Lowers for $83, grabbed 4, leggo.
Last night they were on ESPN in primetime, have a top 11, possible conference championship and playoff contending team.
Welp, they had about 25,000 at the game, maybe 30,000. Saw several pics today from fans that showed the entire upper bowl 95% empty.
They don’t deserve the team that they have. The portal was great to them.
Hopefully blue gets in, and we show those fair weather linebeards, how to properly support a good football program, ala 2021.
We beat them in the pizza box when they last had a playoff contender, and that team with LJ was miles better than the current version. Plus, we are much improved since the 2017 season. I don’t think Stoops has lost to them since.
Should be a great game. Tomorrows jerseys would really look good against a UL team away, that will likely have white/red/red as their color combo. The blue, grey, grey would pop.
