Never been to a game, but Was out there this summer for no reason but Food/Drink/Fun, my thoughts:

-6th St is a **** show at night. I mean, Lol. It would be fun with the crew for a bit, but much better early evening, kinda like Nashville. Except it's basically like a gross homeless version of Nashville.

-Rainey St, however, is really cool & unique.

-Lots of cool cocktail/speakeasy bars downtown outside the 6th madness. Floppy Disk Repair Company is probably my favorite bar I've ever been to, and another one next door from same people that was nice/rooftop. Firehouse Lounge & Roosevelt Room are dope. And the mezzanine bar at the Driskill is a pure classic Hotel Bar.

Endless options for all tastes, and obviously a killer food city. All indications seem to be this will be one of the most traveled regular season UK Football games ever, excluding Nashville obviously. BBN seems fired up at a level above about anything but a Final 4. Could be early hype/talk I suppose given it's a year out, definitely a few "IM IN!!!" in our crew I'd place heavy wagers on not attending, but most of us basically pre-booked yesterday.

Should be a hoot! 🍻

F Bruiser… career moocher off someone else.
Blah. The problem is that Cal even has assistants talking to the media in the first place. It is frigging ridiculous the way he's weaseled his way out of basic expectations of a head coach at a major program.

If Congress gave a **** (NEWSFLASH -- THEY DON'T), all they have to do is make student loans dischargeable in bankruptcy and end the federal repayment guarantees. Higher education would change for the better overnight.

I honestly don’t give one **** what the floor looks like. I don’t think I’ve ever been watching a game and thought to myself “AW, that floor just doesn’t look good. I really wish they would do something different”. Same with the uniforms. The stuff that ruffles some peoples feathers is really mind bottling to me.

Well, playing 2 bigs together, forcing the ball inside, and taking long two's hasn't exactly set the world on fire at Kentucky for the last 6 years or so. In fact, it has yielded historically bad results.

I GET what BBdK is saying, and he definitely knows a lot more about basketball than me (no sarcasm at all), but Cal sure seems to have the magic touch now, when it comes to fvcking up a roster.

What BBdK is saying, is that I haven’t seen that & don’t expect to, NOT like you all describe it, or Oscar ball. And I’m not jumping off a cliff over a gd Buiser sound bite. I’m going to watch a few of our games first.

That’s literally it.

Yes, we will be integrating our Top 5 possible pick 7 footer, as we should. It will change things some, but the net benefit or detriment remains to be seen. Defense is our biggest issue, and there is zero chance call ABANDONS Our 4 lethal guards for some slow & relentless double post based offense.

I’m giving Cal zero credit, bc it’s what literally ANY coach would do if Aaron Bradshaw became eligible on their team. Not to mention, he & Mitchell both play outside more than in. Mitchell is a fantastic passer/playmaking big. They’ll get their post ops, but it’s not going to be THE OFFENSE - and they’re surrounded with weapons. Get real.

Bravo! You've been on point with every take all basketball season. Excellent work, boss! I don't even need to post anymore. You've got it all covered.

However, I do expect some terrible opening sequences when Bradshaw cracks the starting 5.

Even our current starting 5 only plays together again if it’s to up open the 2nd, which isn’t always. And it’s been generally poor all season.

Our starting lineup is the worst designed one we have, and it will probably get worse. But That’s a different topic altogether, expected, and obviously nothing new. 🙁

- That 97 Heisman 30for30 was a nice shot of nostalgia. Not sure where we’re going with college football but it’s not going to be better for fans.

- Every fanbase is awful, especially the big ones, but while never being a fan, I’d like to see a Nebraska football renaissance. I like Rhule. I like flagship universities with passionate followings. Plus, I’m tired of the Bama/Georgia/Ohio State stuff and long for anyone else.

- Always amazes me how many people make money in the wellness/empowerment/conference arena. More power to them I guess.

- Got a sneak peak of the new Brent Spence Bridge project today. Pretty great it’s finally happening.

It does seem there is money to be made in this area. I am thinking about infusing pure THC into a “health smoothie” and then selling it to white upper class moms as a cure-all for everything. I think I could make millions.

I’m not even talking about products. I’m talking about getting hundreds of people to pay hundreds of dollars to listen to “thought-leaders” with gradiose bios discuss a bunch of different intangible stuff.
