Texas better get to scoring because you can’t stop the Huskies. 42-35 is your best chance!

They score TDs and no FGs.

Those stats are ridiculous.

-Breezed through The Wager* in a few days, really good book, especially for being a true story.

Next up:
The River We Remember-Krueger
Lost City Of Z-Dunn

Still listening to on audible:
True Believer-Carr

*any book I finish that my mom didn’t get signed by the author are fair game and I will send to anyone, just fyi.

The GoodReads app is a pretty cool source for keeping track of you books, read/reading/want to read. I like it because when people ask me for recs I have trouble recalling all I’ve read that they may like.

-Heading to ONE of my spots here shortly with the dog, Black Crow Coffee. Will re as there for a couple hours then have an appointment to pick up some fresh greenery at Sunburn Cannabis.

They received their new years stuff last night so some fresh sativa waiting for me. I love the pre-ground flower, it’s so cheap 1/2 oz for $35 and I’m going to grind it up anyway so why not?

-53-63 today, going to be a beautiful day for some bike rides and walks

-Sports are just the best. What a weekend.

-Wolford is getting straight harassed on the socials. Karma, *****.

-Spent eleventy-thousand dollars on the kids Christmas and BY FAR their favorite toy is an $5 pack ******* rubber noodles they can smack each other with.

-Big fan of the Peerless Double Oak. Probably not worth 2x WFDO but I like the folks over at Peerless. Great tour and tasting.

-I know NYC fans loved IQ but I'm not sad about him getting away from that loser *** Franchise.

-We're nearly halfway through the 20s. That just sounds so weird.

Some '24 shitdohs

- Happy to new year to everyone. Rogue, happy 2nd life.

- Took the pups for a nice long walk yesterday. Got about 50 feet in front of wife and Big Head as we're rounding for our street. Here her screaming "help" and a panic I've never heard in her voice. Turn around and 2 dogs attacking her and my other pup. Run back, about to kick the f'ing snot out of one of them and they took off. Owner is across the street, calls them over and walks back in without a peep. Neighbor stops us and says his pups have been reported a few times and have attacked her and her dog. Just going to say, I'm getting Fl man thoughts. This dude is going to get his dog or someone else dog or kid f'd up and it's going to be 100% on him.

- Was surprised with Michigan. Didn't have the gas to stay up for the 2nd game. Guess go Huskies because I find Michigan fans to be quite awful.

- Getting a pool. Been doing my Chevy Chase impersonation at the bad window every morning.

- Pool in, Z out. Time to turn that over to someone that will take her out more. There have been more fatalities on I-95 around us this past year that I'm just not interested any longer. Had a blast and a couple close calls so time to fold 'em.

- Found a new rabbit hole to go down. John Reeves, Alaskan goldminer finding bones as old as 40k years on his land that are preserved exceptionally well below the perma-frost. He just did his second JRE. One of the museums has thousands of these bones and is refusing to give them back to him. So he's fighting to get his stuff back that was apparently a deal from the 40's while going out everyday and excavating possible answers to our past.

- @Ron Mehico talking about the drinking and the stress. **** has to change for me now. Covid nearly broke me. Haven't been honest with how much and grateful I have an amazing wife that keeps pulling me forward until I snap out of it.

- Wife got me this little stash box for christmas. Came with some jars. Felt like a little kid breaking out all my buds and organizing everything. JFC I am a pothead.

- Pup that got attacked has also been limping for a week. Vet tomorrow for him. Have a feeling it's going to be a pricey fix. Going to see if the vet can get him some robot legs.

- Absolutely wear out Anna's yacht rock. Still haven't given wodie's the fair shot I'm sure it deserves.

- That's all I got.

-did you call the police on dog guy? If a dog is off leash and attacks my dog/wife... I'd have hard time not killing it in real time. There are just some things that aren't acceptable in civilized society.

-did a complete kitchen reorganization/dump this weekend... *multiple* bottles of pomegranate vinegar(dafuq) among other things, oh well now it's in a state that we *should* be able to check before buying weird stuff for one off recipes. Liberating.

^started with joining Costco and buying Pyrex "tupperware" set. Getting rid of all the old(quality) plastic stuff...sending to primas apartment.

-recently purged worn out/unsavory cookwear and picked up a few skillets. want (not need) a couple new roasting/baking pans in smaller sizes. sur la table>>>> williams sonoma.

-Christmas has been disassembled...love it, but happy to get back to a "cleaner" feeling space.

-new ll bean "duck boots" on the way... can't beat a classic.

-firewood stocked this morning... gonna be a cold January.

-go cats...and huskies.

It probably would have played out much worse had they not took off before I got to them. I was fully intending on kicking one away and coming back around to kick the **** out of the other one. Full-throated screaming at them with another pup in tow I guess did the trick this time.

I really would like to avoid cops for this. The lady that stopped right after, who lives a couple doors down from him, said the other couple that reported his dog went to resolve with him first and he blew them off. Not sure what to do right now. Feel certain this will happen again with us or someone else.

The only thing I took away from the game yesterday is that Milroe was spending more time playing short stop than he was QB. I'm also a bit confused as to why everyone was wanting to give McLaughlin a huge leash on just how awful he was at snapping the ball in the shotgun. Sure, the timing/missed snaps were definitely a communication issue but dude was shooting them out low/off to the side 70% of his snaps.

Just unacceptabble.
