That is not accurate or true

I really hope you're right. Rumor with law enforcement going around is that there's a police report floating around with those two listed and one other male. And it's an ongoing investigation.

What have you been alluding to on Twitter then?

While no the kid probably shouldn't have been handcuffed... give me a god damned break with the ADHD is a traumatic disorder. That's not a f*cking excuse for your kid to act like an *******.
Yeah, I thought about that too. ADHD is a real thing, but it's not a disability. And you shouldn't want your kid to have a GD ******** "disability," but a ton of parents do. Let 'em step into my world, soft-*** MFers, I'll show them some ****.

I'm diagnosed 100% with ADHD and I can verify if a cop would've felt it necessary to handcuff me... that would have been the least of my worries. My parents wearing me out #1.

Regardless acting like it's a disability to that point is ridiculous. That's parenting.

People these days seem to want excuses more than to deal with a difficult solution.

ADHD is real, but I'd wager more cases than not are just ****** parenting, Imo. Give the kid a pill and make it better, oh wait he's still a little ******* that's now turbo jacked up. Better post about it on facebook.

anth having adhd is my 80-proof-was-going-to-nyu-until-he-met-anna-oggan.

here's how you get diagnosed with adhd:

1) schedule appointment
2) "I have trouble paying attention"
3) profit

but congrats. you're a real outlier.

^Exactly. Took meds for like a month and then never went back for a refill. Complete ********, which is why I just posted, "give me a god damn break with ADHD is a traumatic disorder."

I solved my issues with caffeine and to do lists. Not sure you can do that with a real disorder.

-mosquito light can be considered retro. Go for it.

-speaking of fibromyalgia. My unpopular opinion is that it is totally made up. I never once taught a boy with fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome but had a fair amount of girls that "suffered" from one of those.

Fibromyalgia is pretty much a diagnosis of exclusion. Like they can't figure out why you have pain. It's a psychosomatic disorder.

Yeah, because even though I'm OMGADHD I never got ****** with a cop at school and certainly never tried to punch and kick a cop. I knew the repercussions from my parents would've been legit as I'm sure you would've by your parents. Jesus, the thought of what would've happened if I tried to punch a cop. Shew.

Wouldn't have a problem my kid was kicking and punching at a police officer, in a school, if they had to put him in cuffs. TS. Enough with the pussies in this country wanting to be damn victims.

I mean this headline is ridiculous.

"Parents Sue Officer Who Handcuffed Mentally Disabled Kids"

Yeah, I'm the dumbass for blaming someone else for my kid acting out. Good luck with that bud. Glad you got it all figured out though.

Just so we're clear. If your kid tries to kick and punch a cop you're going to blister the cop, eh? Cool.

My 3rd grader?! A cop puts him in cuffs by his arms behind his back? Yes. And I'll discipline the kid later at home.

Ages 12+ is a completely different story.

I'm also assuming you won't sue the school alleging they abused your mentally disabled student. That's what really irks me in this story. It's offensive to ACTUALLY mentally disabled kids and it shows that these people are 100% trying to be victims rather than focusing on a system that has no better recourse to a disruptive student then hogtie tie them.

If the parents of that child had been videotaped tying the kid to a chair because the kid swung an elbow at the father, then that cop would show up at their house with child protective services to relieve them of custody of their child.
I've seen several stories where parents have cops come "handcuff" their kids and put them in the back of cop cars as a scare tactic.

But yeah, because we've had a handful of ******* cops get busted we all have to fall in line.

I don't believe Anth actually has/had ADHD. It's pretty clear he has no real concept of what it's like for someone who does, especially a young child. While many, many kids get an adhd diagnosis from some dipshit lazy family physician, there are also many adhd kids that struggle to function.

My guess is Anth saw Ronnie down at Urgent Care and got a script because he's scatter brained. Turns out that maybe Ronnie wasn't right based on his 3 minute exam. But, since he was technically diagnosed apparently Anth knows what it's like for 100% of the other people in the world.

Hand cuffing a GD 3rd grader is 100% unacceptable. Actually he cuffed his biceps together, not even his wrists, which makes it even worse. Pretty damn good chance that he just solidified a fear of the police for life in that kid's mind.

Like Cool Cat said, if a cop saw a parent doing this exact same thing they'd charge them or call social services at a minimum. I've seen people charged with this for less.

508.100 Criminal abuse in the first degree. (Punishable by 5-10 in the pen)

    3. (c) Causes torture, cruel confinement or cruel punishment;
to a person twelve (12) years of age or less, or who is physically helpless or mentally helpless.
