Going to the Armani store tomorrow to get this year's crop of tees. Really wish they had a husky section.

Edit: Yes I have an two Armani sport coats.

One thing the PGA Championship nails is the marquee/featured groups.

Spieth/Rory/Zach this morning (streaming on app)

DJ/Day/Fowler this afternoon.

It doesn't get any better than that.

I'm no fashionball of course, but I can't think of many things more desperate/awful than wearing LOOK AT ME ARMANI!!! T-Shirts.

That's pretty bad.

-Don't know whether it meets GYERO standards, but I've always had good luck with Cutter & Buck UK gear. Wearing my UK-PGA polo today as a matter of fact.

-Never thought I'd say it, but I'm hoping Tiger makes a comeback. #278 coming into the PGA?? That's unbelievable for a guy with his talent. I don't want to see him start dominating the tour again, but I would like to see him at least play the weekend and be in contention. As a golf fan, his plummet is more sad than gratifying.

-I know it's not a one-size-fits-all decision, but what drivers do you guys use? I need a new one and there are so many out there I'm not even sure where to start. I've always been a Taylor Made guy, so I'm unfamiliar with the other brands.

Yes. It's their casual line.

I own Georgio and Emperio stuff too, it's just not stuff you wear every day.

I use a Taylor Made RBZ Stage 2 (drivers have ridiculous names). Honestly, because technology is so advanced, but also the cap is limited by rule, most of the drivers are pretty much the same, as far as how far you'll hit it. Swing whatever head you can hit in the sweet spot most consistently, and get the right flex shaft for you. Just stick with a brand name and you'll be fine.

Also, I'd advise getting one that is a year or two old. They'll be half the price and be just as good.

I've developed a wardrobe of identical garments in different colors: 11 polos, 6 oxfords, 4 v-neck sweaters, 5 pairs of chinos, 18 pairs of socks (black, navy, brown). And I "reset" my ankle socks and undershirts when one pair (or shirt) goes bad - every six months or so. This gets my through 95% of what I need for the office.

If this sounds at all tempting to you, I'd highly recommend it.

I want to go all-in on one color scheme in multiples, but haven't pulled the trigger yet. I haven't yet attained a level of personal success for this to be considered "eccentric" and not a "hint of psychosis." But I'm working on it!

Tommy a baller lol.

Uniqlo is the ****.

I pretty much wear the same thing 95% of the time.

Simple Polo & khakis to work.
Polo & shorts in the summer.
Polo/Oxford in jeans in the winter.
Polo/Tshirt + Shorts/jeans to UK stuff.

'Fashion' is pretty damn overrated for the typical 30-something married working male. Most of the people who fancy themselves as fashionballs in GYERO look pretty ridiculous to me much of the time. Different strokes I guess.

PTI(pti) wins imo, and he wears the same few basic things pretty much all the time. Always looks good #nohomo, & never looks silly or like he's trying to impress anyone.

BASKETBALL TICKETS FOR SALES OMG!!!!

Anybody interested in splitting 2 season basketball tickets? He's not going to be able to make all the games and wants them to go to someone who is going to use them and not just sell them for a profit(games will be picked draft style when they arrive and he's not dead set on any particular game if you've got a must attend.) Sec 228 Row Z. Would rather get them to one of you then go the Ebay/Craigslist route.

Chumps you are not allowed because you wasted the Midnight Madness lowers I gave you that year. GYERO never forgets.

Anyone interested shoot me a message on here or post your email and I'll contact you.

Never thought of wardrobe in terms of a theme.

25 or so respectable dry cleaned oxfords (one trip to the cleaners a month)
half dozen or so go to polos for business casual
a dozen slacks
half dozen jeans and khakis
as many tshirts as will fit in the top drawer
ball shorts

I'm either dressed to meet a decision maker or it's shorts/tshirt time.

- PTI ragdolling you golfballs hasn't gotten enough play here.

- How can you not like Schulman? Geese geesing, I suppose.

- Have "females losing their everlovin' minds over sushi" died down a bit or is it just me?

- Been hankerin' for some Oakleys for purely active pursuits like running. If I was a golfball, I'd definitely have a pair. The pretenders don't come close.

Yeah, with in the last few years I pretty much stopped caring about it whereas 10 years ago it was a huge deal. Tremendous waste of money but my going out shirts we're on point. I still have my preferred styles but most of my shopping is done on ruelala or gilt and it's pretty rare.

Ursch absolutely cares and tries. Dude irons his clothes more than anyone I know and is absolutely a brand snob.

The worse those guys play, the older they get, and the further they are from competing, the MORE everyone digs in their heels and calls me a fool. Ironic.

You know, I could have set the over under on 6 or 8 or 10 majors and still have gotten as much play. At some point they'll concede. But it will be 10-15 years from now. Maybe.

Dunno if Sushi is no longer a thing......but my wife & her hen friends are cocked and loaded for pumpkin spice season. Maybe more so than me for football.

Just imagine how good Jordan Spieth would be if he could overpower a course and go on crazy Birdie runs like some of the more dominant players on Tour!!!

My work outfit consists of a Carhartt Henley (tall) and khaki shorts with either hiking boots or old, worn out tennis shoes. In about another month, jeans will start to substitute for shorts.

I don't venture too far off that path on weekends these days either. Just no benefit in sacrificing comfort for fashion at this point in my life.
