If the Tiger Woods era of domination was the most exciting time to watch golf, this year hasnt been too far behind. Day, Spieth, DJ, Fowler, Rory- and guys like Koepka who dont get nearly the attention they should yet... talent level is unreal.

Couldn't agree more. I suppose nothing can/ever will match the Tiger era, but I really did not think golf would ever be "the same" after that was done. It's damn close, I've enjoyed this year about as much as any year I can remember overall.

Golf is in great shape going forward with or without another Tiger run. Pretty unexpected really, and absolutely awesome.

[laughing] SAE. Lemme know if you score a 2-for-1 deal, I'll borry the other.

Solid Monday post by SAE.

-Been to negative around here, nice Anth is coming out this week. Nothing but good stuff going on right now in my life. Except sleep, but even that is getting better. *I will be continuing to make fun of Ursch over the cord cutting nonsense.

Apologize to everyone who I've been a dick to. Except PTI.

-UGA fans LOVE the UK roadie. Spoke with dozens of them about it. I think it's been their Alumni roadie for decades.

-Man the Southside facade of that stadium looks magnificent. Absolutely GEEKED.

Post-Weekend Shorts:

- You simply cannot cut cable if you're any kind of sports fan. It's impossible. And to do it weeks before CFB season? Get pumped up your butt. Seriously. Right up it.

- Lassie's mom was in town so SNACKDOWN this weekend for Big WCC. Sushi Friday night. Yard House Saturday night. D. Burnham's Sunday night- crab cake, filet and blueberry bread pudding.

- With the above said, Tommy's eating habits disgust me. He makes 2003 BBdK look like a health nut.

- Observation from a guy who loves him some Dateline:

Cops/detectives really like the solid-color shirt with a suit and tie look. You just don't see the maroon buttondown with tie look in other professions.

- That Jason Day performance on the 18th green is what sports is all about. Great stuff.

- The ONE thing the Browns have/had were the iconic jerseys. Not anymore. Now, the Browns- the one franchise even Bengals Fan can smack- are rocking jerseys that some urban high school would wear. Great call, management!

- Hit Jungle Jim's yesterday. IF- a big IF- you're a foodie/groceryball that place must be pretty cool. For me, it was "get me outta here." I did pick up some Yuengling Summer Wheat for $2.99 a sixer, tho.

I use to be on the side of cable being convenient and worth the price until SlingTV came out, for $25 a month I'll never have to worry about missing a UK game, so it's tempting. Plus I learned this weekend as long as you have cable internet you can hook a coax straight from the wall and pick up about 10 channels along with the networks.

"Yea, the uh, little boy is driving it well, putting it well..."

:flushed:

There is a unique breed of Hoosier that Fuzzy really embodies and that is the "southern Hoosier." They live pretty much within 30 minutes of Louisville, have southern accents, are redneck as the day is long, and mostly very racist/xenophobic.

Basically every wealthy businessman in southern Indiana. And they worship Fuzzy.

Bachelor party fishing on F'ing Lake Erie. Of course, my idiot hipster buddy couldn't just plan a normal titties&drunk party. I have to drive four hours to get sea sick.

I think the biggest uproar over those comments was that the line of clubs Fuzzy was selling at K-Mart were discontinued... And Tiger is still yet to play at Covered Bridge.

-Does Erie even have fish? I thought the automakers killed that sucker dead. Regardless that doesn't sound too bad. Of course I don't get motion sickness. Zip on over to Windsor and skip the fish.

-MCF going to Vegas this weekend. :grimace: Bastard. I miss Vegas.

Learn walleye.

And I don't usually get motion sickness either, but a fishing trip on Erie got me a few years ago. Absolutely miserable. I wish you luck, Chad.[sick]

I'd do the Sling TV thing, but I'm skeptical of the quality of internet service in my area. That's basically the only thing holding me back. Of course, Sling is essentially 'basic cable' except without all the garbage that no one ever actually watches. It's $20 and includes ESPN & ESPN2. For an additional $5 you can add every other ESPN channel to include the SEC Network. To me it would definitely be the way to go, if the internet were more reliable here.

Hey, uncalled for. Didn't even know you knew what golf was back then.

-I have to use Internet a few times per year for UK emergencies, and it's stressful as hell.

Considering PTI(pti) has long-complained about not being able to get internet or make PHONE CALLS from his home, sounds like a disaster waiting to happen. Can just picture him trying to figure out which device/cord/login goes where, and missing the 1st half of just about every game. Not to mention all the outages from hurricanes, etc.

ULIS FOR THE W....#buffering :grimace:

- I've only been posting here 12 years. You don't know my style by now? I'll add a winkie next time.

- Oh, my buddy's son was in town (13 years old) from Boston this weekend (mom lives up there) and he wanted to play paintball so we did that Saturday. First time I played in 20 years. 5-on-5. Fun times. Those middle-aged guys who take it seriously and play in tournaments and such are a real hoot. Some real WildcatAdams.

Damn, ok. Just cancelled the trip.

-Never played paintball, always thought it looked cool as hell.

...isn't there a place around here on the outskirts somewhere? Expensive too, iirc.

Bachelor party this weekend was originally supposed to be in Vegas, but we audibled last minute because of what happened last time with this same group... Groom got pick pocketed by a lady of the night while she was feeling him up/propositioning him. Was obviously drunk, etc and didnt realize it until he was on the shuttle to the airport the next morning. The Vegas airport is amazing at their response... basically said "oh yeah you lost your ID- happens every day here. What state?" They call the DMV, send over information and he's on the plane with no delay. They seemed to understand why some folks there dont want to file police reports either. My man lost several hundred bucks in cash tho.

FFB draft this weekend. Ready for football season to start. Agree with above re: the AU/UL game. Probably clear the deck for that one, full spread, the works, really. Hoping for an AU "statement" game and really think it could happen. They've got a funky enough offense to face out of the gate, UL replacing a lot on defense and *double checks* yep, Todd Grantham is still their DC. And that's not even talking about their offense getting on track early, although CBP will probably get that figured out. But opening up against a team looking to make an impression for a shot at a playoff ranking? Shew.

Played paintball last weekend in Nashville at my buddy's bachelor party.

We all got lit up pretty good. Late 20/early 30-somethings all welted up and sore - had a blast. Def not something I'd want to get into on a regular basis but it was a fun changeup for us. **** can't be cheap with all the gear/paintballs required. No thanks.

Fox Sports South still have the rights to like 2-3 SEC bball games per year.

UNPLUG THE ROKUS, SEE IF SLINGCAST IS COMPATIBLE WITH FOXSPORTS APP, THE STREAMCAST IS GRAINY, HDMI3 PASSCODE - WHERE IS IT?!

Seriously, find other ways to cut back. No touching way on this green earth would I ever entertain cable cutting.

So what is the plan for Game 1? Is there at least a scaled-back tailgate or VIP list I need to get on.

Kinda stressing about this, actually.

Time to make new friends, Adrian. Anthony is going to be tired and grumpy for the foreseeable future and he's made it pretty clear we're not welcome. In fact, I've already reconnected with my non-internet friends and promised to be more "present" at their tailgate this season.

Thanks, George.

Tailgate is business as usual. Hopefully I can talk her into a scaled down version of the 85 side items she likes to make and stick with grilling easy stuff and crock pots. The only real change is the overnight stays will be limited so you'll need to check vacancies at Chateau AP.com or HOV.

This may change after the first few games but he was basically scheduled around this for a reason.

We have a sitter lined up for Florida. So we'll know where we stand after that.

Man, I'm going to miss your 2 cameos where you stumble around muttering "bop gun" and disappear quickly once your wife figures out you're hanging with your (real) internet friends.
