There isn't even a section there at Lakeside for more important people that can be trusted with poolside beer (cans, of course) ?

Ha. No. It sucks but isn't that big of a deal. Leaves more room for pretzels, pizza, hot dogs, candy, soft serve, etc. [smoke]

No thanks. Honestly a pool makes a lot more sense if you have kiddos, especially one close to the house. I just wouldn't do it if I couldn't have a few drinks.

Not sure there were many things better than snack bar goodies at the club pool growing up.

Same little microwave pizza you could buy at the krogers, but it was MAGICAL during #whistle BREAKKKKKK! Snow Cones too. :fire:

Psst. Been courted by several clubs all over the state(well documented). Lakeside would be blessed to have us. TS.

However, seems like a wasted experience. Best part of sitting by a pool is a few cold beers. Not even having that option seems pointless.

How is that process going, btw? Who are the current leaders now that you are building a family? Have to assume that's in the cards sooner than later...

Given the size and amount of people there on any given weekend, I'm actually fine with no alcohol. Place would be gym class.

One day if we join a CC, yea, I'll require cold beers. Until then, it's a nice place for me to enjoy my young family.

As long as they're all way the hell away from my residence I don't see it changing. If I had a setup like you all did growing up it'd be a no-brainer. Signature Club might not be a bad call. Could ride a cruiser over there and cut through the arboretum.

I really liked the benefits of the YMCA:
  • Moldy bathrooms and showers
  • endless supply of naked talkative old men blow drying their balls or reading the newspaper on the couch.
  • 3 rusty cans of Barbosol
  • Zero attractive females

YMCAs are the ultimate hit or miss. There are some brand new, really nice ones- great for family pools and a tons of kids sports programs.

Then there are the old school YMCAs that are churched up flop houses.

22 million? I mean everyone would do porn for 22 million, right?

-No. I'll just walk or ride a bike. Thanks.

Have the locations been gone since the new format? Dammit, there were some good hidden gems in there. One of the best surprises when I would pay attention and catch a new one.

That's the High Street Y but it's a block away from work and $12 a month so I deal with it.

Is Jeff Ruby's pretty much the place to go in Cincinnati for a special occasion? I made reservations there for the 1st anniversary because I wasn't really sure about anywhere else.

Ruby's is always a good call. Baller move -> call ahead and tell them it's a special occasion and have a bottle of champagne on the table.

I didn't play in it this year, but I heard this morning that a guy shot 60 on Saturday at Central City CC's Armstrong Invitational.

Good fng grief... Attractive females flaunting their good looks to attract other attractive females to join their organization? Who gives a flying touch.

So sick and tired of whiny little Millennials getting their feelings hurt and being OFFENDED by EVERYTHING. What an outrage!

Go start your own organization you ugly *** GDI hipster. Then you can make your own rules. Until then STFU.

Really think it was hipsters that are pissed at the bama video? Seems like that wouldn't be the demographic I would have guessed.

Nevertheless, I always enjoy a good ole hipster rant by richie.

I won a set of Titleist Irons in that one year, shot 70/72 and won the 1st flight. Is that the Par 33 9 hole track?

Boca starting to get a lot of play for "special occasion" spot in Cincinnati. Lot to do with it being the old Masionette location, imo.
