It's honestly the worst situation to be in long term. How much harder was the Tubby transition/decision than Gillispie? Now imagine that we actually had to fire Tubby. It would have been miserable hearing what an awful, shortsighted, win at all cost, racist, piece of **** institution the University of Kentucky was for doing that. Hell, we still caught some of that and Tubby basically had his bags packed at Christmas to take the Minnesota job unbeknownst to his bosses at UK.

UK got destroyed and to this day, lots of people still think Tubby was fired or forced out. Truth is, if UK came out and said Tubby was a lazy n-word and they're hiring Donald Sterling as AD to fire him, it probably would have gone the same way it did.

UGA would take some heat firing Richt but nothing comparable to that shitshow we went through.

Ending week 2 of the new job, catpawing on the couch and firing an email off every 30 mins while trying to sound busy when my boss calls.

Yep...really want to call the last guy I reported to and tell him he was right, this was a mistake and I'll be back in Monday at 8 am to sell doorknobs to scam artists or look up key blanks for necks that can't read.

I don't think that even Chief is dumb enough to argue that Richt hasn't underachieved. But someone said that they've never even been close to playing for a title and that's just false.
Actually said, "not really that close."

They had a few "chances," 3 but even then it wasn't anymore than that and how many teams per year have a chance? Auburn got jobbed out of playing for a title. UGa got beat in 2012. they had their chance and lost. Twice that year. Played in a non-BCS bowl. I mean if they hadn't got steam rolled by South Carolina, AGAIN, it might not have mattered.

So if you want to argue over semantics of them being close to making the BCSCG. Have at it. Silly point.

LOATHE UGA fans with a burning passion. The heck with those ********. Hope they sit in Richt mediocrity for eternity.

Stuck up gafs who honestly believe their program is on par with Bama, Southern Cal, Texas, Florida, etc. Their one and only title was almost FORTY years ago. Also, Florida has won 19 out of the last 25 against them. Pathetic.

Not to mention S Carolina seems to beat them every year as well.

So, we didn't make Fultz final 3?

Washington is the word per super secret sources (and the Twitter consensus). Damn.

Must be good news for another target though, if we didn't even make his Top 3 that leads me to believe we didn't even push.

As long as it's not UofL, I DGAF. So many guards of similar/equal caliber in this loaded class, we'll get a few.

- Not surprised about Baylor. Typical Baptist hypocrisy.

- Fox has emerged as the best guard in the class. Alkins has blown up. And Cal's #1 is Monk. Just a loaded year for guards.

- lol @ Jurl.

They're not worried about the stock market. UK is all in with Zija. Totally divested from Wall Street.

stock market crashing because all the #AshleyMadisonLeaks people are cashing out their portfolio to hide untraceable assets in a Caribbean bank away from the divorce lawyers

No doubt that Richt has underachieved but I'm not sure who they could get that could do better than getting them 1 play from playing for the title.

Nick Saban ? Urban Meyer ? Bet they could win Georgia a title. You where not shitting down both legs with your CLOSE argument, then you just let loose a violent, two legged **** stain with that take.

Yeah no chance in hell somebody like a Pitino would go to Louisville, never, I mean he coached UK. You really are a stupid touch. I mean if everyone is what iffing, then never say never. LSu coach, think he MIGHT be able to win a Georgia ? Is he too big for a school that has a recruiting base as good as any ? Some of you people act like Georgia is NW just East Of Atl Tech.

I defend richt because georgia under his watch is actually about as good as they've ever been. even vince jesus himself dooley didn't win it all until like his 14th season. they've underachieved, but not greatly. that's absurd. tennessee and florida have greatly underachieved. hes been good enough not to get fired. done well. just hasn't crushed it.

Florida has 3 titles since Georgia's last and 2 in the last 10. Not to mention basically owning that series. Florida has been down like 4 of the last 30 years.

Agree on UT but they do have a title in the last 20.

It's just insane how much talent has been in that program the past 15 years.
