When we were all getting excited about the beautiful August weather last week, this maxim kept crossing my mind:
It is always hotter than hammered hell the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.

-10 years bubby. It wasn't a jello shot, it was the cup and it wasn't my face it was my body. Never understood how that got mixed up. Probably the fact that wodie and pti looked like they hadn't slept in 3 days and could barely talk. Really wasn't all that bad. He took the shot, garbled something and flicked the cup off my chest. This was the party days, I understood. Plus I was trying to wax sloot so a fight in the first 3 minutes would've killed that vibe.
-Labor Day is always brutal. Miami Ohio game, WKU game, countless UL games... part of it. Yes, I'd prefer it be 75/55 but I'm not sad to see a last good burst of summer before it drops way down next week.
-Where is Dawson going? I honestly never associate him with this place anyways. Weird fit.
-VMAs are ****. I like to think I have a decent hold on pop culture for my age but I have no idea what the hell some of that was last night. Since Ga-Ga everyone has just went so bizarre it's not even entertaining OR they're staging "drama" to drive ratings. What a bunch of idiots musicians are. Mercy. B/w the Kayne drug induced rant and whatever Miley was doing. No thanks. If that makes me old, happy to be there.

Got to walk through commonwealth. It's a pretty big damn mess to be honest.
-Concourses are maybe 65% complete. They were black topping while I was there. I would assume that will be ready for Saturday. There's still quite a bit of paving that needs to be done around the stadium. Sidewalks and asphalt near the south side is still missing.
-the field looks dope. This has been mentioned a million times but my goodness it really pops.
-The facade is very impressive. Driving by is one thing but when you're right up next to it its striking. Top notch, imo
-the loge is a mess. Like, total disaster. I have no clue how they expect to have the WWTMFH and schems of the world in there Saturday. Drywall has just been put up, no finishes, the bar is just a plywood box, bathrooms don't even have fixtures. Same goes for the lower level coaches offices and team meeting rooms.
-Mitch was pacing around the entire time looking like a damn maniac. The man is not in a good place, imo
-I'd say by the Auburn game that place will be bonkers.

Coach Mitchell going to have a hard time busting a moving during the pregame celebraish if they don't finish paving IMO.

SEC rule is every human being must have a ticket. That's literally a fact, IMO.
About 10 years ago, I personally saw Mitch's Minions turn away a mother and father with a 3 month old hanging from the mom's neck in a Baby Bjorn carrier. They only had 2 tickets and were standing outside the stadium, weeping. It was ugly.
It got worse after SAE ran up and kicked them.

Misting showers at the entrance of Auschwitz seems like kind of a bad idea. Honestly, it seems something Michael Scott from The Office would do if he were in charge.
They just didn't want anyone getting overheated. I hear that place can be a real oven.

Ordered Direct TV today after an awful year of TWC. They said it came with free NFL Sunday Ticket. I told them I didn't want it. It's not about money, it's about sending a message. F the NFL.
