I'm not really even a "dog" person, but our 15 year old husky had to be put down in February... and the sadness was still pretty strong when it was "Post a picture of your dog on Facebook" day or whatever last week.

-Think some people need to temper expectations a little. 18 freshman(tr or rs) on the 2 deep. Think like 8 of those are at LB, a pretty important position. Future looks good though. I love the foundation Stoops is laying. Bowl game and I'm optimistic. That has to be the floor with this team and 8 home games but 8 regular season wins? I don't see it.

He is making every UK athletic team member, UKAD employee, & their families put in some hours this week getting the stadium ready for Saturday? Wow.

I don't know if it's still around but there use to be a setting in iTunes where people could vote or request songs via the remote app on iPhones.
I get "let's be part of this awesome experience!!!!" but they are running WAY behind. Don't make the rest of your employees suffer b/c the work is behind schedule. Especially the employees who have NOTHING to do with the construction, and helping with the construction is WAY BEYOND their job description.

I've had experiences where well meaning but stupid upper managers get this brilliant idea. "It is all hands on deck, drop what you normally do and come pitch in to get this important project done! We are all one big team, the more hands the better to help us meet our goals!!"

- Saturday can't get here soon enough. Haven't able to enjoy an all day tailgate into a night game in years.
- Despite my redass all summer about the construction issue I can't express how excited I am to see the new digs. All I've thought about since April.
- Offense is going to be fire. Depth, playmakers and a swash buckling offensive coordinator in Dawson whose attitude is rubbing off on our players.
- Worried about youth getting exposed on defense... Especially at linebacker. Hatcher coming back will be huge. This is the year he takes the leap.
- Bonz is a wildcard with his tunes selections. One minute he cranks awesome stuff like Seger or G & R and the next minute he's air guitaring to Megadeth while people clear the deck and head inside.
- Dometos in the can for Saturday. Nothing else for an all day into the night situation.
