And here goes Anth drawing parallels to something a high school principal did 20 years ago.

Lay it on me, fella!

It's pretty interesting the stereotypical shirt & tie (no jacket to be found) look has transitioned from video store clerk to mobile phone store clerk as technology marches on.

It will be *the* look of body-implanted computer tune-up techs by 2025. Mark it down.

-Out for Champions. In for NYC for now unless the football team does some crazy stuff and we have to decide otherwise.

-Spent a good hour yesterday googling some former friends and classmates. Yikes. Scary stuff with a son growing up and trying to steer him into the correct circles. Those Mt Carmel kids haven't fared so well.

-OK SAE. Thanks for schooling us on work attire and coach/player relationships. Anxious for the next topic.

Scrubs FTMFW.

Ties are being frowned upon in hospitals. TS

In for Chicago trip.

Bern's steakhouse....shew, maybe one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Place is unreal. 100k bottles, largest private wine collection in the country. Restaurant is gorgeous, menu was like a damn novel. Rolled with the Delmonico, medium fat. Surprisingly, all the steaks come with soup, salad, onion rings and baked potato at a price you'd normally just get the steak ala carte. Has its own dessert floor upstairs with another book of after dinner drinks and desserts. Rolled with bananas foster and 30 yo tawny port. Just incredible.

I got dog cussed pretty much every day at cross country & track practice. I know you guys will find this hard to believe, but I was a smart ***.

I never acted out or got dog cussed at basketball practice. It was serious business, unlike running in circles.

We're booked for Chicago, but may end up cancelling. Save some $$$ for NYC. Multiple Chicago trips per year for the last few years has me kinda burnt out on that place...love the city overall, but certainly don't worship like most on here.

AP.com & crew still doing the suite again, haven't heard anything about it since Indy?

That meltdown was interesting to me because it's the kind of thing a coach does when there are bigger issues afoot. He was pretty pissed after the game, too. Kind of a "this team still doesn't get it and they're due to faceplant if they aren't careful" attitude. I really don't think that was a very good ECU team they struggled with.
Kind of a "Billy Clyde know what he doing, let them mess around and lose to VMI because they're not listening" sort of thing?

2nd & goal timeout late in the 2nd quarter right before Towles TD.. Camera focuses in on the sideline where Stoops and Dawson are deliberating on what to do...

Dawson stands there calmly with **** eating grin on his face looking at Stoops like he absolutely knows there going to score here it just depends on what they dial up.

It was after second down from the one. And I am almost *POSTIVE* Stoops was giving him the business about not sneaking the 6'5 240lb QB. It basically made third down a passing down.

White Chocolate? [eyeroll] Awful.

Dark is the king. Milk Chocolate is for adolescents, which is not surprising considering the source. Doc B is actually pretty accurate. Mid 70% is the right mix for me. A couple squares with a brown water or some red wine. Great way to cap an evening. Those little dark chocolate and caramel squares with sea salt... perfection.

-You were at the house last game for like 12 minutes. Good luck.

-Speaking of Marcus, cross country and it being a white sport. Only AA, marcus, in my high school was in my class. He's now my favorite follow on FB. He's still helping coach the CC team, is a staunch republican and loves Dave Ramsey. I think he may sell Zija though, or be an aspiring Zija salesman. Hey at least he isn't in jail or dead like several of our other class mates.

White chocolate isn't even really chocolate, and it's awful.

-Bonzo's old Bama lay is the Social Media "Shakeology" sales queen. She's so skinny now you can't even see her fake tits anymore, which is a shame.

Everyone assumed Marcus would be a good basketball player and the level of disappointment when we first saw him dribble was just something else. Man.

Always think of that when this episode of The Office comes on.

BBdK, when are you planning on giving your Vegas rundown? I envision you having a separate tab or Word document open while you pen the greatest experience of your life. That way you can keep up with normal posting throughout the day.

Cross-country is the whitest sport in existence. Marcus call it Cracker Track.

Cross country > all other sports. I'm speaking from a position of knowledge of elementary sports. All you have to do is get your kid to the race 30min early and hope the kid finishes the mile in 7-8 minutes then leave. Done.

- BBdK's lack of a Vegas post has definitely been disappointing AND telling. Seems he didn't have a very good time.

- 30-something babes have to watch going the other way and becoming too skinny. It's a real issue and something that needs to be addressed at the monthly meetings where the womens decide on things like organic food and infinity scarves and ****.

By the by, the smart high school cocksman joined the track team for no other reason but to pull hot track chicks from other schools at the various meets. Those things were LOADED.

Unfortunately, I learnt too late.

^You really are struggling. Go grab a caffeinated beverage man. Misspellings and grammatical mistakes obvious to even me, talking about white chocolate, 30 something babes being too skinny(i'd say that's a really small minority as most need to be careful not to put on that extra 30).

I found Vegas to be pretty awesome. Nothing was too surprising given all my friends have been a combined 100x, and I've been hearing, reading, researching about it for 20 years. Was pretty much exactly as I expected, except for a few things.

1.) Place is an optical illusion in terms of the distance between places. Good grief. "Oh, let's check out Bellagio for a bit before dinner, there it is directly across the street"

...35 minutes later you finally make it to the lobby. Lol. Actually kind of annoying after awhile. I had "learned" tennis shoes by Day 2 for our daytime "exploring", couldn't care less if that's not acceptable.

2.) Time change was a huge factor. Knew it would be, but it was even more than I anticipated. Pretty wodie being up and about at 6am (which is 9am in my mind), but by the end of the day/after dinner ------> done, and that was with us pretending/planning our days as if we were on EST. Wouldn't have gone to a club with free entry, table, and open bar. Not without drugs, at least...wouldn't have been physically possible.

Also, as predicted, that place just isn't for my wife. She had a fine time, but would be perfectly happy never going again. So, I drew a proverbial line in the cigarettes & informed her I'll be going solo/with friends at least once every few years.

To her credit, she was great the entire trip. Had freedom to "do my thing" pretty much the entire time except for dinner/show time.

Went to Dick's (lol yeah you did!) to see about getting a new nike UK polo and folks this year's models are flat out garbage. Sleeves are all weird, collars either mismatched colors and all thin (begging to get janked up in the laundry), etc. No thanks. Sorry, @patty_ice

That's why when you were talking about that Thai place not being far I was doubting it. ****, In-n-Out is visible from most casinos and I've still never made it there even though I swear I'm going every time. They don't make it easy for you to leave that area. At all.

I've semi-successfully attempted just staying on eastern time but not with a group. Kind of hard with more than 1 person. Just gotta push through night 1 so you sleep later than 6a. Typically the excitement plus a couple red bulls is enough.
