Mitch,

I would like to cancel two of my four season tickets. After waiting to exit the Orange Lot after the game, two of our party's tickets will no longer be necessary. Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this matter.

Sincerely,

A. George Donner III '47

I really do think getting rid of the piss troughs was a massive error and - frankly - a capitulation to the "I get nervous when someone pees next to me" portion of the fanbase.

If you're feeling nostalgic, UKAA didn't renovate the restroom behind the student section, so you can still find the piss troughs there.

Also saw lots of pictures on FB from the Bourbon Festival in Bardstown. Everyone I saw was in shorts, tees, jeans, polos...typical casual festival attire.

...except HymanKaplan, who was in a Black Suit & Tie. [laughing]

Found that pretty funny, given his act on here.

The Tasting & Gala is the signature event of the Kentucky Bourbon Festival. A Bourbon lover’s dream and a night you will never forget. Begin your evening by sampling the finest Kentucky Bourbons from eight distilleries and four brands, with a chance to meet Master Distillers and Ambassadors. Wild Turkey Distillery will provide the tasting bag to hold your complimentary glassware. Following the tasting, enjoy the official toast with 1792 Small Batch Bourbon. Begin your gourmet experience with a salad enhanced by Michter’s Bourbon. Continue to tantalize your taste buds with a gourmet Kentucky meal and a specialty dessert prepared with Blanton’s Single Barrel Bourbon. Dancing during the evening. $175 per person. (Must be 21.) Reservations required. Dress – Formal-Black Tie is strongly encouraged.

7:30pm kick for EKU on 10/3.

7:30 is the new noon. Nice perk of the SEC Network, but like Wodie said, it's a helluva grind for people out of town. Religious folks in the Orange Lot will probably have to start wearing their church clothes to the game.

No kidding...

Thing is, I tore through all of my spouse points the previous weekend, when I bailed on a wedding to watch the Packers/Bears. So when my wife said I'm wearing a suit, I'm wearing the GD suit and keeping my mouth shut.

Anybody that gets a chance to go should do so. That thing is ridiculous. Basically all of the bourbon you can drink.

- The best SEC road trip BY FAR is any road trip 73 was on.

- Being a Bengals fan is so weird. Am I even supposed to get excited about regular season Ws anymore?

- GYERO Bama Fans have been awfully quiet the last couple years.

- Hit up Oktoberfest Zinzinnati Friday night- goetta balls, German almonds, goetta brat, Sam Adams Oktoberfest and Rivertown Pumpkin Ale.

Nope. Maybe against an AFC North team and probably later on if it helps seeding. Otherwise just line up, nod approvingly, and angst up for the post season.

-I am completely oblivious to the world of podcasts. I mean, don't even know where they come from or who makes them. Total blindspot for me. Podcasts.

Definitely one of the least surprising statements in GYERO history. It's essentially recorded talk radio that you can download onto your phone. Also known as something technological, so of no interest to you. Who makes them? Seems like everyone these days. Definitely covers every subject.

Huber/Mrs. Huber got some big screen time at the game. Should've been sponsored by John Deere or Husqvarna.

RE: Podcasts

Just in regards to sports, almost every sports media member out there today has a podcast. It's sports talk radio without the callers.

Pretty much have given up all hope of ever ending the streak. Ever.

If you rank the 29 teams Florida has fielded since we last won, this one would have to be roughly 27th. And if you ranked the 29 teams we have fielded since then, this UK team would be about 4th.

The game was at home, at night, with a BLUE OUT, with everything teed up... and we can't score a effing touchdown.

The stars were aligned, and we still couldn't do it.

It's never going to happen. Period. If you think it is, your're fooling yourself.

Glass half full:

A win against us isn't gonna give UF a shot in the arm. Their only guaranteed SEC win (besides us lol) is Vandy. Could be 6-7 wins in Gainesville and if mcelwain loses locker room then we could nab them next year.

-Could be 3-0 and could just as easily be 0-3.

-Dorian Baker can EAD. He likes to hit unsuspecting defenders but can't catch easy balls. GTFO.

lol nope

The streak will hit 40 and there'll be an SEC Network special about it.

When it hits 75 ESPN will do a 30/30 on it.

Surprised Stoops isn't a little fed up with Baker. Seems way more interested in talking/acting tough than he does making simple plays.

the myth that floridas team this year is no good is just that -- a myth. too many people just don't get that. they may not be good by their own high standards, but they've got nfl talent, high draft picks, and 5 star players all over the field. we don't.

that's why they beat us. their backups are typically stronger/faster/taller/quicker than out starters. the talent disparity is shocking.
