Down the stretch Teague couldn't have played any better in terms of what that team needed. Distributor, low turnovers, took what the defense gave him, hit some big shots, etc.
Dude balled against Iowa St and came out on absolute fire against UL in the Final Four. People also tend to underestimate how good of a defender he was. Kid was a bulldog on the ball.
Every year older Lexington folk who want to be in the know pick one kid that is a "headcase" bc that's what they think they hear through the grapevine and it escalates from there. Thank goodness Cal's folks don't talk unlike the coaching staffs before where crap leaked out all of the time and you would have something like a player getting a speeding ticket all of a sudden turn into the kid totaled his car, had sex with Donna Smith while driving and ran over 3 innocent bystanders in Chevy Chase.
Cal runs a tight ship and doesn't allow his staff to talk unless you are probably 1 of 5 people. TS.

actually, it's pretty amazing how astutely they've held the "headcase" shtick under wraps during the calipari administration. orton and cousins, in particular, made it thru an entire season virtually unscathed. and those two of course are complete lunatics.
Orton seriously may wind up being the subject of a 30/30. Not because of his basketball accomplishments, but because him being a former basketball player may wind up an interesting footnote in some international incident.

Yes, was not there for the first one... Won the 2nd one, taking down Bonz. Won the push-ups with a legit 50 (sloot waived off another 5-6 too).
