You guys are so much older and wiser. Congrats on being bandwagon fans. I'm sure if we connected on those 2 drives(UF,AU), and were sitting at 6-3 with 3 winnable games left, you wouldn't all be talking about your casual interest in the football team. You'd be all in with your #STOOPSTROOPS shirts on. Instead, like always, UK football is Charlie Browning itself and you're off the wagon. Good riddance. Grow some damn balls.

Like I said, bullf*ckingshit. You don't just decide to not be a fan anymore or become a "LOLHAHA I couldn't really care less if we win or lose" fan.

For the record, I'm not casual. I'm spitting mad. Confused because I thought we were past this non-sense or at least mostly past it. Was all in on Stoops and the direction now I'm very concerned. Didn't think Towles was capable of the **** show he's thrown out there recently. F*ck.

It's easy for me to be "casual" with this football team because I haven't invested thousands of dollars buying in to its progress. If I had done so, you can bet your *** that I would be much, much more emotionally unstable the past month and a half.

I get pissed watching the lack of effort during the game, but I'm able to move on pretty quickly afterwards. I'm not sure I could do that if I was a season ticket holder.

WWW.... MAGIC VAPOR SHOP... DOT COMMMMMMM.

Larry Vaught.. " KAYTS O LINE JUST DOESNT GIVE THEIR QB ANY CHAINCE. CHAINCES. CHAINCES."

Meisterbuerger starts screaming.

Van Hiles calls in basically calling our current players a bunch of pussies.

Another Sunday morning 630 listen after a debacle on Saturday. Rinse. Repeat.

Sunday morning randoms:

* This basketball team makes me feel like I am in a dressing room with Kate Upton and being asked my opinion. Everything looks good.

"Honey, how does this parka look?"

Spectacular.

"Do you like this lumberjack shirt?"

Assolutely.

"Can I wear a designer burkha?"

Dat ***, girl.

Press, don't press, dribble drive, whatever. Who gives a ****? This basketball team is going to be awesome in whatever capacity.

(UKRob is probably the only one who can actually relate to this.)

* I'm not a basketball uniform or numbers guy but Charles Matthews is just a number 4 and Marcus Lee is just a number 00. It is proper and fitting.

Perfect. I love it.

* The seventh man spot is going to be interesting. Where does Calipari go? Willis, Matthews, Humphries? My money is on Matthews. He completes the rotation.

I'm sold.

* I love that Calipari cannot go humongous and has to go with skill this year. This should, in theory, be the most enjoyable basketball team we have seen under this regime.

At least our beloved Wildcats brought home the conference crown in the fútbol last night. Wonder what those season tickets cost lol

Brain surgery is surgery...on your freakin' BRAIN! Boat...smh.

Removing a meningioma doesn't actually involve cutting the brain, it's an extradural tumor. But yes they do cut through the skull.

And I never said it was pleasant, just said that most people do well after they are removed. As opposed to the malignant tumor where you are dead in 3 months.

Puppies sent for Kyle.

As to me, that is completely FALSE - I'm pretty black and white. The reason you're spitting mad is because you're both emotionally and financially invested - which means you know the AD and coaches personally, have probably been around the players, etc.

Don't pay any attention to US. Hell, maybe it will finally change. Hope it does.

And "good riddance"?? . . . [laughing]

Yeah, OK.

I'm fine. Ask me again on Tuedsay -- Somehow I'm not even to the halfway point of the trip yet, which doesn't seem possible...

I get along with this place.

Being financially invested has nothing to do with it. Being born and knowing nothing different than to be obsessed with UK sports is the reason. Can't really turn that off.

Congrats on being a casual fan. I don't have that option and I assume most on here are the same.

-I understood what Bob was saying but it sounded weird. Sucks for KK though.

I'm certainly not in the brain cancer is a walk in the park camp, but...

Usually at his age, Kuric is dead from a GBM in less than a year if brain cancer is involved. Lucky it was just a meningioma that was operable.

Any craniectomy can be complicated, but given his young age, previous good health, odds would usually heavily favor him doing well post op. Of course, we don't know the details so who the hell knows.

Actually I think it has more to do with age. 10 years ago, I would have lived and died with this team even though I knew better. I would still emotionally invest. As I've gotten older, on the football side, I stop myself and question why the hell I'm investing so much emotionally into a bunch of 18-22 year old kids and I've learned to channel it to things I now consider more important that I didn't 10 years ago. They turn in a **** show and I can change the channel where before I would have sat there and watched it. Every miserable second of it. I think when you hit your 40s, you just get a different perspective on things. Plus realizing they've only had one or two really good seasons in my ENTIRE life helps me move on from it much better.

Now the basketball team, that's a totally different story. I'm embarrassed by how much I'm invested in those guys.

My wife delivered a baby last night with the first name "I'Aam" and middle name "Da'king". Our conversation this morning after she told me (and showed me the pic of the birth certificate):

- "I have several questions... And I know the answers. But I'm gonna ask them anyway."

-"Yes to your first question."

-"are the parents..." "Nope, she doesn't know who the dad is"

-"was she..." "Yes. Cocaine."

America!

Pretty fair assessment that this upcoming game at Vanderbilt is the most important game of Stoops' tenure at Kentucky to date. Back-to-back 5-7 seasons after 5-1 and 4-1 starts would have to put the staff on a warm seat heading in to season 4.

Well said, LC.

Good grief, I'm not arguing about this. Different strokes.

If BBdK's post is directed at me, I have no idea where you get the "superior" stuff. The past 15 years, I would finish in the bottom 5% of any superfan contest. You win.

Not sure what "person" has anything to do with it though, or what that even means. Cheap shot.

:(

Meetch was close to an email from old SAE. Thankfully, I'm pretty sure my sensibilities are kicking in before I'm back at my desk Monday morning.

After I recently had someone explain to me that La-a was a real name and pronounced LaDasha, I've given up all hope on our future. I feel for you and your wife, @UKswimmer875 , as those in healthcare and education are the first to see and deal with these idiots.

Amazon is probably the greatest company on the planet. Knocked out half my Christmas shopping today in minutes with just a few clicks. Nephew is getting a Spider-Man webshooter. Hopefully he will put it to good use terrorizing his mom (my sister) and his sisters. Those kind of presents are my absolute favorites to buy. Hmm...this has sirens or lights or plays the same song over and over and over. Perfect. Projectiles? Awesome. Welp, have fun kids, Aunt Melissa and I are headed home.

- Had a great time on the quick trip to Athens. Disappointing that it looks like the offense has given up a degree. Receivers aren't fighting to get open and the line just is what it is.

- We know what we have in Towles... inaccurate but big arm that makes slow decisions and now is bailing on most plays. He hasn't been the problem but he has been one of problems. Barker prolly isn't a better option right now but young guys at other spots who aren't better options right now have been getting their shots late... might as well at this point.

- Saw Randy Rogers Band while there. Solid show.

-Yeah, no way I bet the Cats with Vandy -1 or Vandy -2, they could totally beat us by 1 or 2. But Vandy -2.5? Total LOCK for UK.

-Pretty excited that heading into the Vandy game, they almost beat Florida, and UK got smoked yet again. Really sets up well for us. We clearly now have all the bad games out of our system, and Vandy has shot their wad. Couldn't ask for a more confidence inspiring set up really.
