Super interested in today's game.

Good tested team, good coach.

Have a feeling we'll be really solid today. A double digit win will have my confidence up, but even more than the score I'll be watching specific things.

1.) How Murray plays. Don't even care about his points, he gets those no matter what.
2.) If we do anything to engage Skal early throughout.
3.) Actually making some SHOTS, as a team
4.) Ulis finding his stroke
5.) Alex following up one good game with another...and Lee being Lee.

Extry Bonus: Willis & Mulder getting at least one legit run of action & some shots up. :fire::fire::fire:

I'll take 3-5 or 4-6

I don't know how the hell anyone waits to find out the result of a Cats game they DVR. Not knowing drives me insane.

^ used to do it all the time WAY back in the day before the internet/cell phones back when we are on delayed half the time. It was just something you did, and quite often...so it didn't seem like a big deal then. Don't turn on TV = you didn't know the score. Nobody "texting" (wtf is that?) you, no updates on fb/twitter/etc, it was actually pretty easy.

Today, not really possible or desirable, unless it was a really big game I could completely control my surroundings and ensure I talked to NOBODY. Even at a funeral (In Kentucky), someone is probably going to bring it up if you stick around long enough & something worthwhile happens.

Basically have to disconnect yourself from the entire world, and even then it's still hard to not somehow find out something.

Came home from Vegas two years ago on the day of the Louisville game. DVR'd the game since we were landing around halftime. Thought I was safe to get my luggage and drive straight home with the radio and cell turned off. As soon as we landed and before we get to the gate this chick behind me checks the score on her phone and alerts our entire section while she is loudly shrieking and repeating the score....CATS win 73--66!!!
Landed in Cincinnati.....*****

Crean so dumb. IU would be top 10 despite Crean with Fischer.

Yogi
Blackmon
Williams
Bryant
Fischer

...that's about as perfect of a CBB lineup as you could get really, 1-5. Johnson, Max, Zeisloft, etc off the bench.

He's such an idiot.

Even with is his lineup THIS year, any decent coach would have them top 20, EASY.

[laughing] Exactly.

I mean, if you enjoy a challenge...go for it. Would be an impressive feat this day in age, especially for a decent-to-good game.

Now is the time for IU to make its run. Their schedule until February is relatively weak. That being said hopefully they lose a few more to some teams they should beat. With Crean at the helm, no doubt they will. But as I said they have a great opportunity until February to roll.

Skal is a project. As in may or may not be able to help us this season. He's a long term project. He might be two years away from helping a college team win. (Which he obviously wouldn't even be on a college team in two years, but whatever.)

Doug shows actively seeks out restaurants for their chicken fingers. Terrible human.

Murray will be :fire:eek:ne day at the Y. Has that type of game.

It's pretty clear that Cal just doesn't trust Willis for whatever reason. They are packing in a zone and the dude can't get run.

Ulis 1-4, but should be something-for-10 imo...indeed depressing watching him pass up those looks.

He could get 50 one game if/when he gets his stroke back simply by taking WIDE OPEN 3s.

Honestly wonder, with Willis' indifference to working hard/basketball in the past, if his hair color didn't piss off Cal.

He was basically coming off of his best half of his basketball CAREER (2nd Half UCLA) when he was our best player on the floor, and hasn't really played since...

Reaching here and not really serious, but

Edit: He buzzed it. Atta boy!

I don't think we have gotten a clean defensive board. If we get one it feels like luck.

Color me worried about Poythress. If he's done, we're done. This is weird & mysterious.

Shewwee, every game I go into thinking "this is the game we break out of that shooting slump". Hope I'm not doing the same in February. Ugly bball.

Murray may end up being the one true "mercenary" type player we've had. Came in really late in the signing period and don't really see him being a Wildcat friend forever.

I guess maybe Goodwin would be similar.

UK prized freshman Isaiah Briscoe, Skal Labissiere & Jamal Murray a combined 0-12 from floor 1st half - Murray 0-6, Briscoe 0-4, Skal 0-2

He's weird. Needs to play well enough to overcome that. Definitely seems like his own guy at this point imo. Not overreacting, it's early, but that's how it feels.

Anyone watch the Briscoe tape from Friday? On Jon Hale/My Twitter convo if not.

...reporters asking him several times about "Murray says this, Murray says that" w/ regards to struggling/adjusting with 3 guards, getting used to 'not being the man", etc, etc.

Each time Zay was basically like "oh, well not for me...I love it. Not for me, I embrace it...etc, etc" ...basically indirectly throwing shade & giving the opposite take of Jamal on each question, imo. Was awkward to watch.

Murray needs to learn getting to the elbow and taking a set basketball shot. Maybe he is not quick enough to create it but his running floater can get pumped.
