Doron Lamb was the laziest player in Calipari UK history (outside of Orton) and the only one who seems to continue to want to burn his UK bridges...even Orton is being invited back to try and rejoin the family this summer. Lamb has lived in town and still is persona non grata

Twice got invited back to the UK Alumni Game, they paid to bring him in and he he stayed in his hotel room and wouldn't come downstairs to actually play in the game...an amazing move once...but did it twice.

But yeah, I've been thinking about that a lot lately, too, regarding Cal's recruiting. For a guy who is usually so far ahead of the curve, you'd think he'd start focusing more and more on the new NBA of small ball and elite shooters. Add one deadeye per class.

We apparently have a football team full of head cases and prima donnas that can't win a real game to save their lives. On the other hand we have Anthony Davis taking the 4th most shots on a national championship team. That is the difference between real winners and losers.

If you aren't from Kentucky, are a 4 or 5 star prospect with offers from schools like Alabama, Florida, Ohio State, Georgia etc..., and you choose to go to UK, then you have questionable judgment, and we shouldn't be all that shocked when you act like an *** clown once you get here.

Cal's had Knight, Lamb, and Booker as far as great shooters of the ball. That's a pretty good hall. And of course there were other "deadeye" guys recruited that werent exactly that when they got to campus.

Football staff stuff is insane right now...I don't like when people do the "if only folks knew" thing but there is really no other way to talk about it. No idea how its going to shake out but apparently yesterday was quite the day around Nutter. I expect a final call one way or the other on a couple of the guys by Wednesday.

Honestly besides Marrow/Scott/Ansley (if he wanted to stay), I am not sure its totally clear what is going to happen with any of the others.

what are their collective thoughts on the affordable care act? donald trumps immigration proposal? this weeks republican presidential debate?

Why? I mean, clearly to be a dick. But why is he trying to be a dick? Who is he mad at and why?

I had some really great room service this morning. Some kind of fried egg roll thing stuffed with eggs, cheese, chorizo, and Hot peppers with guacamole. There's probably a word for it in Spanish, I just called it delicious.

Did Trey Lyles even play last year? I mean I can't really remember anything about him playing.

Lol that's awesome.

That's why I love him to death. Totally in his own little world. I just want to be his friend like RichyP69. I hope they are still tight.

He's eating new exotic foods wherever he's stationed now - South America somewheres? Idk, but his plates are very colorful.

I never really heard a good answer to why...I think that is just how he is. I meet with a scout every year for one of the teams that Lamb played for to talk about UK players and one time he told me that in the history of that organization, they had never had a bigger prick than Doron...his direct quote to me was "he needs to be about ten times better than he is to justify putting up with his sh*t"

Actually was watching Return of the Jedi yesterday in Spanish. Might have been the rum, but felt like I understood everything.

Anth's obsession with showers is weird. Pretty sure it's just a metaphor for latent homosexuality.

Lamb's going to end up sitting outside a bodega in Queens, burning a menthol heater, rubbing his perfectly round gut under his wife beater, and calling all the kids "youngblood"

Can't hate on that

-Gracious. Stone/Parker -> Patterson was the gap in Nike Hoop Summit players at UK.

-I'm dunzo with football for the year. I'll think about that next August.

That's probably bc D Lamb and is doggy, Richy, were too busy in the suite.

In all seriousness, that Richy dude that Lamb grew up with and attended UK made me nervous at touch. Like.. Make absolutely sure that dude doesn't say anything or do anything stupid.

Ha, I kinda feel the same way.

He was very solid, and had a few breakout stretches, but he definitely had a "weird' existence on the team imo. Not sure I ever heard him talk either.

Would be a 1st team AA this season most likely.

Had a friend sit next to Lamb at that Dinner they used to have at Transy before the basketball season gets underway. The entree that night was a marinated grilled chicken breast. When the server sat Doron's plate in front of him he stared at it, turned to the server and says "what is it". After being told it was grilled chicken Doron came back with "Well can you go fry it or somethin?"

why would things come to a head with the staff this weekend? All the recruits in on their visits made it known they will sign in Feb even if their recruiter and/or position coach is fired?

If he cleans house, as usual Stoops clock management is impeccable. Every other P5 conference job opening is closed and hires of almost all DCs & OCs are complete. Time to hit the market for a new wide receiver coach or defensive coordinator!!! Almost as if the postseason coaching job carousel were the last 2 minutes of the 2nd quarter or something.....

Missed the Bahamas trip. Missed some games in season. I joke about this but nothing he did really sticks out.

I loved his game, just kinda had a forgetful season (not disappointing). Maybe it's b/c we had 8-9 other polarizing players, just kinda weird in retrospect & I get what Booker is saying.

Don't really have any singular memory of the kid other than he was indeed on the team and a damn good player.

And Dakari. I am not sure how much he could have improved his draft stock but he would be All SEC this year.
