Raleigh is hosting the Holiday Invitational Basketball Tournament next week. There is a commercial for it that is played 30 times an hour with the main billing line "Come see University of Kentucky basketball signees Bam Adebayo, DeAaron Fox, and Sacha Killeya-Jones".

No other program is mentioned.

Local program fans have to be completely :mad::mad::mad::mad: and I love it.

We're going to have two 17 year olds on the roster going into conference play, I'd be surprised if that's happened many times anywhere.

- The worst part about being a Bengals fans (okay, that's hyperbole) is having no retort for things such as this new Steelers surge in the media. If you're a UK basketball fan, you'd have no problem pulling the "F You- we'll see you in March." As a Bengals fan, you keep your mouth shut because you believe it all as much as the haterz.
I feel like being on the Bengals side of Bengals/Steelers and the Reds side of Reds/Cardinals gives us greater insight into the mindset of those dopes on the Louisville side of UK/UL, and makes us appreciate UK basketball even more.

We the real UK fans, wcc.

Supposedly Marrow and a recruit have started following the asst WR coach from Ohio State on Twitter. Will be disappointed if that is the only move made.

Spinoff from Chad's post....I've wondered which pre-internet Wildcat from our era would have garnered the most message board frustration. I'm thinking guys like Richard Madison, Rob Lock, Rod Rhodes fit the bill, but I'm probably missing out on others.

Can't imagine him going on air tomorrow, knowing that will be the first question, and still having uncertainty with the staff. Don't really care though. Done with that **** until next summer.

-Check I'm getting ready to deposit has a preprinted indifferent emoticon in the top corner that says, "have an ordinary day."

Cracked me up for some reason.

Just shut up, recruit, stay out everyones vision until next April. Him being on Mags52 show or any media outlet just reminds everyone of the horribly disappointing infuriating 2015 season we are all trying to forget & erase from the memory.

just the sound of his voice will bring up so much terrible - needing OT for an EKU team that fired its coach, 3 times inside the 5 at Vandy netting 3 points, 21-0 1st quarter lead over UL and lost in a blowout....

Good advice, he should definitely not say or do anything publicly for 10 months. Much better look than going on a radio show.

That OSU assistant doesn't recruit off campus, it appears, and is Urban's son-in-law fwiw

LeRon Ellis would've been crucified.

Aminu Timberlake would've openly wept if he read what would've been written about him.

I do wish we could've read about Eddie Sutton's shenanigans through the eyes of Chief's sources. Would've been dial up gold.

Antoine Walker would've been the source of a lot of conversation.

So this Missouri bill that says if a player went on strike they'd have their scholarship revoked...are they trying to apply this to the players who already went on strike, or just in case a strike happens in the future?

Admittedly I haven't really paid attention, but just noticing it on the bottom line it appears to insinuate it applies retroactively.

Are Missouri law makers really that stupid?

I think Sean Sutton would've been unpopular, definitely, but I think UK fans understand when guys are just limited. Seems like more scorn is reserved for guys with worlds of potential who just never live up to it. And Rob Lock.

Clock management just ain't in the man's skill set. Why would it take 2 1/2 weeks after the UL game to fire some guys. Needed to do intense film session to see that segments of his team were incompetent? Give Elliot or whoever is being fired time to show they could bring in a 4* for '16 to save their job?

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- If one state lawmaker has his way, marijuana stores in Kentucky could become a reality. There's a new attempt to legalize "grass" in the Bluegrass state.

Sen. Perry Clark of Louisville has been trying for years -- unsuccessfully -- to legalize medical marijuana. Now, he's going a step further, with a bill that would allow Kentuckians to light up recreationally.

"It's time for us to leap boldly into the future," Clark told WDRB News.

Sen. Clark's bill would decriminalize and regulate the possession, cultivation and sale of marijuana.

"It is not a hard drug. It is senseless that you have cannabis as a Schedule 1 drug with heroin and LSD," he said.

We can't even get gambling legalized in a f*cking state thats cornerstones are booze and gambling. Instead we send all that money to Ohio and Indiana. We were national punchlines all summer because of Kim Davis. Backwards and self-sabotaging would be compliments.

You think we're going to do something fiscally intelligent and progressive to better the state? F*ck no. I'd bet we land on Mars before weed is legal in Kentucky.

Our state is supported by Horse Racing (gambol), Bourbon (death), Cigarettes (death), and Lottery (gambol)....

...OMG CASINO GAMBOL. THAT WOULD RUIN KY. [eyeroll]

Current leadership in the state isn't going to allow it to happen. If a GOP candidate gets in for Pres it'll slow it down as well. HK, I think you're fine. No offense but you might not be around to see that change. Hell, I might not be around either.

The internet existed 2007-2009. Thanks for missing my point.

You and Wizard are both correct, imo.

.I've wondered which pre-internet Wildcat from our era would have garnered the most message board frustration

Derrick Hord..Hord was a great ballplayer, just never seemed to get over the Sophomore jinx..Hall didnt help the matter either..never got out of his dog house.

Limited's ***. Sean was terrible, and Eddie sure as **** didnt want Richie coming here so he could start his "tough little tiger" all four years. Drunk mother ******. Still pisses me off.

My secretary/office manager got me a 5th of Blanton's Single Barrel, damn. Gonna go ahead and call that as my best Christmas gift I'll receive this year.

You do know that all Blanton's is single barrel?

They can legalize marijuana all they want in KY, until the fed reschedules it you can still be fired for smoking it legally.

Yes, I do. It's my absolute favorite & a great & unexpected gift. I drink more bourbon than all of you combined. :100points:

..with regards to Uber, they haven't been allowed at many/most airports, been an ongoing issue for years now. Louisville airport just got approved last week, was simply passing along the info, not hyping Uber. Chad & Jerry both got their codes from me, btw.

With regards to my Chromebook, knew absolutely nothing about them, and I love it. Gave thanks to those who recommended.
