What's up with these people who are good at wrapping presents, females I mean?

****. Reading this I just remembered I left my wife's last present at the house this morning. Need to get the damned thing wrapped before the office closes for Christmas.

Shew wee I suck at the wrapping presents. Not as bad as Anth, though. [winking]

Speaking of the few things I don't excel at, we ran across a Ping Pong Social Club in Chelsea. Decided to walk in b/c her brother is recently ate up with it. Place was crazy.

It was like Milestone as far as plushness. $99-$150 monthly membership, and you still have to pay for games at "prime" times. Place had about 50 tables, full locker rooms, multiple bars, full kitchen, etc. , and a store filled with paddles up to $400 and special Ping Pong gear & accessories that would probably even make Anthonys735 get into it.

Watched a couple of Asians go at it for about 10 minutes. Those guys can play some ping pong man...incredible.

-Anth is the gift wrapper in our household. Bags ftw. I need to go buy more bags today. Or just wrap everything in baby boy shower gift bags.

-What is a cardboard box in the laundry basket?

-I still love Ulis, but get out of the slump, kid!

-Will pti and tiff ever get married? That's not necessary to have kids, ya know? Leggo.

I barely remember that game, but can't even imagine what it would've been like as an adult at the peak of the rivalry watching a Kentucky boy who spurned the Cards for the Cats going off for 26 as a freshman. Can't even imagine.

Agree, Sloot. I'm absolutely money at putting a gift in a bag and wadding up some of that colored (no racist) paper to hide the gift. :fire:

-If marriage & "locking in" scares you, then I'd assume churrin are off the table, b/c that's marriage times infinity as far as that goes.

Our Xmas movie is tomorrow, still stressing about the decision. Need to make those 2 hours count.

It on Netflix?

Is Sparks underrated by UK fans because of his association of the end of the Tubby era? I mean that dude had some moments- Louisville game, Michigan State buzzerbeater, going off against UConn in the NCAA, etc.

My favorite underrated Sparks moment was when he went TJ Sorrentine against South Carolina (I think?)...launching from about 30 about 5 seconds into the shot clock. #swish

He was in Tay land. Heel was fully on the logo.

Edit: Here it is. :fire::fire::fire: I mean, pause that **** on his release [laughing]

Nope, I checked. Wife loves it so I bought it on bluray at Best Buy for $14.99. Beats renting it this year, and then probably having to rent it again several times over the years.

Everything gets magnified x 10 after a loss.

Love Ulis for what he is. Think because of our lack of scoring options this season we are counting on him too much as a major scoring piece and that's not his game.

Teams gameplan around him now and with our lack of consistent shooting and post presence he doesn't get the same looks.

Hope some of his shooting problems are due to this arm issue and once that is fully healed his % goes up.

I feel like Ulis is getting plenty of great looks, and passing up many of them b/c he's been so busted.

He just needs to make them. Still making myself believe he's not fully right...as Decourcey wrote yesterday, "On no planet or league anywhere is Ulis a 25% 3pt shooter if he's fully healthy"

He was shooting poorly before the arm. I just mentioned him having trouble with the size and that's a draft issue, I don't think he's average at all. I love the kid.

Agree, but that was only for a few games...everyone goes through that. At this point, he's shot poorly for the entire season, which is approaching 1/3 done.

-What about Miracle on 34th?

Got the boys a ping pong table for Christmas. Boys will be twelve in January. They will get a phone.

The rules are simple.

No lock
We own it/they use it
Sits on living room table at bed time
If you back talk, kick your brother's *** or get ****** grades it's gone

Serious question Adam- Do you have a bunker stocked with silver, food, guns, ammo etc.? If so, how much of each?

Was at that S Carolina game when Sparks pulled up from Prince territory.

Think the next play down Rondo did the same thing for the game winner.. Net.

UK honored The Runts at that game and all of the players except for Riley from that team were signing autographs in the Hyatt pregame. Got all of their autographs on a black/white team photo that I framed. Sits in my basement on the bookshelf with all kinds of other UK stuff. Kind of a rare find.

The way the old man talks about The Runts is as if they were The Beatles to him as a youngster.

Counting your Blessings ftw if we're talking White Christmas.

The production over at Derby Dinner Playhouse was excellent, btw.

- It's definitely nice sitting on another "Could be Cal's best" recruiting class. I love everything about those guys, especially considering the good chance Ulis or Briscoe returns. Maybe add another shooter, but Fox and Monk are good. Bam is just stupid.

- I don't know how to feel about Dabo. On one hand, I have nothing against Clem(p)son and I love his enthusiasm. On the other, he's a religious wingnut who believes in some really dumb ****.

- Anyone's eyes ever get stuck because you roll them so far into the back of your head after reading one of Adam's posts? Has happened to me 4x.

- @B.B.d.K. how do you feel about Serial Season 2? Color me unimpressed so far.

- My Netflix TV Watchlist at this point:

Sherlock- terrific but each episode is like 1.5 hrs
Master of None
Making of a Murderer
What stuff does he believe in that makes him a religious wing nut? Do tell.

I buy silver often. Gold when I can. I have plenty of ammo. No bunker. Your rules are exactly what mine will be. Of course, every kid is different, and knowing when a kid is ready isn't something you can plan for, but I can't seem to think mine will be ready by 10-12. Thinking 14 or 15.
