Never remember such an odd feeling towards this game, before or after. Doesnt even feel like we won. Doesn't feel like much joy. Feel like the fanbase has a certain sense of dread about this teams future. Im happy we won most because of how much it will make UL fan miserable tho.

We will see UL in the tournament. Absolute lock.

It's honestly probably bc Cal trusts no one else to inbound it.

We have a lot of dumb out there.

We were having no problems at all with Ulis bringing it up. Ulis taking it out put the ball in Murrays hands to make quick decisions when there wasn't any reason for it.

The end of the first half and opening of the second was beautiful. Then their ******** puckered up big time and Murray dickfingered his way through the press.

Cal said Ulis was cramping late. He played it off like it was only the last minute, but I'd say it was much longer than that. So now you know the real reason he was throwing the ball in and Murray became the primary ball handler. His legs were gone and we were trying to keep him out there.

Mulder/Hawkins/Willis combine for 2+ swishes from treyville Saturday.

Bold! Choose three guys who you know will receive play time in this type of game, all of which will be relegated to spot up deep balls.

Very ballsy prediction...and throwing out big numbers like 2+. Props my man.

Bold strategy there, Cotton, let's see how this plays out.

Gawddammit- do any of you stupid touches remember 2011 and 2014? How can so many fans of the greatest program of all-time in the midst of one of our greatest runs ever be such F'ing pussies?

I was more comfortable with Hawkins bringing it up than Murray. Hawkins knew his role. Break mid-court, wait for Ulis, give it back, set up the offense.

Murray - race like an friggin' idiot down the court, penetrate too deeply into the lane, hang in the air, flail, throw it away.

@NW50 - please come get your man.

7 TOs for our Canadien. Yea he bailed us out with a couple threes but otherwise pretty awful game from Murray.

Fortunately the good AP showed up today and Ulis had his best shooting game this year.

This game aside (because I just spent the last 2 hours acting like an *******, even up 16), I'll go back to what I was saying in Feb. 2014: There are very few examples in Calipari's time at UK of guys bolting for the NBA after performing poorly in college... so there's a good chance the guys who aren't playing the way we expected will either A) figure it out sometime soon and be playing well by the tournament or B) come back and be added to another talented incoming class.

If this was a one-shot deal for UK, I could see making yourself miserable for the rest of the season, but it's not.

Some of you are ridiculous. I'm loving every minute of this. Are we great? No. We're not even very good. But 8-1 against Louisville, we're single-handedly ending Rick's career and taking years off his life. Another 2012/2015 type season on tap for next year. We're watching one of the great all-time Kentucky point guards. So what if Skal is a bust and Murray is a selfish spaz and it's probably this team's fatal flaw. If you don't enjoy the hell out of the Cal era you'll look back and wish you had, I promise. Learn sports. Learn enjoying your lives.

Or don't and just learn lurking instead.

Up at 6am this morning to watch the game in Queenstown, NZ. Will be flying to Auckland shortly to celebrate the win in the hometown of the Kiwi lumberjack.

This team has a ton of flaws, but I'm not worrying about that today.

hyperbole:

never seen a kentucky player have a game like murray had today. he legitimately filled up a years worth of blooper lowlights in a single game. from a player with his talent, that's crazy. it was like watching steve erkel trying to ball so hard on the '96 chicago bulls.

He says Pitino flipped him the bird personally when he reminded him of his record against Cal. Someone else supposedly filmed it.

If this happened and doesn't get posted to the Internet I (a) won't actually believe it happened and (b) will be furious.

He said on Twitter he was the one who yelled something at him that made him do it.

Countdown to Louisville fans claiming you can't see the finger actually up and the footage is grainy in 3...2...1...

If tgh is actually the person in the video yelling at Rick, I think GYERO can and should take full credit for finally pushing him over the edge.

Job well done, boys.

Loved the Louisville radio guys, "Well UK doesn't even play another top 25 team the rest of the way...except for Texas A&M...and ummm oh yeah South Carolina." Which is fine because that's nothing impressive except they didn't mention we play #2 KU on the road.

How loud was Rupp when Willis hit that corner 3 near the end of the half?

Place was bonkers. Especially since it was right after Ricky's technical. That would be put back dunk from Skal would have blown the roof off the place. :100points:

I don't know if Pitino flipped the crowd off or not, it sure as hell looked like he did, but I do find it incredible how far the local media is willing to go to give him the benefit of the doubt just minutes after he blew them all off after the biggest game they cover all year.

Rick's hands are very tiny. That's funny.

If zombie aids syphilis doesn't get him, I say he dies with his shrimpy pecker in hand and a noose around his neck.
