Maybe Todd shouldn't be acting like a redneck at the game. Par for the course for someone named Todd I guess.

-Congrats to Louisville on their second big win of the year - a loss to a ranked team.

-Game seemed like it lasted 5 years. Freaking roller coaster. Happy, angry, REALLY angry, really happy, halftime, REALLY HAPPY, angry, angry, livid, happy, furious, exhale . . . happy.

-Was at the game. Rupp was loud, but not an all-timer IMO. Maybe if 73 had been there. I'm horse.

-I blame myself for Murray's game. When I met him Wednesday I should have gone all bradyjames on him and given him some obvious unsolicited advice about not being a GD MORON the entire game.

-Rick DEFINITELY flicked the birdie. Such a Louisville Man.

-Would be in Skal's best interests to fake an injury, go film some grainy footage against junior high kids and try to get drafted. Or come back next year and get buried on the bench, and MAYBE make an impact as a junior. When he FINALLY got a board, then couldn't even make a pass to Ulis, I lost it. He has the physical tools to be a lotto pick, man man he needs some work. And a pair of balls.

-Ulis. What a stud. Even his TO's were ********. Warrior.

-Cal. Uggh. Some of his decisions are mindboggling.

-We won. All that really matters for now.

-Typical big game crowd, not an all-timer but "big game Rupp" isn't all that common anymore so it was certainly a treat to be there.

-Skal is infuriating. The two times he did positive things he immediately touched it up. "Atta boy Skal keep it up, way to get the bal- WHAT THE EFF IS WRONG WITH YOU CHRIST". Murray needs to never bring the ball up ever again. Let him get open and pass it to him to fire off shots, and nothing else. If the shot isn't there, do NOT dribble, just get rid of it and try again.

-Not gonna lie, I've been in a major basketball funk since the final four loss. Just have had a hard time caring about games, haven't kept up with gyero... That loss fundamentally changed something inside me and made me reassess just how seriously I take a damn game. Today was the first time since then that I've gone bonkers and lost my mind. Felt good to be back. I like the flawed ******* sports fan version of myself. Still doubt that I ever let myself get as emotionally invested as I was last year, what with wisdom and getting older and all that BS... But life is better with sports and thinking they matter.

-In all seriousness, if anyone wants a 3 year old 100 lb golden retriever let me know. Until he tried to murder my dog he was a great household pet, well trained and obedient. Has a seizure disorder which is controlled with meds but otherwise has been low maintenance. He has never shown the slightest bit of aggression to people, nor to big dogs, but obviously shouldn't be around small dogs.

*Rupp was fantastic. Up there with the all-timers IMO and I've been to most of them.

*Knew when Pitino called a TO down 16 that we were about to go into an offensive funk. Will never understand why Cal doesn't tell them to keep going to the basket after breaking the press. Infuriating.

*Still think we see something from Skal this year. At least he hit his damn free throws. Just needs some confidence.

*By my count, Rick now 5-12 against UK. That's ****** and I like it.

You know who is happy? This guy? Screw UofL. Had the joy of blowing them out of the water, AND ripping their hearts out all in one. Their fans collectively are the worse. You'll never get a friendlier road whistle than they got, and they still blame the refs. Also, screw the ******** that after the football game talked a bunch of trash, then after this game ***** about UK fans doing the same. Learn rivalries, you vaginas.

I think clearly it was a fist pump by Pitino. I mean, it makes total sense for the moment right? Freaking morons.

Now I need some more scuttlebutt about hookers.

In conclusion, screw UofL.

If that was a 'fist pump', it was the most effeminate fistpump in the history of fistpumps. His "I was saying #1" is more plausible, but also completely false. And his assertion that people were saying ugly things to him is SUCH a Pitino move. Lies about his reaction, then attempts to justify it, by of course lying. I didn't hear anything vulgar on the video. And guess what Ricky - if you heard anything vulgar, it was only people making fun of the vulgar actions of your program.

Gonna be a long ACC season, you puss.

I thought it was pretty clear when he said, "I was saying we're #1" that he was admitting to it.
Thought the same. But as I said on Twitter, those guys embrace this ****. It's in their DNA. No shame.

Just wait and see they will not put themselves on a tournament ban this year because they have a chance but hopefully it hurts them later and they get another year added to it.

I'm just waiting to see if the ACC fines him for his halftime comments regarding the officiating. Coaches have definitely been fined for less.

Kind of perfect symmetry to most likely his last game in Rupp as UofL's coach. He ended his career as UK's coach in Rupp in a similar, "I'm a little *****" manner losing to USCjr on Senior Day

Damn, 4 episodes deep in Making a Murderer...wow. guess I'm just happy it didn't happen in KY.

Great energy in Rupp today, think I'm just relieved and happy to have survived. Kudos to Ulis, Poy, Marcus, and Hawkins...mixed emotions on Murray, wanted to strangle him but then he nails a huge 3. Skal can sit at the end of the bench...the Lumberjack gonna redshirt?

We're #1, hilarious. Strong work TMFH.

can't get over how blooperish murray was today. my favorite was the almost rushed 3 that he kinda/sorta shot/held onto/passed to himself. that was awesome.

ulis is amazing, and 73 can't get pumped. role player. i very rarely, actually NEVER drag out silly arguments for months at a time, but ill make an exception here. just this once.

skal is comparatively better facing the basket than any #1 big calipari has had here, so you'd think an up tempo/guard oriented team would play into his hands. ugh. he's unplayable at this point.

this is why we will never "get" alex poythress. he was unstoppable today, and flat out embarrassed louisvilles front court. all of them. out worked them. exploited positioning. more athletic and strong. more of that, please.

Poythress defended that last 3 by Lee masterfully. If he had hit that I'm not sure what more you could do.

1. That doesn't look like a travel.

2. What exactly is anyone trying to prove by recording and posting what they thing is a travel on a last second shot that was missed?

Two Harris mistakes:

1) 1-9

2) Todd Harris concedes, "It looks more like a fist (on video). I don't think there's any view that saw it definitively."

^ This is your chance to go all in and leave no doubt it was the bird, but you blew it, you gave the weasel an out.

If the scuttlebutt is true and Rick is going to "retire" at the end of the season before UofL self-imposes penalties, I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see more IDGAF attitude from Pitino. The man is clearly off his rocker anyway with how delusional he is. I could basically see him giving a giant "eff you" retirement tour.
