UL is a dang good team, but if they are able to come up with one more reliable scorer to compliment Lee and Lewis they'll be downright dangerous. Don't know if Mitchell is that guy or not. That will end up being a big win in our corner come Selection Sunday.

Louisville is going to lose ten or more. They had nothing but cupcakes except for us and Sparty, and when your schedule sets up like that, you can get sky high for those two isolated games. Once conference play starts and nearly every game presents a real challenge that you can't continually get sky high for, you'll see them drop a few head-scratchers. They're a 5 or a 6-seed, best case.

Based on what I've seen so far I am going to say we finish at 24-7 in the regular season. Probably end up as a 3 seed.

the idiots who fall for the "cut and paste some stupid message in your Facebook status so you can maybe win like a bajillion dollars from warren buffett/bill gates/mark zuckerberg/etc" are bad enough, but the ones who precede such post with:

"welp, doing this JUST IN CASE" are a whole other breed of stupid.

like adam, for example.

good luck, buddy. you never know!!! and fyi, ive got a 40% off coupon at krogers. gimme your email and ill hook you up!!
Read it, idiot

Speaking of Mitchell, he was terrific. His +/- was something like +20, IIRC. He's gonna be a thorn in a bunch of ppl's sides for years to come.

Looked to be an athletic, undersized 3 right now but he was all over the place. Plays above the rim, crashes the glass, good defender. If he gets a jumper, he'll be a load. Was rly impressed with him.

-Marcus is just such a luxury. Great kid, all hustle, knows his role. Struggled a bit when Onuaku got deep but that's going to happen.

-LOVED LOVED small ball with Poythress as our big. If I'm not mistaken that was our run.

-That scout did go to far. Ridiculous comment. You want to attack one of ours, then F*CK YOU. GET PUMPED. Village burned.

<----Biggest Skal fan in the world right now. I want NJIT Skal. That Skal was a thing of beauty.

-Mitchell, Spalding and King is a nice little core for those guys moving forward. We'll see how everything falls into place after the sanctions.

Rick is just such a great coach. You can tell the dude just buried himself in coaching much like after the Sypher stuff. Got these dudes playing above their head.

-How much did Briscoe hurt/help us? I've been wondering about him in our offense, like some others expressed recently. His D was obviously missed. Perfect to slide over on Lewis.

how many regurgitated jon scott stats do we need to convince you that ulis is a badass? (and andrew harrison was not)

So Andrew Harrison sucked?

Career 10/3/4 Average
67-12 Record
2 Final Fours
1 National Runner-Up
1 SECT Championship
2nd Round Draft Pick

You bash me for getting on Tyler Ulis. Well, I'll do the same to you for Andrew Harrison. The Harrison Era was quite successful if I remember.

Also, warms my heart to see Forde sitting upper deck media deck. Just knowing he's fumming for being stuck up there is glorious.

*WTF is up with the Packers? This is Kentucky Football-esque. Godspeed to Chesters puppy.

Andrew or Tyler, it's still very hard to overcome John. Gotta have a very special team to do so. We will next year.

also probably had the worst shooting % of any multi year starter ever. he wasn't that great.

ill take that scouts assessment of skal a lot more seriously once the nba quits drafting every 7 footer who can walk and chew gum at the same time in the 1st round.

73 loves andrew harrison :joy:

The thing about the Skal stuff and the scout: Skal didn't promote himself as one of the top players in the country. The scouts did. "You aren't as great as we said you were; you're overrated you piece of trash." That's just bullcrap. Criticize his game, his motor...but not be so personal. Skal is a great kid. I love when Cal defends his players.

Reese Philips didn't really have anything good to say about Stoops on his way out. What the hernia going on down there. 1 QB on scholarship is not a good position to be in.

How does a team with as much positive momentum as we had end up going to **** in the locker room? Not good.

Depressing.

And then we lose a stud DL commit today, too. Huge blow in a crucial area of need. With Melvin Lewis moving on we'll have Elam at NT --- that's it. Not the most encouraging thing for those hoping to put a respectable SEC unit on the field next fall. Ugh.

"Coach Stoops practically hung up on me when I said I was transferring."

"Coach Dawson was the best, I would have stayed if he stayed..."

Oh well, good luck kid. Are we cheering for this cork soaker like Patty Ice?

Losing *** quarterbacks support a losing *** terrible offensive coordinator? Color me surprised.

Talking about UK football this deep into basketball season is bad juju

Spent most of yesterday working on the fitness room. Put in a 6x8' foam floor for weights and a bench. Got some dumbbells. Hooked up the amazon fireTv, got all my apps running. Must say, I like the Fire better than the apple tv so far.

Hit the treads at 530am this morning. It's the dawn of a new era.

Anth feel free to stop by and use the weights, the lass has a some 5 and 10 pounders that may work for you. Clean showers too.

-Very happy at YouFit. Those weights should sell nicely on craigslist in a month or two though.

-I HATE treadmill running. HATE.

-Weekend was a blur. Work, to Lou, home late, game, back to Lou mixed in with Jr deciding he was going to wake up every 2.5 hours for the past week.

Ok, not that it matters but I'm willing to give Stoops the benefit of the doubt after reading Phillips actual quote. What a little *****.

im more and more pissed off at stoops every day. you may think it's out of line to call out your former coach, but it's clear he had no control over the locker room, and there was a huge divide between he and dawson.

im sorry, but i put that on the hnic. can you imagine any great/seasoned coach allowing a rogue 1st year assistant to sabotage an entire season?? ugh.

I agree with that. Hopefully this house cleaning is the solution.

Also, isn't Gunner enrolling in January?

Gunner is supposed to enroll in January.

So if our RS sophomore QB goes down, sucks balls, or gets suspended for more knuckleheaded dumbassery, we have a true freshman to step in.

It doesn't matter. We'll find a way to turn the season into hot garbage juice anyway.

Fu*k. I say put JoJo back there if Barker goes down. Only likeable dude on the damn team.

-Goon is decent if you're hard up for a movie and not looking for full attention. I guess Family Stone was pretty good, better than Love Actually, but something about it bothered me.

-7p Saturday game. GLORIOUS.
