What places like Ramsey's do to the Hot Brown is disgusting. It's not meant to be covered underneath 2 lbs. of melted cheese. A Hot Brown is meant be covered with a creamy mornay sauce (gruyere only) and not a block of sharp cheedar.

Any HVAC experts in here? Trying to determine what makes my furnace unleash Satan's fury into my house when I bump the thermostat from 69 to 70 degrees.

Kinda correct. Many Mornays contain Swiss/Gruyere, Parm, or both -- but The Brown's Recipe (the creator) contains no Gruyere at all.

And yes, Ramsey's sucks.

- Hardest part about working out? Getting to the gym. Few here are trying to look like Laron Landry. Just keep making yourself go until it becomes habit. Obviously, that's much more difficult and less of a priority for parents.

Exactly, so far #TEAMBOATFITNESS, #HOMEGYM is off to a good start in 2016.

Hope trips to Vegas and Nola don't derail progress.

I don't talk about it I be about it. :fire:

Jan/Feb is when I disappear under my fleece & 10-15lbs of winter weight, and then show up in March looking pretty decent & tan. I have this system down like 4 flats.

I have put on an astounding 14 lbs since September 21st. That is a lot of hard work. :bread::pizza::beer::burger::cheers2::cookie::fries::popcorn::flush:

And it's all belly fat. I'm not sure eating like WettCat at White Castle 5x per week could do much better.

I might be ready for the "before" picture this weekend if my wife is willing to shave my back.

The Beuamont Inn in Harrodsburg is the best Hot Brown I've ever had and I've had them in many places. And you are right it is oh so rich and I can only eat maybe twice a year.

Why do you need to to pay top $ for a DIV 1 athlete to train you when you aren't going to become a D1 athlete?

Is it that hard to get a 4 day workout with weights and cardio and have self motivation? All for $10 a month at most places in 2016?

Yes, it is for me, no problems admitting it... It's not like your running plays and prepping for games.

It's a kickass workout and for someone like me who needs the accountability it's perfect

You have to wonder if Kansas is playing it's best ball they will play all year now. Kind of like last year we were never better then in December unfortunately.

I've seen Kansas look like juggernauts many, many times during the regular season. Hell, they're easily the #1 regular season program over the last 25 years.

Absolutely. I struggle this time of year not drinking. Being cold outside and games on make me want a beer, glass of wine or brown water. Same with the diet.

-Jesus Christ, Fitness 19 across the street from my gym doesn't have showers. I wanted something at $10 or less. Since I go at lunch I'd rather not return to work sweaty and stinking. WTF, man? Find another topic.

-Game last night was amazing. Sad it interrupted The Bachelor. Goodness, just shot after shot on dead legs.

-Mini hot brown>>>>hot brown. Whoever said Ramsey's and the like go overboard with the cheese sauce is dead on.

- Really starting to enjoy winter. The cold temps don't bother me as much as the lack of sun. But a day like today and this past Saturday and Sunday when the sun is full blast amongst a clear blue sky are beautiful.

Went for a run on Saturday mng. It was cold but the sun was so bright. My body temp heated me up as my run progressed. Hit a runner's high.

Saturdays in the winter are awesome. Get up early, do some cleaning, enjoy a solid workout/steam and then plan the rest of the day/night around the Cats. Build a fire and pop número uno mid to late afternoon.

- It's goes without saying that LSU is going to come out playing on fire tonight. The coon asses will be all fired up in the crowd bc football season is over. This would be a really nice win. My sister lives down near Baton Rouge and she will be in attendance cheering on the Cats. This is always an adventure for her. She lives/works and is surrounded by LSU fans 365. They really get to her. She gets so much non stop **** about our football program from LSU fans so she marks the basketball program as her one day a year bragging right. Two years ago when we lost she and some LSU fan who was giving her the business about losing in basketball and sucking in football were escorted out with 3:00 left. She called in sick the next day to not face the music. Last year her husband made her watch the game in the concourse for the 2nd half. She and a LSU fan co-worker were sent home from work early one day bc LSU fan kept calling Cal a lying cheater & she wouldn't take it.

- Guess we will rotate Lee, Poythress and one of the guards on Simmons?

Love when Richie breaks down his Saturday routine. Usually will 2-3x per year.

-People who "give up" drinking in January or February are ********. If they're going to participate in such a childish endeavor, they need to also stay TF home until they deem themselves ready to participate in society again. I don't want to hear about it and I certainly don't care to be around their sober personas.

I'm trying to slow down personally. I almost never drink "too much" at once but it's probably more than I should be drinking and it makes me sleep like absolute ****. Really need to clean my life up.
