I like Murray, but yes, he does do some stupid ****. He at least is a competitor. I'll take him on my squad.

Ulis didn't have his A game last night, but was still very good. He needs to look for his shot even more aggressively.

Right now I absolutely hate Skal and Briscoe. They hurt us when they are on the floor.

What we got from the big Aussie in the Duke game was apparently fool's gold. He is awful on both ends of the floor.

Everytime Willis gets extended clock, he shows me why he doesn't play more. Grow a sack, rebound and play a little D. His scoring is needed.

Mulder needs more minutes, IMO. His defense last night was no worse than Briscoe or Murray's. He can shoot and rebound.

Matthews was hot garbage last night. I don't know why it took so long to get him in the game, but I know why he didn't play more. Awful.

Poythress and Lee were not the veteran leaders we needed last night. They were complete dogshit.

Poythress is what he is. An inconsistent player with flashes of brilliance and flashes of diarrhea.

Lee has been our consistent energy guy, shot blocker, rebounder and clean up specialist. We can't win when he plays like he did last night. 5 fouls in 5 minutes? Touch you.

The look of disgust that Kenny Payne shot at Poythress and Lee each time they had to be taken out of the game was well deserved. I hope he punched them in the locker room.

The frosh will get better. But our starting front court is made up of a Sr and a Jr.

If you aren't worried about this season, you are an idiot.

D.F.S. high rollers similarly come with demands, and because there’s no powerful regulatory body involved, DraftKings and FanDuel have been mostly free to set the parameters of play, which, as it turns out, is near anarchy, especially for the D.F.S. elite. High rollers want to be able to use third-party computer scripts that will allow them to enter thousands of lineups at once, something that your average player cannot do. High rollers can gain access into D.F.S.’s inner circle, in which they get to be on first-name, texting basis with executives and employees at DraftKings and FanDuel. They can operate under the cover of plausible deniability — if other players complain that the high roller has been using tools that destroy competitive balance, he might expect the sites to stick up for him.

The difference between the D.F.S. high roller and the blackjack whale, of course, is that the whale is trying to take millions from a multinational casino corporation and not from the honeymooners from Fresno who are betting away at the $5 tables.

This time next week I assume Max and WCC will be sporting similar tats after AJ takes them to the promised land (divisional round).

This is setting up to be an all time awful sports week for ol' MaxPowerrr.

Good thing I got some good fried chicken news tho.

No doubt. By 11:30 Saturday night, after UK loses on the road to Bama at 6:00 followed by the Steelers beating the Bengals at 8:30, I may kill someone.

Also, would everyone please stop pointing any blame at our guards. This team has one glaring problem, and its Skal. Its actually impressive what Murray and Ulis are able to accomplish considering we play outside out because our top 2 player in the class, top 5 draft pick Haitian piece of **** sucks so bad that teams clog the lane and make them shoot jumpers.

This team needs a rim protector, a rebounder and a scorer in the post. Skal offers none of that. He's a loser and I hope he stays in the top 5 or 10 so is loser earthquake surviving *** can get the hell out of Lexington. Last night he summed up exactly who he is when the 7 foot "athletic freak" missed a wide open finger roll, had Murray rebound his air balled finger roll only to have it pinned to the backboard, followed by a half court alley-oop to Simmons.

Skal is trash. So people like TSK coming on here saying he's not a bust yet, and that his 9 point, 3 rebound outing in which he fouled out in 14 minutes was a "step in the right direction," please STFU. The kid is a bust, he will never contribute here and its why we suck. Plain and simple.

Skal #5 in the draft express mock released yesterday.

Speaking of 5th overall draft picks, Boogie becomes first player in almost 20 years to get 35/15/10 in a game. Threw in 6 steals for good measure (went to double OT but still :fire:)

Skal being a bust has just thrown the rest of Cal's parts completely out of whack. I mean in HOFCJVC I trust and all but that's gonna take more than a "tweak"* imo.

* unless the "tweak" is Skal getting hooked on crystal meth, aka "tweaking" and playing like a banshee on fire. Just not sure his anatomy can handle that.

The more I think about Briscoe, the madder I get.

He's freaking 18-51 from the FT line (35%). That's unbelievable.

[laughing]

It's unreal.

I say Cal should make him shoot all the Technical FT's going forward like he made Demarcus do in 2010. Merely as a novelty of 'WTF'.

Stallings is weird. He's GREAT at building teams, and getting them to play great during that process...

...then when the team is built, and primed for their best year together, they bust. This has happened like 5 times in his tenure there.

The Kornet injury hurt them, but damn.

Yeah, but the 10 was turnovers. He did have 4 assists.

Another 1 & done 5th year grad transfer to ***** U

In turn, Hicks said the ongoing NCAA investigation into allegations against Louisville's basketball program did come up in his thought process, but none of it was enough to deter him from the Cards.

"It did (come up). It absolutely did," Hicks said. "But, at the same time, it's Louisville. It's Coach Pitino. It's the ACC. They honestly don't feel that anything will happen -- at the most, (lose) a few scholarships, which won't impact me much.

"(Pitino) felt absolute worst-case scenario is no (NCAA tournament). If that were to happen, that wasn't a dealbreaker. I felt comfortable with it. I really just felt like they won't get punished too bad. It was something nobody who is there now had known about."

^ he's ate up. Ripping through all the ones I got him for Christmas.

To be fair, Nashville Hot Chicken isn't anything like normal 'spicy' Fried Chicken (Indi's, etc). It's semi-wet, and coated in a spicy paste.

The cult following is pretty funny, but it's indeed delicious.

It's actually a great redemption tale since the devastating flood from a few years ago. I was certain the great Tennessee city would not recover. Kudos to Sloot for being so courageous. #nashvillestrong

they've had a tough time finding enough shiny happy white evangelical christian hitler youth white people in order to adequately staff the place. glad they finally got their act together.

I don't know if it's still the case, but Chick Fil A's policy used to be if you wanted to open one, you had to be there running it. You couldn't just put together a group of investors and open ten of them. Managing the location had to be your primary job. That's why there's still not that many locations.
