I would also add that Cal is more than happy to go into prevent offense in the last ten minutes of a game if we are up 12+. One of my biggest Cal gripes ==> go coach the Nets, jackass!

Most of the games in the 2012 tourney, I think we won by the same margin (or less) that we were ahead like 8 minutes into the game. Basically stopped playing offense vs WKU. Same against ISU. IU and UL were probably closer games we had to finish, but Baylor and KU were more of the same. Jump on top. Teague dribble dribble dribble. Win game by 12.

Worshiped Derek Anderson....he was the gd Michael Jordan of college basketball during the 96-97 season. I remember sitting in my dorm with ESPN on when the news of his injury came across the screen. I was a gd freshman in college with tears in his eyes over it. Looking back it probably was the most devastating moment of my UK fandom.

I appreciate Facebook reminds me of everyone's birthday and the memories thing is kinda neat, but what I'd really like is a reminder 6 months after the CUTTING UP MY VEGGIES #CLEANEAT2016 MEAL PLANNING NO GMO posts in January to see how that's going.

I want to get in on the 73 bashing, but is anyone else just really hating BBdK right now? It's like I want to reach through my screen and just backhand him something good. Oh well. It will fade, I guess.

What the heck is wrong with BBdK these days? Feel like I don't even know that dude anymore.

I remember so fondly wanting that Bengals starter jacket in 1994. I asked for it, begged for it, but it was just so expensive my parents would say. It was in october, and I was hoping maybe I could get my Bengals starter coat for xmas. Put it on the list, pointed at it every time we were at the store. I remember looking at the poorly wrapped fluffy present under the tree for like 3 weeks, imagining how much cooler I'd look then those douchebag Oakland Raiders bandwagon wearing kids.

And then it happened, xmas day I unwrapped my present to reveal my wonderful, brand new......apex new orleans saints jacket. Noticing my confused look my mom informed me that "the apex was much cheaper and I really thought you'd like the gold colors". For the next 3 months I'd walk the halls in junior high to people yelling "Saints suck!" as I passed them buy.

Aaaahh, to have foreign parents.

So, I may have a gym (a school) opening up in a week or two with the help of a GYERO wife.

How many (lurkers as well) would be interested, for REAL. Mondays ideal? 7? 8?

...and would you snobs be willing to drive to Shively? :D

Michigan really killed the apparel game back then. Their Starter and Nike gear was legit. I stayed strong, though, and hated those MFers.

Michigan and UNC ruled the apparel world. I secretly loved the argyle.

Wish all the teams didn't wear the exact same **** now. That's so lame.

Shew...

K.
If it's Greenbelt, which I'm not even sure is really even considered Shively, then it's right on Cane Run. Be careful over there. Cane Rune after dark isn't really an area I'd frequent.

Out greenbelt a mile it's just fine.

Also, watch the Shively talk. I was born and raised there. With a brief couple years in NORTH Bullitt County/Okolona.

That's dope.

Anybody else want to be a hockey fan so you can occasionally rock a sweater? Always wanted one. Red wings, Blackhawks, kings, ducks...I think I would really enjoy being a hockey ball. The ice. The fights. The sourly nature of the fans. It just seems right.

In, Wodie.

Let's do 7:00. I hate eating before I play and this way I can be home by 8:30 or so to eat dinner and be in bed by 9:30.

Enjoy going to bed early on Mondays.

Nah...it's 5-7 minutes off the Watterson at that time of night.

Lol, sure thing Richie. Any other ways we can customize the experience for you?

I'm up and down Greenbelt every day of my life...that area is fine, and the school in question is where our friend teaches.

Corner of Rockford/Cane Run. Farnsley
