Joeys kid has probably never ridden in a car because he found an Internet company that will mail your kid places via a drone and it's better for his development long term

I *never* get gas until the light comes on. I'm way too busy to stop and get gas until I "have" to. Getting gas is a top 5 worst part of living in a first world country. They need to improve the whole experience.

I don't like the toboggans with the roll over layer. I'm currently wearing a top of the line crochet beanie just like my main man, ZB.

Watched maybe 15m of the game last night. This team is so boring. Like a foot long sub without any sauce.

What kind of car seat do you have in that little thing?
We have a Chicco KeyFit 30, which will fit per car seat and FIAT message boards, but I've never taken him in it. We take my wife's mom-mobile whenever the kid is being chauffeured somewhere.

I did double-check to make sure it would fit and couldn't get it past the front seat. I thought I was going to have to go through the hatch with one seat down, but it turned out that the seat was just stuck on a hat.

Daycare is 1/4 mile from our house, so I've walked him home with a stroller a couple of times that I had to pick him up.

I generally leave the backseats down and covered with a blanket and only transport golf clubs and my dog back there.

- ****** part about this team is they looked damn good much of the game and were anything but boring- crisp zone offense, good tight OTB defense, nice shooting...but a few guys didn't even show up and the team as a whole came and went.

- Just have to hope everything eventually comes together and we get a good draw for once. We could be dangerous with our guards. I wouldn't want to see Ulis/Murray looking at me in a bracket.

- Besides BBdK and Claire Danes, I don't know if there's anyone whom I go more back-and-forth on than Doug Gottlieb. I tend to like him, but he's such a contrarian bastard he's hard to stomach at times. Dude was excellent on Jones' podcast (which is outstanding imo), though.

- Wish Joey was another southern frat boy type who bragged more. imo

- Not surprisingly, B Rax's beanie take is ridiculous.

- Would like to take the lass down to a Saturday game one of these days.

- How much personal drama at work does the average female deal with on a daily basis?

- Has anyone checked on Lapham this week?

Do any of you drive around with the empty light on at all? Do you even ever let it get to that point? Always fill up completely at the tank? How many times have you run out of gas in your life? All really stupid things to do, but you know, humans are dumb.
My wife is the only person I know that has run out of gas multiple times. The last time was on the way home from her parents on a Saturday night while I was chilling at home. I get the call "The car broke down on the freeway. Come get me!" Evidently she called her dad too. So I get on the freeway and get stuck in a huge traffic jam. Sat there for like 2 hours and get the call that her dad got her some gas car is is fine! By the time I get home she is fast asleep. :chairshot:

Now she has a car that screams at her if there is 50 miles or less in the tank and has not run out of gas since. But she notoriously comes home and I'll go to drive her car somewhere and I get you have 2 miles left in the tank. Nearest station is 2 miles from the house.....

Guess gauge stopped working in my first car when I was 16 after the fuel pumped was changed. Ran out of gas quite a bit over the course of the year. Pretty much became a thing, good times.

Started The Man in the High Castle. Not sure what I think yet.

You have to be an absolute idiot to run out of gas.

I've done it twice.

Once was on the 471 (Big Mac) Bridge at 3am. That was fun.

The General at the base lectured us all on keeping our gas tanks at least half full in Florida. Evidently when hurricanes roll in and people evacuate, traffic jams are common and some low tank havers run out...supply gets exhausted....guess it just stuck.

Would feel pretty stupid running out. That's on you brah.

- Ran out of gas once when I was 17, the guage didn't work on my first car but I had a pretty good idea of how much was in there, suprised I didn't run out more often in the 2 years I drove that thing

- Need a new truck, mine is an extended cab but is older than the invention of rear doors which will make it obsolete once I have to secure RC in his seat

- Dog gagged and barfed until about 2 am last night, I hardly slept, poor dude is getting old

- One of the best parts about working around downtown is bum fights

- The story about the Oregon militia douchers getting mad because people keep sending them *****'s is hilarious

For fear of the expense I went 2 years without functioning windshield wipers on my last car. No movement at all. I got by on Rain-X and the Lord's grace. Didn't have any health insurance at the time, either.

Turns out the wiper arm was just missing a small bolt and it was a quick, virtually free fix by my mechanic. :raised_hands:

Quick question. Is PTI just trolling us now on Facebook? I know he has turned into a terrible poster on here, but he can't be serious on Facebook can he?

" OK guys, just ran 10 miles, now what terribly unhealthy place should I eat at to cancel it out?"

The post is then followed by 30 replies from nerdy runners with Indian names.
"Go to bojangles Casey, lolz"
"Don't do it casey, you can come eat with my family, hope you like curry"
"NO, eat healthy Casey, its why we long distance run"
"I'm coming over now to have an intervention with you"

All signed by putna, and Raj.
What a ***

Speaking of Lawrence Phillips, it's entirely possible that we saw the greatest teams ever in 3 different sports in a 9 month span in 1995-96: Nebraska, UK and the Bulls.

Crazy thing, this "sports."

What's the opposite of "rest in peace"? Rest in agony? Torment? Suffering?
I always figured it was essentially just saying you don't want the deceased haunting anyone. Rest in Peace as in "Please don't walk the earth in torment looking for your lost love/treasure/head/vengeance."

Pretty chill sentiment if you ask me. Hope I rest in peace.

I've only seen 1 in the 8 or so months I've been here, of course I'm next to the police station.

In the year and a half I've been married I'm almost positive my wife has yet to put gas in her car on her own. Granted, the only places she consistently goes on her own are work and her parents house which are both less than 2 miles away. At this point though any time she willingly suggest we take her car I just assume the gas tank is sitting on about an 1/8 of a tank.

So you drive a $50,000 BMW SUV with $500 Italian loafers, but you forgo windshield wipers and health insurance. Of course you did, have to keep up that " I'm a man of the middle class" persona.
You're really showing them you are a real man of the people Brooks.

- Lottery talk- how topical!

- Man, can't believe it's been 7 years since Meeks dropped FITTY-FO. Look how far we've come.

- BBdK, you don't have to bring up cousin Wade every day. Loser.
Just stopped at publix here in Ft Myers to buy a powerball ticket. The guy in front of me bought FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS worth of powerball tickets, Paid for in hundred dollar bills.

Lurker, will GTFO

-Found an answer to BBdK's lotto question a few days back. Stores that sell lotto get 5% of what they sell. Pretty easy money.

-I've put up with non-functioning wipers because I always screw up and buy the wrong sizes or then can't figure out how to get them on the car. I just then send my wife to auto zone and she just gets them to do it.

Uh. No. This was 2009-2010. The car was worth less than half your quoted amount (and was paid off). I was in my first two years as a commission-only commercial real estate broker, had no money, no guarantee of income, and certainly no $500 Italian loafers. This was during the peak of the country's greatest recession in history, as well.

My bad for making a little bit of money since those days, though. Seriously.
