So Red White and Boom is on labor day weekend, and the USM football game? Pass on both those turds, I'll be on my boat.

Had all the powerball numbers, just not on the same line. Damnit.

Alan Rickman was best in Die Hard, second Robin Hood.

4 days till Vegas, giggity.

Hope Anth finds a nice meal.

Also for Lexington peeps, the Chew dinner series is a good time, so you should probably look into that. The wife and I have done it (hahahahhaa) 3 times and we've enjoyed it each time. Thanks and God bless.

Just go to Sotto or Boca, Anth. Jesus Christ learn I know what the f*** I'm talking about.
I mean you can go try to find somewhere more obscure, but you'd be doing it wrong.

OTOH do you like Mexican? There's a new burrito place in Covington, made fresh in front of your face and has sort of a river view called Chipotle. Or just get a tub of Graeter's on Fountain Square- after you pop into the local Rock Bottom Brewery of course.

Forget the name of the place but some time ago we had a decent meal at a place on Walnut and 6th.
Clark, I'm sorry to break this to you, but I'm pretty sure you were just eating bag of Indi's that a Louisvillian left on Metrobot's foot to escape a spray of hollow-points.

Sadly, that is the only conceivable way to have a "decent meal" in Losantiville.

Well yeah, so give me a few pretentious places to take my wife for a nice meal since we've been out alone to eat once in the past 6 months.

There are 50 restaurants within walking distance of the hotel you stay at, buddy. Just Google Cincy's Most Expensive Restaurants and a dozen of them will be a 5-minute walk. Jesus Christ.

ill tell you what would suck. someone going out of town and not being able to find a historically fantastic meal. how could you live with yourself?

My problem is always that I can find a good expensive meal but the service is bad, OR great service but for a marginal inexpensive meal. LIFE SUCKS.

We went to Macho Nacho the other night and it was perfectly adequate. They had electronic devices to distract the children while the grown-ups drank margaritas, though, so that bumps it up to FIVE STARS.

I've become a big fan of Buffalo Wings and Rings, a) because it's the Target to BW3s Wal Mart and b) for the "come on in we'll give your kid an iPad" policy UCL mentioned.

I mean the food's OK I guess.

yelp reviews crack me up.

if I had won the powerball last night, II probably would have spent a good deal of my new-found leisure time doing mock yelp reviews.

"Was in town visiting friends and really enjoyed my time in Cincinnati. However, this night we went out and I got to pick- and I really wanted sushi. I was disappointed to say the least. This was nothing like the fresh sushi I'm used to back in Seattle. As such, Hissho Sushi in the Independence Kroger only gets 2 stars."

Other than Ruby's and Metropole is there anywhere decent in Downtown Cincy to have a nice meal?

*I would prefer something that doesn't require a bullet proof vest.

Ate at Mita a few weeks ago, new Salazaar place. It was unreal. However, its like a month wait to get in. But it was worth it.

Boca and Sotto are also both top of the line with badass atmospheres.

how big of a self important dbag do you have to be to submit detailed yelp recommendations?

I submitted one for a Burger King once when I had to wait 8+ minutes for my chicken fries for the 3rd straight time that week and while waiting observed an African american male employee making out with his friend and smoking a cigarette outside the door (multitasking at its finest) I spit out the review in 5-6 minutes so it was finished before the brought out my food. Only yelp review I have ever left. Mostly out of boredom.

You had it coming for eating chicken fries 3x in one week.

what sort of ignorant asshat logs onto social media in order to get a recommendation about a fast food restaurant? and a piss poor one at that.

"gee, i wonder what the foodie nerds in topeka have to say about this bq broiler."
