While Murray is indeed playing very well, he's definitely more one-dimensional than I would have thought. He's pretty much just a sniper...which is fine.
There is definitely something to Richie's season-long gripe of him not being able to really beat his man. He's really fast & athletic in transition, but not so much in the half court -- think a lot of it is his overall dribbling/movement style & posture, but he certainly seems to have trouble really getting anywhere or past his man at this point, whereas the less-athletic Briscoe can get anywhere he wants, at any time.
-Briscoe's left hand is just awesome...he LOVES doing that fake crossover move, where the ball never switches hands and stays in his left throughout the drive from the wing...keep wondering when defenders will pick up on this, or when he'll go Hawkins and break someone's ankle. He's so damn smooth with the ball, and probably the best layup finisher we've had. He finally missed one last game, and it was almost shocking.
