I think our starting QB is signing at 4:00... This dude is legit. I've been clammoring for Barker since he was a Freshman... But this dude is gonna take the job from him

How many do you think Maryland would drop on us at College Park? Only 95? Kansas may beat us by 40 in two weeks. We aren't all that much better than the three teams who have beaten us so far. Losing today would be a bad loss.

Besides, the original discussion was not about whether or not it was a bad loss, but rather how we lost to the same team that had lost to UT-Arlington and the argument was teams play better against us than they do against the UT-Arlingtons of the world. See OSU's 7 made first half 3s and 9/18 from 3 for the game while shooting 33% for the year.

Can't wait for Barker to be just good enough not to lose the job until about week 6 when the team splits into factions and the WRs who support this exciting new QB start dropping passes on purpose. Sounds like a real hoot.

We could honestly lose. Hell, we almost blew a 20 point lead against Mississippi State at Rupp Arena. If Auburn is 12th, Miss State is 13th.

Why doesn't he have more interest/offers then?

-Kennard seems to be finding his way. Get used to him...gonna be one of those "forever" players, TS.

-Cats roll today...but if not, just let the cake bake. :fire::fire::fire: (Canty with 30)

Alex/Marcus are due based on the 'every other game' model.

Went to Taft's Ale House today for a beer or two. Was greeted by a hipster server who had the nerve to ask if I wanted a beer plank. Ha. I said sure pal, as long as you can put 5 Miller lites on that piece of artisan wood. He chuckled and said we don't serve that here. Had to restrain myself from grabbing him by the suspenders and punching him in his handlebar mustache.

Anyway, the beers were good. 4/5, would return. Thanks for the rec Gyero.

Happy to get another QB and he could easily pan out but counting on him with such little info known and quotes is like us trusting BCG with Euton and others. Guys a complete unknown with no other real good offers. Hope he's good enough to take the job and anything excites me with UK football but let's slow our roll.

- Key Lime Lager for the dub.

- Irish-Duke is fun. Kennard's a stud and I hate his f'ing guts.

I'll collect crow on Ingram (Geese, Chad?). He's a stud, and not overrated in the least...probably the 2nd best prospect in this draft, in fact.

Thought he'd take a little longer, but you can clearly see "it" with that kid. Freak.

They look/shoot nothing alike of course, but his overall impact/game/specs reminds me of Prince a bit.

-Texas A&M is the best team in the SEC.

Yeah, he's outstanding but if you notice- he really took off at the 4 once Jefferson went down. Wish Cal would buy into smallball PFs. Matchup nightmare.

Murray needs to shoot 3's and layups, easy on the mid range game kid. Was selfish on that last one as Ulis was wide open on the wing.

We aren't even bothering with trying to establish the bigs in the post today.

Alex & Lee are plenty at fault usually, but not always. They had 8 & 9 boards each last game, but everyone, Cal included, said they "didn't show up"

...yet they probably got 5 touches combined. It's not always ALL on them. Not sure how they're supposed to get their expected 18 & 12 apiece when all we do is whip it around and launch 3s.

That ball hasn't TOUCHED the high post or baseline yet, TS

Wynyard.... He is going to help. Is Cal holding him out because he doesn't want to show that hand to Bolden? The easy answer is, no, needs time to learn plays and get in shape. But our front court sucks ***, so I know he would help and it would not surprise me if its recruiting related.

If I were Auburn, as soon as Briscoe got into the paint, I'd just clock him. It's as good as a turnover to send him to the line.
