He really is. From Stoops' $7B buyout to Gillsipie NOT EVEN HAVING A CONTRACT, he's just awful at that part of his job.

No doubt in my mind he'd fall for the Bugs Bunny switcheroo.

Mitch: "I'll pay $35,000 for that vehicle, and not a penny less!"

Car salesman: "Sorry sir, but the absolute best we can do is $40,000."

Mitch: "$35,000!"

Car salesman: "$40,000."

Cal vs Mitch in negotiating isn't even fair. I get the Stoops angst, although I think it's hypocritical to ask for an investment in football then ***** about it, but I don't know how you can really complain about Cal's contract. Especially when we're negotiating against Cavs/Lebron, a Russian Billionaire/Nets, Pelicans, Kings.

I assume Cal is pretty much -> "here's what I want and enjoy it while I'm here. Buyout, um no."
Mitch: "Ok. Done."


The Billy G deal, absolute disaster. Negligent. Awful way of conducting business.

Wonder if Brad wants to walk on at UK. Seems like he's improved a ton and may want to play somewhere like his old man. I mean he's basically experienced the walkon life at UK already anyway. Curious to see what happens with him.

In my humble opinion, if one guard comes back we will either start 3 guards or its Gabriel's job and one of them comes off the bench. More than likely it's Gabriel's position. It would be a pretty big surprise to see Matthews take the spot.

While he's defense sucks the Lee/Poythress experiment is over for me. Spread the court for the guards while using Lee as an energy guy off the bench with no foul concerns.
