I thought you just like lifted the boat up out of the water. I've seen these things in TV. They're like garages for your boat. They utilize simple machines like pulleys and levers to lift your boat out of the water and safely store it. I just assumed any boat worth a **** did this. I'm starting to wonder if Doc Boat is really all he's cracked up to be.

They're hydraulic lifts but they only keep the bottom of your boat clean. They don't really do anything for the roof collapsing and the dock sinking.

although im firmly in the "stick to sports" camp, having trump on the show would be amazing. lots of poor ignorant listeners across the bbn that would eat up his ridiculous message, too.
Agreed, although I'm not sure he has a "message" per se. Kind of a rambling bunch of pieces of messages strewn about. Trump is kind of an stg post come to life, really.

A boat lift wouldn't have helped when the roof caves in. They are good when you are in salt water or you have outboard motors for corrosion purposes. I have inboard vdrives, so it can sit in the water for years before you need to have the bottom repainted. Boat lifts are also expensive as hell (probably 15-20k) for a cruiser like mine.

Glad the AP voters had the balls to keep Oklahoma #1. When Hield is on his A game, don't think there is a better team.

- Oklahoma or UNC #1. Can't argue with either. Although, like Indiana, UNC's conference schedule is backloaded. Hasn't gotten interesting for them yet.

- I would absolutely love Briscoe back as a leader on next year's squad.

- Curious where we sit for Trae Young in the '17 class. Kid can shoot. Little like Tyus Jones.

More or less smoke than Pelini joining the defensive staff? TIA

Good one..

Had Ansley left it would've been in play... Not saying he would've come or that they'd even talked, but it was a strategy to target him and possibly demote DJ, TMFS

not overly concerned. at best, we'll build up a couple months of enthusiasm before the inevitable letdown, where we eventually despise him and cast him off as a terrible hire from the get go.

* I only had 2 Fireballs the other day, so I was good.

* The water fountain isn't even the best white guy on Gonzaga. I'll take Sabonis, thank you very little.

* I went to bed at 6:15 this morning and got up at 7. I was writing scripts all touching night. Been in meetings about them all day and half of them didn't even get looked at. :chairshot:

* WTF? I have a wonderful view of the Embassy Suites out my office window. They are throwing mattresses off the 2nd floor balconies. Lots of furniture lined up outside, too.

Can't tell if they are Mexican or ISIS from this far away.

Update: Just checked… planned renovations. Nothing nefarious.

In the last 20 seasons, Ulis has the most games with at least 20 points and 5 assists with 7. Who is next with 6?

***Stolen from KSR***

Tyler Ulis has six games with at least 20 points and five assists since Christmas. That is six times in eight games, a truly remarkable stretch for the Kentucky point guard.

But just how good is it, historically?

For a little perspective, John Wall didn’t have six 20-point, five-assist games in his 37-game career. What Ulis has done in eight games, Wall couldn’t do in one season. He only did it five times in 2009-10.

In fact, only two players have six 20-point, five-assist games in the last 20 years of Kentucky basketball. Ramel Bradley and Keith Bogans each did it six times over the course of their four-year careers.

Again, Ulis did it six times over the last month — and he has one more from earlier this season to bring his career number to seven. That’s the most in the last two decades in Lexington:

20-point/5-assist games in last 20 years

Tyler Ulis: 7 (55 games played)
Keith Bogans: 6 (135 games played)
Ramel Bradley: 6 (128 games played)
John Wall: 5 (37 games played)

Bradley is correct. Bogans and Wall with 5. ******* is going back too far.

Jon Scott's site has Bogans with 5, so that's interesting and i counted it like 5 times to make sure.

I looked it up last night and surprisingly he had 0.
I was just now checking to see and going over his games on the Jon Scott site. I thought for sure on that 1996 team you'd have to try not to fall into five assists on some nights when they were putting up 110 points on somebody. He rarely went over 1-3 assists though. Weird. Bogans or Prince would've been my next guess.
