And why wouldn't you wear these every game when you can wear infra-orange/camo/sleeved unis instead?

Hope you guys have a Mizuno basketball...

-Thoughts on Cats -8? Weird game, ripe for a letdown...or building on what we've done over the past 2 weeks. Pretty tricky one, pass. (for now)

I believe she is a Nurse Practioner to be honest. But she has helped us several times by referring doctors, specialist etc.

Problem is I've had a bone spir right where my Achilles is attached to my heel for about 5-6 years which has altered my walk and run for some time. The doctor has offered several fixes and nothing has worked and he thought I may need surgery anyway which included cutting the Achilles and I've been against it. As professional as he could be he thanked me for doing half of his job and essentially the MRI is to confirm what he "knows" and to make sure the pectular(?) tendon isn't snapped also.

It just seemed weird to set the surgery up before the actual MRI which he said he'd do today but couldn't when we got there.

Also I remember tearing my ACL and that pain vs this pain was night and day. So I just have a hard time believing some so "severe" happened when the pain isn't there, just extreme tightness.

I'm terrible but I'd play. I played semi-regularly before I moved to Lexington but it's been a couple years.

Anth does everything so damn late. Regularly eats dinner at 10pm...wants ball at 8pm.

What a weirdo. He's soooooooooooooo busy, only time he can fit those things in. (and this was true before kids, btw)

Who grills a steak at 10pm (in KY) ?

Willy, Maxx, abh, wcc, AfroSanta, a few lurkers I know and Kenny Walker could compete with anyone.

Joey could put our playbook on some crazy new iPad type technology we can't even comprehend yet.

It's half court, right? Are snacks provided?

Cricket and Transy, e-mail me so I have your address and I'll include you on the e-mail I send out later tonight.

And if anyone's got an in on a gym, let me know. Renting a school gym will be expensive and a giant pain in the ***. Church gym will probably be the way to go unless someone's got a hook up.

If I were still in Lexington I could provide the offensive punch(scoring and assists) to put them over the top.

Considering this has all happened out of my post earlier today, yeah.

We'll figure it out.

And I'm guarding you when we play. Please believe it. I'm no scoring threat whatsover, but you won't be either. I'll be in your head worse than I am the golf course.

The tendon can tear in different places, important to know where and if retracted. May alter their approach, and what other damage may be done. From what your doc is sounding like, you probably completely tore it.

I bet TMFH hoops circles around Richie.

I'm guarding Richie, TS.
Ha, he'd flat torch your slow-footed ***, especially with the LeBron steps he's granted. TS

Great time last night, props have been given but once more to the Dancers & Wodie...

...was mildly surprised by the game a few had - 73 and bbdk's range. SAE is more than a wide receiver. Rampage Jameson can play.

...if Vern catches the ball inside your two option are foul him (hard) or head back down the court. Automatic in the paint.

Any playlist OTHER than what was spinning last night. TIA. 'Beth' by KISS, wtf?

Am I the only one that takes forever to unwind from something like that? Jesus, was exhausted but endorphins were still ja3ked well after midnight.

A weekend outing would be legit. Get Sloot and B$ out there in their little ref gear from the olympics to keep it clean.

SAE: Any scoop on what will become of the Target on Dixie? That sucks.

<------ slept about 1 hour last night. Popped a few Benadryl at 4am...miserable all day today.

The playlist was 90s Hip Hop until something weird happened at the end.

Slightly disappointed it was a legit regulation 94 foot court (wasn't it?)

Was secretly hoping it was more in the 70' (or whatever) courts you get at most Commercial gyms and many elementary/middle schools. Shew.

...guess part of the fun/reward will be gradually getting the legs back over the course of the season tho.

Yeah we had a heavy dose of 05s Imagine Dragons (his fav), which he added the other day. Beth is a great power ballad though. I will take credit for that. Marvin Gaye and Otis Redding were next up!

If you want to get busted from deep, that's the perfect play. I'm not good for much vs man-to-man given my current fitness state, but I'll eat up a zone, (as would 73) and ESPECIALLY a little junk 3 man triangle manned by the 'leftover' scrubs from Lexington GEB.

Basically had to take all my 3s from 1-2 feet behind the line vs the stifling man-to-man defense...which resulted in a swish or wayward miss mostly, depending on how many plays i'd taken "off" prior. :flushed:

Finally figured out toward the end my best chance at remaining wet was to save up energy over several possessions before shooting again.

Best chance really is just to forfeit imo.

**** we could certainly use a few more guys, btw. I know there are some lurkers out there who'd like to play. Stop being pussies ****

With those two they have a mountain to climb. Then it sounds like the role players have some skill as well. If Vern is that big and can handle it they don't have much choice. I knew Richie balled. They can't man up the entire game or they will get beat senseless. Unless they have a guy that is 6'5 240 or plays like it. Then a guard that can fill it up when he gets hot.

Of course, in a pick up game you won't run a T2 but that is their best chance. It's possible they have some skills similiar to your team. If you put Spears and Strokin on the Lex team it would be a great game to watch. Like drive 3.5 hours each way to see it good.
