Watched a KSR Periscope for the first time only to realize all the stuff you tell GYERO you tell there first. I thought we were special.

Not always...happened this time because I did it last night...I like Periscope because I can say what is really going on without it being permanently out there and then people going and "telling" on me...which happens a lot.

Wynyard isn't ready...period. I am not sure what his future is but I am told he is way behind Humphries...which should tell you why he doesnt play

As awful as the front court is, the fact that Wynyard aint playing should tell us all we need to know.

I'm still confused to why he is actually even here.

Wynard was at the scorers table to go in at the end of the game recently but there was never a dead ball. I doubt there's any plan to redshirt him.

He could have played against Missouri.... The rest of the SEC schedule doesn't bode well for him seeing any clock whatsoever.

Why is Wynyard getting zero clock? Is he that ill prepared to play? Redshirting him? If the latter, why not announce it?

Does that really surprise you? The only time I can recall a true freshman coming in mid-season and helping is Jarnell Stokes. I kind of figured Wynyard would be raw as hell and not ready to contribute. I don't think it's eligibility-save thing as Cal doesn't expect anyone to stay four years.

I guess it's me being curious on how he actually looks on the floor. And I thought he might be able to contribute something since he had allegedly played "pro ball" down under.

Holy ****. My parking donation this year is $600. That's just for the opportunity to buy 2 Red Lot passes at $280 each. I thought I heard that football prices weren't going up again. Mine went up almost $700 from last year for the same exact setup.

The Wynard scuttlebutt is simply because Cal talked him up for a week a while ago and got everybody excited. It was probably just to try and get Skal hungry, but the "reports" (and MJ and lemond parroted this) were that Wynard was a man and he was taking it to our "bigs"

I believed it at the time because 1) He looks like a man. He looks like he could step on the floor and be our best C, and mostly because 2) we don't have a center at all.

Now it turns out he's actually much worse than Humphries, which I have a hard time believing based on the eye test, but none of this matters. We have nothin inside. I accept it. Go get em Skal.

That's odd. Sports teams, both college and pro, are known for eschewing price hikes when the product on the field doesn't meet expectations. Practically unheard of for a team to raise prices if the team isn't winning, regardless of shiny stadium expansions. Probably an accounting error.

If he's way behind Humphries, I don't understand why we took him at all. It makes zero sense.

Maybe to get him into the system and practicing, becoming a better player longterm? People get on Cal for only recruiting OADs and then he gets some multi-year guys and we're on him because they aren't good right now. Even if he's just a rebounder/screener/scrapper eventually, there's a place for that.

I'm fine with the fact that our 12th and 13th men are 6'10+ big bodies who may or may not develop in 4 years.

I'm also fine that they are from overseas and not from the Commonwealth.

Chad, even among GYERO posters, there is a lot of dumb south of Walton. Some of these posters just need to be smiled at, patted on the head and told, "Good job, Sport!"

It was always my understanding that we wouldn't see Wynyard play meaningful minutes until his junior or senior year if ever. Really weird.

As far as shooters, Cal tried to get UK Super Fan Kennard but yeah.

In a similar vein, I'm about to start up the fabrication of mock-ups of a KY wall art price of my own (to be hung above the mantle).

It is made from 2" thick wood that has been CNC milled to show the individual counties. The top facet of each county cants in one of four different directions depending its alcohol laws: wet counties to the left, dry counties to the right, damp down, etc.

KY Booze Laws Map Update:

After initial cutting, we found an obvious error as one county was still "flat" on top. The flat county was unaccounted for in my 1/18 model (which I sent off days before Russell County voted to go "Wet.")

Turns out: the flat county was Russell and now it will be correctly shown as wet (until Sharia Law sweeps the Commonwealth in 2050ish).

Why does Jones think Periscope is a safe haven for his 'scuttlebutt' and that once it's deleted, it's gone forever?

While that's true directly via the App, he does understand people can video record their phone/ipad/etc and use that footage to release whatever he is apparently trying to hide or keep on the DL, right??

*SAE is fuming while in the midst of another argument with the wife centering around his neglecience of the family unit. As he flicks his lighter in preparation to relive some stress in the form of a "crispy" the house goes kaboom and all his problems are solved. END SCENE*

If what Jones says is true and Cal is banking on Skal to man the post the rest of the year, just pencil us in as an 8 seed and a first round loser. I have a feeling that experiment will be very short lived.

And if he benches Willis in favor of Skal, then things will get even worse.
An 8 seed in the NIT maybe...definitely not in the NCAAs!

At times I think UK athletics is actively trolling football fans. Adding $300 K-Fund fees to those who actually decided to keep their tickets and parking after last season is, as Bill Self would say, a dick move. I get why everyones parking was moved and all that but at least be self-aware enough to not immediately jack up the price after everyone was already irritated.
