Put together a list of bottles I’m selling to clear shelf space and buying some long sought unicorns that I will drink and enjoy. KoK ‘23, is on my mind along with a RR15. Life’s too short to stack nice lil trophies, knowing the big game hunting has yet to start. Just sent photos and an excel spreadsheet to JHOB. KLuke Batch 9 is the truth.

Auburn tickets secured. Solo run. No fam. Should be a liberating week in late October.

Gotta come up with a food offering…. Hmmm.

What is that scrimmage injury nonsense @Jeff Drummond ? What do you know ? Spill it.

I’m with Wynn. Cal is washed. Can’t wait to see him fail and his Hogs try to solve a modern PnR drive and dish offense.

I hate women’s basketball.

For those in the Louisville area check out the burger at Pints and Union in New Albany. Double patty smash burger with crispy edges and American cheese. Served with a Mac style sauce and house made pickles.

I recommend an ice cold Stroh’s to wash it down.

The Geoff stuff has had me in knots all day. What a tease. Mercy.

Kooky, I don’t understand how you still have a functioning liver.

Terrible memories of an era of futility. A lot of tv time was given to a crazy chick in our end zone. Like an STD, she finally went away and a new era dawned.

Last 11 games: 8 for his last 45....that's a .177 clip. A whopping 2 HR/4 rbi's w/ a stellar 21 K's. I think we can put a full stop on the comparison to Witt. Oh...leading the majors in errors as well.

1-3 in his 4 decisions this month w/ a 5.57 e.r.a. 5 HR and 24 hits given up in only 21 innings. 4 earned runs or more in 4 of his last 7 starts. #SMH.

But you gotta roll w/ what you got, I suppose. Just don't make them out to be Jeter and Carlton.

At age 22:
Bobby Witt Jr. .254, 20 hr, 31 doubles, 6 triples, 80 rbi, 30 steals
Elly De La Cruz .259, 21 hr, 28 doubles, 7 triples, 52 rbi, 59 steals (with 38 games left in the season)

If we get Jasper Johnson we are going to have four Kentucky kids on scholarship on the same roster.

When is the last time that happened?
2013-14: Hood, Willis, Hawkins and Polson

Rupp's last title team in 58 started 5 KY kids; and of the 14 players that year, 12 were from KY.

Any other polka fans in here? It sounds so good on a sunny Sunday afternoon.
Ragtime, (which led to Stride, which led to jazz/rhythm and blues, which led to rock) was largely based on German Polka (Scott Joplin's music teacher was a German,) so it's safe to say that almost everyone on here likes polka (even if they didn't KNOW it)

The depth of my knowledge never ceases to amaze me. It is truly remarkable.

That 2014 squad didn't have a single KY kid contributing. Johnson and Moreno look like they could both eventually be star players on a contender. Perry has the potential to be a high major starter / elite shooter. Noah could turn out to be a contributor on a legit squad.

We've had good Kentucky players in the recent past but they have been few and far between (especially for legit contributors -- think Darius Miller quality and above). It hasn't since the Pitino years (iirc) that we've had multiple Kentucky kids playing big minutes.

You're right and Pitino had a number of KY kids as legit contributors more often than not with his rosters:
89/90 & 90/91 Pelphrey, Farmer, Hanson, Feldhaus
91/92-Pelphrey, Farmer, Feldhaus, Ford
96/96-Anderson, Epps, Padgett, Mills
