This is New Orleans all over again. Just trade your best player to the Lakers and you'll get the first overall pick in the draft. Quite the circuitous journey it was for Davis to be on both sides of that type of transaction.

So people would rather read this exciting, informational gibberish like this 80Puss ? Hate to clog up GYERO, but you should clearly know by now, your ***** *** will NOT run me. It will take someone a hell of a lot better than your weak attempts. Plenty of posters a lot better than you couldn't get it done. I got all day Playa, keep the weak sauce coming.
Congratulations on being a human herpes blister, I guess 🤷‍♂️

Hopefully FCPS raises the money with drag puppet shows and a free sex change raffle.

* Is there literally ANYTHING to say about UK Football right now? I recognize maybe 5 names on the two deep chart. After watching team discipline crater the last few years, maybe that's a good thing.

Dunno -- and not sure I really care, either. Attending that last game against Louisville might have broken me.

* Anyone seen Otega's combine measurements? I've seen twitter posts about other players but I can't find any official data. His height and, especially, wingspan could really effect his draft stock. If he's bigger than anticipated, it wouldn't surprise me to see a team give him a guarantee at the end of the first round.

* Happy Birthday to Dennis Rodman. The fact that he's still alive is remarkable. If he keeps it up, he might be his generation's Keith Richards.

I haven’t given a single thought to UK football. Sad!
There was a recent post on HOB detailing where our transfers out landed...I knew it was a lot but it was shocking to see in print. Seems like a massive uphill climb to have that type of turnover, with what looks to be like a bunch of mid-majorish transfers, and have it workout in the SEC.

As long as we get average (and we can’t even seem to get to that level most years) QB play, our ceiling is 5-6-7 wins. In college, it’s all about the QB. We seem to have issues in evaluating them and even more problematically, not shown an ability to develop one.

Don’t be giving Fayette county schools any ideas. If they will show my 3rd grader a book with a man in a dress with hairy legs, I think they would fully support a drag puppet show for elementary kids in the name of “social emotional learning “.

- Just a reminder that you are allowed to simply READ this thread.

- Two of professional sports' most ridiculous things converge this week....hype over the NFL schedule release, and NBA prospects' heights while measured in socks.

- Jomboy makes me love baseball even more than I already do. His video breakdowns are incredible.

- UK football season ticket sales currently down 12 percent, per the LHL. Guess we're not the only ones feeling meh about the whole thing.

- Book rec for those of you who grew up loving baseball in the 80's...."The Wax Pack" by Brad Balukjian. Fun read.

- Youngest is driving now. Game-changer. We need sour cream. ON IT, POPS.

- I'll always be grateful to Karl-Anthony Towns for being a WILDCAT, but I can't stand watching him play basketball.

- Checking out that new Tim Robinson movie this weekend. Guy's a comedic genius, imo.

I hear that the football team has gotten back to work. They’re focused and putting in the effort. Bigger, faster, stronger IMHO.

TE room is talented. Gonna throw to them a bunch, and all over the field - AirBush!

You’re gonna love the story about our Native American OLine transfer.

Jager Burton is the lynchpin of the line at center. Can’t wait.

The last few football transfers we've gotten haven't even played at mid-major schools but we're somehow ranked 10th in the portal.

Couldn't name a single incoming recruit though.

-Fact is, we're all older, much busier with work/kids, and more boring than we were 10 years ago. So all the weekend shenanigans that would carry the May-July stretch have dried up. Not too mention there's just too many weirdos posting and lurking so no one cares to be as open as they did back then. GYERO will be fine once the seasons start to come back.

-This dude is making 80proof, of all people, side with FCPS. 80 is about as anti-establishment as any person on the planet. With out a doubt the weirdest and worst schtick in the history of the thread. Great example of why the old school guys don't care to post as much.

-I have the OU at 3.5. 5 wins and he's probably back. It's gonna be a dumpster fire shitshow. I'm not scheduling around it.

-Wax pack seems like a great read after Beirut: Jack Carr. Need something fun and positive. Beirut is really good but sad af.

-Bought a couple hundred "unopened"(I assume they have been opened, quality cards pulled, and resealed) late 80's/90's baseball cards to use as reward, for paying attention, or making a play for my wee ball team. Some great throw back memories in there.

-Oweh is 6'4 with a nasty hitch in his shot. Those dudes are a dime a dozen. He's athletic, good character, but that's not gonna get him anywhere close to what he'll make here next season. Take the money from UK and get the same deal next year. Of course he should go through the full draft experience, but in 2025 he'd have to be insane to go mid to late 2nd round rather than return to UK.

The ridicule of the football team/program/coach is warranted obviously, but in true UK fashions as well as Stoops fashion I get a feeling this team will come out like the Artose Pinner season and produce in a way that will show the coaches know football.

Maybe they go 5-7 or 6-6, but it will be enough to get Stoops an offer this go around and just like with Cal a split will be best for all involved.

Do your best to enjoy his last season and know there will be a time you’ll appreciate his efforts here.

The 80 proof/pti/anthony trio are flexing their muscles..I think they sensed they were losing a little of their kingdom on this board as its grand kings. All you measly fools better stand down now that they are taking back their grand internet board power! Their postings only slowed because they were off doing grand things we could only dream of. Even though point of thread is random, they will tell you what you are allowed to discuss, be careful!

PTI is also being sarcastic with his post, but you are too dumb to pick that up apparently.
Oh no I got it, because he is one of your sidekicks. I was kind of just playing the game, but he’s really not too far off and even if true and I posted it, you would blast me saying it’s not allowed in this random thread. I thoroughly enjoy the back and forth.

I don't think there's ever been a year where I have given fewer Fs about UK FB.

I guess I've been near zero a few times, but the fact that we're entering Year 2 of

Our Burned-Out Coach Would Rather Be Somewhere Else and Tried to Go There But The Other School Didn't Want Him and The Roster Turnover Reflects That

actually has me in negative territory right now.

The kitty litter in the bathroom stories are this generations version of Marilyn Manson being Paul from the Wonder Years and cutting out his bottom ribs to suck his on d***.

My favorite versions of the story is that it's definitely happening in some rural community 2 counties over because "their cousins kids go to school there and they showed them pictures of it." Yes, the school board that consists of a farmer, 2 retired school teachers from the 90's, and Pizza Hut Franchisee has definitely gone woke in Metcalfe County and is making accommodations for furries.

My daughter had first communion this past Saturday. Seeing her in her white dress and beautiful done up curls walking in church - wow. Was not really expecting that. Growing up too fast. Feel like I’ll be repeating the same theme with a much bigger price tag in the blink of an eye.

Speaking of communion - we attended like 4 after communion parties afterwards. I think sending my kids to catholic school is one of the better decisions of my life. We’ve made an insane number of good friends and the Catholics like to absolutely throw down like my wife and I. Just wonderful.

The catholic mass however: hard pass. Too much sin. Sin sin sin. Alright dude, get off my back already.

My daughter this summer - tennis, lacrosse, golf, dance, swim. My son this summer - tennis, golf, swim, probably soccer. 🥴When my 3.5 year old starts activities in a couple years? Think I might just drive off a bridge.

Feel like I’m firmly having a midlife crisis. Have become really focused on getting in better shape, fantasizing about my youth and all the things I did when I was young,

Hiring that smoking hot 27 year old was a poor decision. Impure thoughts are becoming too common. I got an extended look and smile the other day. Forgive me father for I have sinned…

I hate my wife’s new SUV. Immediate ringing when I’m trying to put on the seatbelt after driving for 1 second. An alarm starts ringing every 5 mins to put my hands on the steering wheel even if I am. After driving for a while it asks me “Have you considered taking a break?”. If a car at a stop light in front of me goes it gives me a bell that a car is going. WTF? Who asks for this ****? STFU car

The streaming platform that people have said they have wanted for years is now a reality. All ESPN Networks will be available as a stand alone product for $29.99 later this year or bundled with Disney+ and Hulu for $35.99. You no longer have to pay for cable/satellite just to get ESPN.

Well you see that’s the wonderful thing about Catholicism, you can lust after your smoking hot secretary on Thursday morning and by noon on Friday have washed away after going to confession. I guess all Christianity has that loophole built in one way or another.

Along those lines, I often wonder just how much crazy **** a Catholic priest hears in the confessional booth. Gotta be some wild **** and to think he can’t tell anyone. Couldn’t do it, no sir.

Those of you with teens, are you all seeing a SIGNIFICANT decrease in drinking compared to what we experienced?

I wasn't a big drinker in high school, but I'm still pretty sure at least a couple weekends per month during my junior and senior years were Superbad-lite, where we spent the majority of our time trying to score beer (with spotty success rates).

My daughter and her buds don't drink. As far as I can tell their boyfriends don't drink. And while she did say a bunch of juniors got caught drinking before school the other day, it doesn't seem nearly as widespread.

We did hear rumors about certain middle schools in Louisville is that at certain ones (namely private), drinking is a huge problem starting in 7th grade. But I'm calling BS on that too. Can you imagine going to pick your 12 year old daughter up at a friend's house and she is piss drunk, and the dad of her friend is like, "yep, gave her a few High Noons and some vodka, but don't worry, I supervised it all!"

Everyone I know in the beer/liquor business has told me their sales are down significantly because of the huge increase in GLP1s in America. Shouldn't affect your teens, but interesting nonetheless. And now that the price of Ozempic has dropped 98%, I can't even imagine how much that will impact alcohol consumption.
