Wilcox's absence is no longer a mystery. He had an EPO filed against him on August 20. This tweet appears to have the EPO petition.

He gone !! As he should be (if true). Kid has a LOT of talent, but very little maturity. He will or has ruined any chance of having a solid college career and chance of even bigger opportunities. Some of these guys just do not get it. He seems to be one of them. From simply tying his shoes before going on the field or getting to practice and meetings on time, if he can't to the simple things, it is obvious he just doesn't GAF. No excusing it, if he did what he is accused of, send him packing, no next time, NOW.

Let he who has not snuck naked into the girl your seeing's roommate's room in order to "make it happen" throw the first stone.

Touching Reds, man. Remember when 19 years ago this cryptkeeper said all those things about caring about his hometown, blah, bringing championship baseball back. What a fu**face.

UK football and the Reds. Shoot me into the sun. But I love all those ********.

I’ll tell you who is a clown - Bush Handjob. We have a go**amned persian in charge. I know they can run a Sunoco and sling some delta 8 pretty effectively, but run a major college football offense?

*(I used to have an actual Persian rug, that was passed down by my wealthy hot wife. But my mini dachshund, who is now 17, made it his personal mission to destroy said fancy rug over the course of his endless life.)

Someone spelled it Busch earlier today and all I could thing of was calling him Busch "League" Hamdan for the rest of the year.

I wouldn’t insult Busch beer by spelling that losers name like that. He’s Bush - as in the first nasty *** full black bush I first got into in July 1997. Stacy, you hooker.

Edit - he also doesn’t get to even claim to be Busch League. He’s Killian’s Irish Red league, at best

A large portion of the fan base not recognizing the team coming out to O Fortuna it part of the mounting evidence that we're all getting old.
-One of the greatest hype songs in history. Put that **** on before a big lift or towards the end of some cardio… 👌

-nothing against Catman at all he just made me think, but I loathe the attitude that certain things are funny or fine until it affects me. It’s either always funny/fine or it’s never funny/fine, pick one. Otherwise you’re just a hypocrite that likes jokes/policies that affect people but not about yourself. I just think it’s a pervasive attitude in society right now on many topics where it’s “I don’t care what happens because it doesn’t affect me at this moment” whether it’s gun control, abortion, social welfare programs, healthcare, etc etc. but I digress.

-Ordered a bunch of rounds to put through paper targets so the lady can shoot guns for the first time. Cannot wait. She’s scared of them but doesn’t at all mind when I carry. I think after a couple of 6 pound pressure pulls and I think (hope) she loves it. Typical Lousivillian though, LOVES the idea of KY but knows nothing outside of Louisville as those people seem to think they are the state. Gonna learn her a thing or two.

One thing I’m not a fan of living in a city is that I can’t just go down the road to shoot guns in the real world. I think I’ve mentioned it before, but dang, I don’t like being around a bunch of people I don’t know with guns. Shooting ranges are the worst. Give me some cans, clays, or targets on hay bails and let me go to town on them with people I know and trust around me.

The range checking your rounds, guns, telling you what you can’t use, etc, the pits. Plus, I’d have to go 20+ minutes outside Tampa which is 20+ minutes away already to shoot the Mossberg 590. Could easily pull off and shoot about anywhere in Polk county I’m sure but not trying that.

In the Keys, we’d just go out on the boat and bring milk jugs and fruit. That’s good times right there but the woods are still #1.

WTF?
I know you think you are the most intelligent guy in GYERO, but actually I didn't think it was funny at all.
Was simply trying to be nice in the way I pointed it out.

If it is actually true, I think the kid should be expelled from UK.

What a take. No one can ever gain perspective in life, ***** either black or white, all the time, forever.

Typical take by a 40-something year old childless manchild. When you have a daughter, much of your previous life perspective changes immediately. If that makes one "hypocritical," so be it. I'd argue it makes one responsible and protective.
Fair enough. But I would also argue again you’re only changing when it affects you. Maybe changing before it affects you would be more ideal though, no?

I’ll take manchild as a compliment if it means I’m able to see beyond myself before it impacts me.

I don’t need to have children to be okay with paying taxes for public schools or thinking vaccines are probably a good idea.

I don’t need a kid to think gun regulation should probably change without needing my own child to be in schools.

Of course I want people to gain perspective and change their mind for the betterment of everyone, but it would be nice if it didn’t have to be forced upon them. All I’m saying is maybe try and think about it happening to other people and have concern for it then, before it directly affects you.

Like I said, it’s not Catman, it’s society being all about me. I would know, my life is designed to be centered around me, hence not having kids, you could say I come from a position of knowledge on this .

Did steroids and tattoo ink damage your brain? Did you just say that something is funny/fine or never funny/fine? Dear God man, there's an entire genre of comedy which is basically saying taboo things which are extremely funny in a comedy club, but wouldn't go over so hot at say a Middle School PTA meeting. Time and place is a huge component of good comedy.

Never said it isn’t different in different places/situations. never said I didn’t agree laugh at your post. It is funny in a comedy club. I love that stuff because you know they’re joking and pushing topics and buttons. Things that may need to be said but people can’t say them in public at the time being.

For example, Kill Tony is fine and funny often times. I don’t listen regularly but well aware of the concept. The RNC was probably not the venue for making fun of Puerto Rico or wherever and all those jokes. I didn’t mind it, they chose to do it there, I laughed when I saw clips, I know they were jokes. My lady thought it was awful, so please don’t tell her I laughed.

My point was, when it’s funny until it affects you then maybe you shouldn’t laugh at others when it affects them unless you can laugh at it when it possibly affects you too. I, personally as a manchild, would still find it funny whether I had a daughter going to college or not. It’s not like the one instance this year of a drunk football player sneaking into a room with a girl and sexually assaulting her would change my mind on that either way. That’s always been a thing since there were colleges.

Well, Rogue. I suppose not everyone was born as perfect as you; hence, we change as we gain life experiences and build families, careers, reputations, etc.

I'll admit my initial criticism was probably a little unfair as I jumped to conclusions on a couple of your points. I'll leave it at that. However, if you don't think your life decisions and philosophies change with age, wisdom, children, experiences, etc., then your unwavering commitment to right-fighting (which, ironically, I can somewhat respect) is best seen as hubris instead of virtue. . . . . . . . imo.

Please God let Steve Ballmer burn for this shady *** Kawhi situation.

And I'll be a fan of Pablo Torre forever and renounce everything I said about him if he is right on this.

BTW, f Mark Cuban for giving a soft threat to Pablo for reporting this.

If we DON'T get a consistent rush, Kiffin will take advantage of the entire route TREE.
I saw elsewhere that Ole Miss' OL graded poorly last week. Also, Soles has only played about 50 snaps total since he's been here. My man makes the most of them and he could be a star in the making.

If Stoops still has it, this is the time to show it. I like the rain forecast. I love a Brad White defense when he has a big secondary (especially if there is depth, which remains to be seen this year), a pass rush, and a sure tackler inside. I think the crowd will be better than one might think. I'm somehow cautiously optimistic that we keep it close until the end.

-Was listening to an Ole Miss podcast a couple of nights ago that was saying Lane Kiffin had been watching UK tape all summer and that they felt like they needed to blow out UK. Figured this was hot air but then Matt mentioned it this morning on KSR. I don't bet against UK (never bet on UK games period) but I expect some mortgages can be paid betting on Ole Miss Saturday.

-Was really hoping something that would die in the transition to this site (no pun intended) was the RIP threads but alas, it has not.

-Saw some Bryant HVAC commercials down here in South Central for the first time this week. Didn't see Marlene though.

-Thursday night football is desperately needed tonight, NFL or otherwise.

Definitely not born perfect, still admittedly working on bettering myself and putting others before me is all I can say. People change, slowly, and I said that’s great but also try and do it before it’s smacking you in the face.

Sorry to derail, I don’t do the FB so sometimes I post my thoughts on here. Plus, some of these repetitive, boring ******** need some self-reflection as it’s obvious there is zero and they dive into this site to disappear from their outside life.

Let me try real quick:

-Central Hardin’s QB Daft Moxy seems to really have it. Mobile and an arm that won’t out throw his receivers but he’ll get it out there. Matchup with North is going to be tough next week, as their RB Jamal Fuxoff is barking up the tree of D1 offers.

-Ole Miss football; yards, passes, statistics, game is circled.

-Stoops better check in for this one. Bush needs to open the playbook, that call last week on 3rd and 1 was telegraphed, need to have a PA option there. Stoops, career, UK, Jeopardy.

-Scored a bottle of Ol’ Nutsack 98 proof last week. Might crack it with you guys if we pull this one out.

-Mancave, TVs, bourbon barrels, in my house.

-Elly De La Cruz is awesome!

-No he sucks actually.

Is that better? Seems boring to me, we all mostly listen to KSR, all those subjects have been covered for 10 hours a week.

This place needs UCL/Maxxx and the regulars back or it’s dead.

Rogue, as you likely know, this thread thrived when it was a W-2 measuring contest in which everyone bragged/humble bragged about the same 4 or 5 things and talked **** to each other about how your variety or experience wasn't better than mine. Many of us matured away from most of that but now we're a bunch of middle aged parents struggling to even check the thread, much less drop "randoms" which were rarely random at all (shoutout to the GOAT Mattscats though).

So, yes, it's boring to read the 30th iteration of "why we do this" or "keep an eye on X" but it serves a super important purpose. This is a digital decompression chamber. I don't want to see pics of any of ya'lls kids, but I love hearing about how they're maturing. I share interests with many folks who post here, so it's comforting to read someone else is struggling with the same mundane **** I am. It's why you catch **** in here, most of us aren't able to live that life because we chose differently along the way. So when you brag the same way we do, it looks like you're talking **** about our life choices when you're just expressing your own and we can't relate.

I hate that this thread is basically dead. I've spent 18 years meticulously checking it to get recommendations on trips, gadgets and recruiting news. Hell, even when it started turning into DADYERO, I used it as a measuring stick for where my kids are compared to others as it helped to center me. I'm like you, I don't do other forms of social media, I just post here and scroll through UFC reddit forums (what's up _Chase_?) so losing this thread means losing the fun part of my life where I had young kids and an internet community that supplanted the real friends I lost to time and distance, and now it's mostly gone too, and that touching sucks.

It's weird to feel so sincerely about a message board, but I do.

Maybe basketball season will save us, maybe it won't.

I get that man, I really do. It is a huge bummer as I think I started on here in 2006, it’s been part of most of my “adult” life. I was really hoping it would get back in form with football season starting up but still had doubts. I do not seeing much change except after a big upset maybe. Possibly basketball season especially if we go on a tear. I just wanted to bring some different aspects in here rather than the same old stuff because it was obviously stale.

Well, it’s obviously not wanted and the people regularly on here these days don’t post much, nor post well minus a few.

It is sad to see it go. I’ll quit attempting to inject content or generate conversation where it’s unwanted. I’ll check back time to time and hopefully see some cheerful wildcat friends.

Enjoy your tailgates gang, I miss those for sure being down here. Good luck to the football Cats the rest of the way. Go Blue!

Nah man, talk your ****, it's what we do. Just know we will probably disagree with you more than most other folks and I certainly appreciate a different perspective even if I disagree.

Hell, most posters in here made entire schticks out of being contrarian.

Just my perspective.

As a lawyer, I passionately hate most other / typical lawyers, with the exception of a select few who share my dark sense of humor and general disdain for most in our profession.

The difference is, I really like the lawyers who post here, and we seem to share many of the same views.

Thankfully we still have Beagle, Wynn and Hank, but acutely miss UCL, MaxP and Chase. I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

Make GYERO great again, and get your asses back in here.
