We don't know if Boley can even play and you want to put all your eggs in his basket? I'm not sure he's the answer either.
I just wouldn't have recruited over him this year but maybe got a competent veteran backup for him and that money we used for him could've been used elsewhere (maybe you could've kept Dane or gotten a couple of other WRs; our receiver room has to be the worst in P5). He showed flashes of promise last year, was highly recruited and would represent at least some modicum of continuity for our program/offense which is sorely needed.

I'm surprised he came back honestly. If Stoops is back next year, I could see him leaving then we're back to portal quarterback roulette.

MB still a good AD or nah?

On the set of Filthy Fortunes. It’s hoarders but for collectibles and valuable stuff.

We have had a blast these last few months traveling and picking up large deals.

I have been to zero games and watched from home. It’s exactly what we all knew it was going to be. Get pumped, Stoops/Bush/Mitch.
With football no but with the lesser sports yes.

Basketball is mixed but he does have BG on his resume, he had to be convinced to hire Cal and the lifetime contract obviously was awful.

I do give him some credit for standing his ground when Cal left and not letting him use the Arky offer as leverage and return; plus the Pope hire seems to be a home run thus far IMO.

With Sumrall, it could be a race on who lets their coach go first between us and Florida as to where he lands.

Interested to hear thoughts on other Stoops replacement options. Maybe Coen if we're stuck one more year with Stoops and the NFL thing doesn't work out? Brad White?

Cignetti? Golesh? Lea? Jonathan Smith? Lashlee? Dillingham? Sitake?

Mel Tucker... lol... he signed his contract 5 days AFTER Mitch re-upped Stoops.

We can learn something though... surely Anth can get Stoops drunk enough at Ruby's that a coed working for the football team can call him up and ask for phone sex later that night.

Why on earth would you roll with Zac for the rest of the year knowing you're going to maybe hit 5 wins at best when it's pretty obvious the ceiling doesn't dip too much playing Cutter and you give him much needed sec experience.

The guy is in year 7 and transferred from Incarnate Word. It's almost as if Stoops watched the TAMU / Bama upset and decided to backup the Brinks truck.

- Jayroon has a weird and unhealthy obsession with me. It’s slightly awkward honestly.

That said, what is the bet you speak of that happens on Nov 22?

- I could easily be bought out of the down home dream right now. 2 straight years of fighting govt and honestly I’m in it for no other reason than sheer stubbornness that I won’t lose to any govt subsidy that clearly and sadly doesn’t employ a more intelligent person than myself.

- I agree 3 point shooting will not be a weakness.

- I don’t care if it’s a QB coach that gets promoted, someone on the offensive coaching staff has to be smarter at calling plays. We aren’t even trying to set things up such as bootlegs with so many handoffs, or even a fake bubble screen and shooting a go route to see how the defense responds.

Not to pretend I’d be good by any stretch, but I do understand sometimes on a play call the coach is supposed to be watching what else is happening and how defenses move to make small adjustments and capatilize on defensive tendencies.

Also if you think Sumrall is on UF’s radar you are kidding yourself. He turned down UNC as his best P5 offer ever.

He has a better shot being offered by Ole Miss when Kiffin goes to BAMA or UF, and Sumrall I believe has some ties to Ole Miss which is up his alley of going back to a school he has ties to.

Safelite repair, Safelite replace… $2200 for a cracked windshield. GTFOH. Heads up display and the rest of the tech features on a car is plain stupid. kick in the nuts.

lil man one belt test away from TKD black belt. Kid flies around kickin and smashing shït. Good for him. Except now he wants to play soccer (again)… I told him he sucks at soccer and I loathe it. He didn’t like my support for change🫩.

Minetta Tavern for my birthday. 11 Madison Park for 30th. Place started serving dead animals again… so I’m in.

My UK frat brothers coming up to drink in my bar in a couple weeks. Fun. I get to finally unleash its powers during a UK football game with lunatic fans like me. Debauchery.

Texas tickets secured. Keeneland tickets secured… crashing on an air mattress in my son’s apartment…woof.

In the state of Kentucky, insurance is required to cover windshield replacement at no charge/deductible to the policy holder, unless something has changed.

@Krazykats1 how are you getting by without having to put out every morning?

* The Sleepers guys drive me nuts but at least they put out consistent college basketball content. They know how to play Kentucky fans like a fiddle for clicks.

* Who cares about CalzHamdasucka? College basketball starts in 8 weeks.

* On 3 point shooting --> I think people miss what is going to happen. Critics see us without one deadeye shooter and see that as a weakness. I do not. I think it makes us much harder to guard.

Pope has built a team of slashers and drivers all over the perimeter. All of the guards we added this year (with the possible exception of Kam Williams) can take their man off the dribble most nights. In Pope's first year, we had to scheme shooters open or rely on Koby Brea's transcendent one man perimeter scoring. (His footwork to create shots was a master class last year).

Last year we shot 37.5% from the 3 as a team. Our three best shooters by 3P% were (in order) Brea (43.5%) , Almonor (42.4%), and Butler (39.1%). Brea and, especially, Almonor and Perry were one-dimensional on offense.

I would expect our top three shooters this year will be some combination of Chandler (he shot 34.5% last year on the whole and 52% his last 10 games), Lowe, and Noah if he gets enough attempts or Aberdeen / Williams if he doesn't. I think we match or exceed the 37.5% as a team this year.

The quality of shots that guys like Noah, Williams, and Jelavic are going to get will be phenomenal and all of our creators (I'm counting Lowe here based on Butler's shooting improvement last year) are good shooters, too. It should be a virtuous circle that raises everyone's game.

I’ve been a Kentucky fan since 99 my freshman year meaning in 25 years of being a fan I’ve gotten to watch a fun uptempo offensive team less than a handful of times. Honestly outside of 2010 and 2017 I’m blanking on watching any other offensive minded teams. I was always jealous of my college buddies that grew up watching the 90s teams because they always talked about how much fun they were to watch. That’s what I’m most looking forward to. With our roster and depth I’m looking forward to relentless uptempo offense.

-Pot meet kettle

-The UK going 0fer in the SEC bet

-Florida has excellent candidates to replace Billy Napier, including multiple from SEC rivals and the one who got away - A to Z Sport

-Florida's AD is a former KY Associate AD who still has family in KY who's probably had his eye on Sumrall for a while. And regardless of if he makes the hire or not (he could be gone as well), Sumrall will be in the conversation and especially if he can get Tulane ranked again. Tough 2 week stretch though vs Duke and at Ole Miss though..

The thing about the Hal Mumme days is it was fun! Sure, it was a Margaritaville-esque gimmick, but it was OURS and we were ahead of the times. We may have gotten our butts beat, but we HAD FUN!

In two televised games this year, I have fallen asleep in my recliner for a portion of the 2nd half. Like, I can't hold my eyes open when this team plays. I'm not mad enough to stay awake, and I'm not excited enough to stay awake. I'm just bored to tears. And tired. So, so tired.

TMI, in college I dated an older chick, I was 19 and she was 23, that had no business being with me and I was insecure about the situation for some reason.

She was actually super cool and made an effort to fix the insecurity by having sex in the AM as much as possible.

Oddly it actually worked and fixed the issue so moving forward it’s something I’ve done in every half *** relationship I was apart of and something the wife and I ended up doing as well as she was terribly insecure and 8 years younger than me.

All that said it isn’t that “I have to put out” but sex is a hell if a way to start the day.

Now to answer your question, my mornings are a drag and I’m considering coffee but have not made the leap yet.

There are numerous reasons why UK will likely never be a perinnial power in football. All we ask for is something to get excited about. Inject a little excitement into the program. Hope the pieces come together every 4-5 years to make the CFB playoff.

Spending 3.5hrs watching an offense straight out of the leather helmets era is f*cking boring. Win or lose. But losing makes it unbearable.

I suggest a couple of big rails to get the day started. Coffee is just too meh.

I’ve never drank coffee, do not drink soft drinks, and we make decaf tea so the kids aren’t wired up all day.

On the off day that I actually drink a coke I can’t sleep at night. So believe me coffee in the AM would get me going for sure, but the behavior I’ve witnessed from the coffee addicts I deal with when they don’t have it is enough for me to restrain.

Might as well be crack TBH, so only 2 rails a day huh?

The best thing about switching to Cutter is that we'll have to simplify the playbook, helping the rest of the offense get on the same page. Maybe we'll even look like a team that has played football before.

Oh wait, no, Bush wants us to instead run a 2 QB system. I don't foresee any issues there. Lean on your weaknesses, as the old adage goes.

They may not switch out every other down, but per KSR, we’re prepping 2 quarterbacks.

The main problem (of a handful) is the disorganization. This won’t help.

And now there's a video of the alleged shooter (an old white dude who appears to be wearing Mormon underwear) begging people to shoot him as cops walked him to a car in cuffs.

What a weird time.
