Lots of trash talking on X (formerly Twitter) about how much money we spent on this basketball roster. I'm pretty sure Pope and company were hoping that wasn't going to get out, but here we are.

If these guys can pull off the Natty this year . . . man.

It would be absolute CINEMA (🤮 absolutely hate this word/trend btw 🤮) if we could somehow beat UL in both football and basketball. Those shitbirds are pissing me off again just by existing. Don't ever cheer for anything good to happen for them.

Not that anyone cares, is it not concerning that the Women’s team doesn’t have enough ladies to play a scrimmage?

Makayla Epps talks like an alien who knows English, but doesn’t quite get the flow and syntax.

They’ve got enough to run 5s if they want. Did the same thing last year playing against the practice squad instead of each other.

  • The scary thing about that Todd Harris tweet is that although it is clearly a hack, the hackers did a hell of a job putting in that first line of "Big Congrats to me" in there. That tricked me for a minute. I can totally see him writing that. They missed a little on the pictures and the emojis were a giveaway, but damn, they're getting close.
  • Not expecting much tonight. But the Dougans will be there. Krazy, if your skinny *** is around I'd love for you to come to my tailgate. I'm serving sandwiches today. Knuckle sandwiches.
  • Climbed camelback yesterday. First time in a few years. A lot harder than I remember, which makes me think I need to lose some weight. Apparently my theory of resting my broken, surgically repaired fingers by sitting around and eating wasn't great. May head back over to FITERYO.

All for $2 million a year for the length of his contract. 🙄 If I was a Dodger fan I would love it, but as a fan of a small market team, it sucks that a team like the Dodgers can simply defer that big of a % of that contract. $680 of $700 million.

For competitive balance (whatever that is in MLB) the new CBA should address how big of a % of a contract can be deferred. I know that it’ll never happen, so I’m wasting my time here.

Otherwise, Ohtani isn’t merely a generational talent, but a historical talent (a 🦄) Sorry for the overdone unicorn reference. I do wonder how long his pitching will hold up though.

Who here is willing to sacrifice a body part to appease the basketball gods to get us beyond this annual injury bug that strickens our beloved Wildcats basketball team?? EVERY. SINGLE. YEAR. 😟

I 100% agree. You just saw the might of a 350 Million (per year) payroll against a small market team. It's pretty annoying that they can get away with the deferment but there's nothing stopping them. They've done a lot to make the game itself a better experience, now even the playing field.

Another solid win by Vanderbilt. They shutdown LSU when it counted most. There is nothing "flukey" about them.

I think it'll be a 13 point "ugly fest" win by Texas tonight.

Probably be a boozed up/rowdy crowd in the first half. With a lot of folks doing the Keeneland double.

Got two ribeye steaks from Critchfield's, putting them on the grill in a bit. A friend of mine gave me a 2017 Stag's Leap Cabernet Sauvignon a while back, and this seems like a great time to cork it.

Because it’s basketball and shiit like that happens. If you want the opposite go back and watch the boys defend the girls in that sorry shiitty assed excuse for a scrimmage in the girls part.
