Actually, we can't. Chandler is trying and cannot. Lowe has tried and cannot. Can't even get downhill on handoffs. Turns out it's hard to score when you can't shoot.

Can't really do anything, actually, except take horrific midrange jumpers apparently. I think the 2020 team would beat this one on a neutral. Might be close.
Oh yes, I’m absolutely betting on 2020 over this team.

Mitch should go ahead and resign tonight.

God help Stein the moment we start losing our first game.

Fellas, I'm on the verge of just quitting Fandom at this point. My family is in the living room finishing up decorations and baking cookies and I'm in my office pissed off at 19 year olds.

I’m not sure what to feel other than bad for Pope right now. Feels like the dude got thrown to the wolves. I really think he’ll eventually be a good coach just not sure he’s there right now or if this season will crush his confidence forever. I don’t know what the hell to think I’m just rambling in confusion at this point WTF is happening

I just can't fathom how you come into this season with 1 PG, 0 shooters and a serviceable front line as your only hope.

His assistants have been a massive letdown in recruiting.

I loved last season and had been all-in on Mark but my confidence is shaken now. Unless he resigns, he's back again next year but they will not make the tournament this year and I don't know if he overcomes all the negativity to rebuild. I don't understand why we keep whiffing on top recruits and it's definitely not going to get any.easier.
I'm actually a pretty rational, let the cake bake kind of guy but this is just an epic.disaster and it sounds ridiculous and silly to say on Dec.5th but I think he's done here, the only variable is if it's tomorrow or 18 months from now.

Anyone know of an unemployed and furious Italian basketball coach who hasn't won't a championship yet?

I’ve never given up on a team this early in the season, but I think I might call it a season and hope Pope can figure it out for next year if he’s even still here. What an absolute disaster.

I listened to the game and Jack was just flabbergasted at how soft they were playing and basically called them out for quitting. The boos were coming through loud and clear so obviously the fans felt the same.

I’ve never really believed in booing college athletes but now that they are making more than most Kentuckian’s make in a year, some a lifetime, I have absolutely no problem with it. They should all be held accountable and have to face the fire.

Not ready to write off Pope yet but I am a little uneasy that we are close to him coming out for a post game press conference to reveal he just wants to get back home to his dogs and watch some reruns of Big Love.

Listen. Maybe pope can’t win games against teams with scholarship athletes. And maybe he can’t recruit anyone that didn’t grow up in Fayette county. And maybe he’s been acting like a total sociopath for the entire season. And maybe he’s letting our team captain act like a total aau ***** multiple times on national television. But he was our captain 30 years ago. And that still means something.

Unless you know what’s happening behind the scenes you can’t explain what is happening on the court.

I don’t claim to know what it is, but there is something happening no matter what! Jealousy, girls, money, a fight, coaches playing favorites………..all of that?!?

My in order level of disappointment is Garrison, Mo D, Oweh, Aberdeen and Lowe.

They don’t play like they care. They play more like it’s whatever and their awareness is absolutely shocking to me.

I know fans will blame Pope because if nothing else he did put this group together, but the issues I’m seeing so far aren’t issues I’d have ever thought I’d see from a college team so to me it’s on the damn players.

Kentucky Basketball is set up to be virtually indestructible. Mitch Barnhart has seemingly done the impossible by ruining it TWICE in his career. His *** cannot be run out of town fast enough.

It will take a while to process what I witnessed tonight. The runaway most apathetic, clueless, incompetent performance by any team to wear the Blue and White. It was over before the tip. No evidence whatsoever that they have ever been coached at any point in their lives. Something is really bad wrong and I think it's well beyond shooting woes.
