- I would rather walk home from Vegas than ever take that redeye again. I spent the entire flight praying I wouldn't puke all over the lady next to me, couldn't sleep at all, it was hot AF, and everyone was cranky. I wanted to die. And then I dry heaved through the airport the entire walk to the car. It was awful. (Not that flying at 25 weeks pregnant is ever fun, but that was TERRIBLE). I'll eat a whole pint of Skyline Graeters just to avoid that hellish experience.

I can’t say enough for how great Breeze is, btw. It’s barely a step down from the major airlines, all direct, cheap af, don’t hassle you with huge fees, etc. I’m quite certain it won’t last. Get in while you can.

I REQUIRE at least two days of no work post vacation. When I used to vacation up until the last day before work I was both miserable the last day of vacation and the first day of work - that is no bueno.
Only red eye I’ve taken is to Europe which was great, no idea why I would take one otherwise
Delta has a much nicer interior to all the other airlines imo. Southwest is good for family boarding but sounds like they are going to do away with all that
Was supposed to be going to Asheville and stay at the Biltmore tomorrow. Damn shame what happened and was excited to check that place out. Hopefully they can recover sooner than later.

What if you're traveling somewhere other than like the 5 destinations it can fly you to?

So I posted in the fitness thread last week that I really needed to buckle down because I’m typically a hot f*cking mess in the fall with beer and sports and alcohol in general this time of year. Well last weekend we went to a new Italian place but by Ohio States campus. Place was ridiculous, had a 7 course tasting menu with wine pairings. Went to a fancy cocktail bar afterwards and drank and watched the end of the OSU game and smirked in the middle of everyone’s misery. At 2AM I woke up and wanted to vomit but my wife was pissing so went into my 5 year old sons bathroom (the kids were staying at my parents) and woke up in his bed naked at 9AM. I’m off for the rest of the weekend so tonight I slammed wine and old fashioneds and just smoked a bowl in my underwear outside so my kids wouldn’t smell it so I would say I’m doing pretty good so far this fall.

Redeye flights to Europe are usually bad for me. I'm a night owl, so I don't get tired until around 1 AM EST. Unfortunately, a flight to Europe from Chicago is usually at like 6 PM CST, which means by 1 AM we're about 2 hours from landing. Flying from Denver is to Europe is the move, as it's usually a 10 hour flight and you're taking off at around 9 PM Eastern.
My favorite flight ever was a flight to Singapore from San Fran. Flight took off at 11 PM Pacific on a Friday night. I ate dinner, watched 3 movies, and then slept 8 hours. It was dark the entire time. Woke up well rested in Singapore Sunday AM ready to rock.

Thanks 80Proof, I had been out all night with little sleep. You didn’t have to share that pic with everyone. Geez, a guy gets to be out of the house for a few days to have a little fun and you have to make fun of me. 
When I think of Lonny Demaree, the first memory is Richies post about him unveiling a banner for Stoops while Bob Seger played in the background.
