I am way too confident going into tomorrow night. Will probably be a nervous wreck by tip, but I just feel so much more invigorated, it's hard not to.
I’m trying really hard not to be too optimistic about this team, but they seem way ahead of schedule in terms of chemistry, offense, etc. If we win tomorrow, all bets are off in terms of wild **** i might believe.

I fully expect for us to win. They have a bunch of freshman and we have an experienced roster.
They have 2 guys to worry about and one keeps getting cramps. Yes, they have other players that can shoot but we are so deep, they only play 8 any real minutes. Should be able to wear them down and win by 11.

After beating mauling Bucknell and Wright State, I too believe we go undefeated and win the National Championship.

Hence the cautious optimism but short of a few plays in the Bucknell game (Butler's behind the back pass, most of anything Chandler did in the game, Garrison getting trigger happy) this team has been under control offensively and really sound defensively.

You can also tell they are taking the goal of offensive rebounding to heart.

We may not beat Duke, but I don't think we get run and, if we do, it'll be because we went cold from outside and not because:

A.) We played the least efficient lineup the majority of minutes because
B.) We promised players time before the season started, handcuffing our bench, which lead to
C.) Sporadically calling timeouts and screaming at our players, which lead to
D.) Forgetting a player was hot and got benched, because
E.) We weren't tough enough, and
F.) Didn't make smart plays, so
G.) I haven't seen him

And for that, I'm extremely grateful.

Yea all that is what I meant to say.

Been moving for a week, can’t wait to have this behind me.

As far as UK vs Duke, I mean just answer this, how do you see them beating us? I don’t mean that disrespectfully because I understand their talent.

Just honestly I don’t see how they’ll control tempo, I don’t see them locking us up, I can’t see them running with us, I don’t see foul trouble as a concern for us and most importantly this early I haven’t seen anything from them showing their overwhelming talent being overwhelming.

I’m not so bias that I can’t say we can’t lose but I’m really having a hard time seeing them beat us, and we won’t beat ourselves.

I really hope that after tonight, we can finally put the Cal era behind us and not focus so much on what he and Arkansas are doing. I know it's hard not to look over there and be thankful, but I'm ready to invest and focus on this new era and ignore the CoachCal brand. I think with a win tonight, we turn that page with vigor.

Ummmm, we play his team February 1st, he’s in the same conference as us, and we’re going after the same recruits. You’re out of your mind if you think we’re turning the page after tonight. We still have like 10 hours till tip sober up

In 2018 I let my boys stay up late to watch the Duke game. My 13yo was 7 at the time and a huge Tyler herro fan. I was so pumped to have a big game experience with them. After the under 12 timeout in the first half I had angrily sent them to bed. By halftime I was in their playroom playing Fortnite. That was the last time I was genuinely excited for a regular season game. Planning to have them stay up and watch again, and this time I don’t anticipate sending them to bed early or playing any Fortnite.

I’m obsessed with cal failing at Arkansas. I’m sorry. I wish I wasn’t wired like this, but that SOB really rubbed me the wrong way the past few years. And while I understand why so many UK guys left to join him, it still irks me. Thiero (THEE-arrow) was literally transferring out before cal left, then rejoined him at Arkansas? And uk fans say they are rooting for him?? Why?? He doesn’t like you bro. You don’t HAVE to root for him just bc it feels like the woke thing to do. They left. Im rooting for them to lose every game. IDGAF if they get drafted or not tbh. Not my kid not my problem!!

Let’s go
Cats 88
Duke 85

Brea with a buzzer beating 3 to win. Why not? It’s my post I can do what I want in it

And the first thing out of Cals new recruits mouth was about getting to the NBA.

I suppose I misunderstood just how serious cal was about not caring about winning or losing so long as his guys achieved their goal.

We kept getting caught up in xs and os and all cal cared about was servant leaders making the NBA.

I mean we’re literally PLAYING HIS TEAM in 2 and a half months in the same conference and we’re supposed to stop talking about him after he basically tortured us for the last 5 years after playing another rival for some reason? Seriously I think Strokin is hammered I like his style go cats!!

Being hammered at school would be something.

That said, I had at least a teacher or two in high school that were well known for having a bottle of brown water in a bottom drawer, so…

You are gat dayum right!! eff that fat, lazy cork soaker and I hope they lose every damn game.

Like @anthonys735 said, taking that commitment right after losing that game was completely on brand. How many big recruits did we get commitments from right after getting knocked out of the NCAA’s? Lamb, Knight. Townes come to mind and we ate it up and forgot all about losing.

Eff, Cal, man. Eff him right in the butt. Go win this one tonight and turn then screws even more.

Allow me to elaborate: SMART and DISTINGUISHED fan will be moving on after a win tonight.
