Ole Miss is officially a problem. Beating teams like their coach beats women.

- Rankings wise I don’t think he has top talent yet either.

- I hate Ole Miss and I can’t place a reason why but it started mid 90’s ish I guess and they have oddly grown into a top 5 conference rival for me. Loath those stupid baby blue rebels.

- UT -11 at home vs UGA. Tripling down now against UGA. Sure hope I don’t have to track this down much longer.

- Neither MSU nor A&M got too physical with Jaxson. I suspect Bama will try to rough us up after Ole Miss bullying them.

- Also rewatching SOA, and Drea de Matteo is a great example of those roles.

- We got cheated a point on the obvious goaltend in the butler and 1

- I didn’t have the volume up so I dont know if they have an explanation live but why did they stop our 5 on 4? Was it a bench warning or something?

- the play Jax got the tech it looked like buzz was closing out on him on the sideline. What the hell man. That guy is out of control. He whined the rest of the game trying to get the refs to give a second technical

A part of me wishes Z, Thiero and Wagner would transfer back to UK next year to prove once and for all that Cal was completely washed and UK fans were right, but alas, we don't need them as Pope is putting together a monster recruiting class. Good luck in the portal former Cats!

If 0-4 hasn’t proved us right nothing will. Cal is even worse than I thought. He is NIT bound.

They would have to sit out a year since you can only freely transfer once with no restrictions. Cambodia likely awaits them next instead.

I mentioned before that I always thought Torres was a UK guy from writing the One and Fun book. Turns out he's just the guy behind the @dawncalipari account. Good grief.

Makes me smile to see Daimion Collins play well in a big win. I can't imagine the heart break that kid went through losing his dad like that. I always root for him.

What a glorious night. Under prior coaches, I would be worried about Alabama coming off a loss. Now, whatever. See you in Rupp, Nate.

Getting a week off after Saturday could not come at a better time. This team needs rest.

EDIT: How about Pope cutting a promo about playing chess with Colin Chandler? That's some young Pitino-level attention to detail and gamesmanship.

Hope our boy Butler is doing ok his morning. That was a f’ing beating he took last night. Good grief

Oweh finally got his poster cram. He’s been trying to get one of those several times, was denied hard couple times in the UF game. I’d venture to guess he’s going to get a couple more like that one before the season ends.

Dirk Minniefield's dunk has always been my #1.

Maybe it's recency bias but I'm having a hard time remembering another better than OO's.

And in my book, dunks from smaller guys are always better than 7 footers, so that's part of it.

WCS and Kenny Walker had some great ones but I always enjoy seeing guards elevate.

-I have no interest in any Cal players. ZERO. Wish the kids well, those 3 all seem like good kids, but moving on.

-Not a pretty start but what a damn win. 11 pts with 8 minutes to go in the 1st and we called the dogs off at 81. Lol. Unreal. Seeing us win one of those where we just don't out offense a team that mucks it up. I had doubts we could win a game in the 70s.

*Williams with his best SEC game and FINALLY fought back down there. If he can board like that, against a great rebounding team, look out.
*Jax finally showed some emotion and played like. I loved the T. Grabbed a bunch of boards and got in on D.
*Oweh runs are just so unexpected and hilariously fun. Like, "Man, 00 is having a tough night!" Boom he rattles off 8-10 consecutive points. He's all over SC. Was only a matter of time until he finished one of those.
*We need guys that can finish at the rim. We had them spread SO far out and only 00 could get there. Have to address that in the off season.
*Butler was due a clunker and boy did he deliver one. Just flopping around, missing shots, lazy long passes. EwwwwwBrothaEwwww.
*Rupp when Perry hit that 2nd one. Ha. THREEEEEEEEEEEYEAAAAAAAAAAAH!
*Our offense is so beautiful.
*I'm not a big ref complainer, but they've been atrocious this year. It's remarkable how bad.

-Arkansas. BWAHAHA. F*cking idiots. When UK fans talk basketball, shut the f*ck up, and listen. Dude is washed. They got bamboozled and honestly thought they got one over on us. They also have the softest possible SEC schedule. UK, Bama, UF, UT and AU only once. Miss he tourney with that gift and good luck. Golden parachute.

-Been 5 or 6 years since I regularly watched and consumed CBB media. I've been avoiding that **** forever. So nice to be able to dip back in without crushing anxiety.

This is UK basketball and it’s fun again and why most of us are in this thread in the first place. Going to be many more ups and downs but man it’s been big ups so far through the Pope era and I’m loving it again. And I’m giving the guy plenty of time to reach his and our ultimate goal. I won’t put a time period on it but it’s a lot of years to get it done here knowing how hard it truly is to win it all.
