One of the things that really drives me crazy, and is usually an indication of toughness, is that we don’t ever seem to get on the floor for loose balls. They are always reaching for them instead of getting down on the ground. Well that and we tend to shy away from contact in the lane with Butler and Robinson being the worst.

Well the first two months of the season were pretty awesome.

Well 10-9 or 9-10 in SEC is still in play.
Good chance we may not be in top 25 at the end of the season.

Could name off a bunch of things that have already been said, but I suppose we should be happy that Pope has us sniffing the top 10 of rankings in his first year. I am fine with that and still feel we can make some noise in March. No matter what, the future is bright.

But this is not a championship team.

As a Travis Perry fan I am genuinely concerned for him if he has to guard Pettiford for even one play.

I can’t remember the last guard that had that mix of fast and quick and that killer instinct.

I don’t feel sorry for Thiero as he had offers from Pitt and UNC too.

He chose to follow Cal after being a player of his.

But of course he’d be the savior of this team that has far and away exceeded expectations.

If only our backup PG wasn’t out, our PF wasn’t hurt and now out, and our starting PG wasn’t playing at maybe 80%, but nevermind all that I bet Pope blocked another million dollar to keep Thiero here.

To be fair, dude was always injured while here. I would have been upset if we whiffed on some of the latter additions to keep him here.

I’m happy he’s having success on a ****** team, though.

Wasn't that a Jerry Tipton (the real one) bit on Kelenna in a "Get to know Your Wildcats" thing was the "Fun Fact- Dad is in prison" ?
