Night and day difference what a point guard can do.
Felt good about our chances last night because not having Butler is worse than not having Robinson.
Hell if we can get healthy, this team is actually a title contender. And I did not think so a few weeks ago.
Pope better not play the Powerball, cuz I'm sure he will win it.

-This is a tool I thought we might use a little more this year because he was good statistically at this last year too and you could see flashes of it in his highlights and the blue/white game. Nice weapon to have especially with many of your other primary options banged up.

-Heard someone say Butler was dealing with a Torn Labrum.

-Without Butler and Jax Saturday we'll be about 3 point dogs.

-I'd guess Jax will be questionable on Friday's injury report rather than doubtful and he'll give it a shot with Butler out.

-If you liked the recruiting circus of Caleb Wilson, then you'll love it with Ament.

I subscribed to Trilly shortly after Pope was hired, and it was fun following when we needed an entire team. However, hard pass for individual recruits. Appreciate you letting us know what you hear though, and I might resub once portal season is in full swing and we need multiple guys in a short time frame.

Ament would be a massive get, but with NIL I'm basically in "I'll check your highlights once you commit" mode.

If that dipshit Reed Sheppard had stayed you could’ve gotten away with just calling this team the mountain mambas. That would’ve been kinda fun.

Why are people upset about this whole Gulf of America thing? Doesn’t everyone just call it “the gulf” anyway?? It’s the only gulf around?? Let’s just agree to meet in the middle and call it the Gulf of TexMex. The Gulf of Chuy’s 👍

I must be in the minority bc I don’t mind ravich/dykes. Don’t necessarily like em, but they are what they are… a couple unbiased announcers who seem to like bball and respect UK for being one of the top programs. Maybe it’s a low bar but they don’t bother me.

-Brea becoming more than a shooter is just what this team needed. He should have open lanes all day long. 8 asst in the last 2 games.

-We're simply better with Noah on the floor. Hard to believe that but it's 100% true. Both ends of the court. He's gonna live out the KY Boy Dream. Kid just has a nose for the ball. Love it. We would've dreaded missing on that kid.

-IMO you sit Butler and Robinson at least the next 2. We've solidified a decent seeding. Our injuries are well documented. Way more important to have them healthy that to win an extra game or 2 in the reg.

-Crowd was insane last night. Had to be top 5 for me. The OWEH OWEH OWEH moment was one of the cooler moments in Rupp history. Cold chills.

-How cool is it to have a coach make in season adjustments? We're punching so far above our weight right now. I love it

-When AL gets those puppies set it's automatic. When he rushes it hits the side of the backboard.

-What happened to Chaz Lanier? Been a ghost against us. 5-1 vs the orange in one of their best 3 all time periods lol. Meanwhile, we "ran" a HOF coach off and had an unproven coach come in with 9 transfers. This is how UKFB felt when UT had ****** teams come to CWS and steal our joy.

If you took a shot every time Bilas mentioned a guy blossoming under Pope's tutelage last night or saying "who had xyz from abc school becoming this kind of player?" you would have been under the table at halftime.

I trust our coach to pick the guys that fit his system and I trust our KY guys to add the grit we are going to need moving forward.

- Layla Pope doing kip-ups like that at 5’9”+ after a spine surgery a few years ago is BANANAS.

- Watched the game on mute while I lifted last night. This successfully mitigated my annoyance with announcers and gave me an outlet for redass, highly recommend.

Is there a reason Arkansas plays at 9 every single Wednesday? The schedule is made well in advance so it’s not because they’ve sucked.

- I blame Vitale a lot, even though I love him. Most color men in college basketball are just asskissers. It’s terrible. Give me Packer.

- I want Ament bad. Similar to Wilson but more on offense than D. Can you imagine an ultra skilled, ultra talented big wing in this offense? A guy with legit offensive talent? I can’t wait.

- I just love how consistent Oweh is two-way. It’s just nice as a fan knowing that guy will show up every game and occasionally be outstanding.

- 4 wins against the Top 5 and this isn’t because of a home court. Unbelievable.

- Last NCAA team with this many Top 15 AP wins … Tubby’s Comeback Cats.

- Yeah let’s let Brea create more.

- Really excited to see Garrison, Chandler, Noah and Perry develop.

- No matter what- knowing damn well March is what Kentucky basketball is all about- this has been an extremely fun season that we all needed.

- BBN knows hoop. I had so many different friends passing along rave reviews of Trent last March from the Sweet 16. I’m talking not your usual stuff. Kid’s a player.

- Love how in less than a year Colin Chandler has morphed into an true Kentucky red. That mullet and stache look is great. Looks like a young Tracy Lawrence.

- You start looking at resumes and it’s going to be hard to keep Big Blue off that 2-line. Chill.

- Favorite thing about Pope is that he’s a basketball junky just like us. He seems to genuinely enjoy the questions and ideas from BBN.

Al McGuire was a great color guy as well. He was a part of one of the greatest broadcast teams (McGuire, Packer and Dick Enberg)

Last game against Tennessee Dykes was spewing some nonsense about “there being no team that’s more connected than Tennessee on defense. They speak truth in that Tennessee huddle.” I mean what kind of nonsense is that? Wanted to hurl my remote at the screen.

Remember where you saw/heard this? I can't find it using the Googles.

* @wildcatadam6 I too need to start listening to Tom and Goose while watching the games. They are state treasures.

Any tips on getting the iheart feed to easily synch?

* I rewatched the game last night. The ESPN app makes that really easy. They cut out the commercials and halftime so you can knock it out in less than an hour.

After you know the outcome, it is great to take joy in the little things that occurred during that victory -- such as Molly McGrath in a cocktail dress trying to worm her way into the Kentucky huddle while furiously writing down everything Pope said. Quite the sight.

ESPN can do whatever they want with their color commentators but I hope they keep McGrath and Alyssa Lang around. They are both hot enough for the gig but, as importantly, both are cool and seem legitimately interested in college sports. Big fan.

I too found it on the app last night and I guess I didn’t feel like the game was close so late as I felt we had control.

Koby Brea, like most shooters, is just on when he is actually involved in more than just shooting.

Watching the Cal and Rick docs on Vice reminds how different they actually are today. Rick is still possessed and fiery. Absolutely hates louisville and still takes 0 responsibilty for that mess. Cal one is who he is players first etc foreshadowing the win in rupp. Rick one is much more behind the scenes interesting Cal doc is puff so far.

3 seed in the South is still my dream. Butler and Robinson full strength, Carr back against some non SEC guys, Cleveland to Atlanta.

I’ve been saying for years there’s a market out there for an ESPN+ option that gives you a video feed with the crowd noise and PA announcer. Maybe some updates on a scroll on the bottom line.

This would be incredible. As much as I wanna mute the TV guys sometimes, watching in silence & no crowd/vibes/whistles coming through is much worse.

My #1 criteria in watching a rare game out around town is "sound on". Even if you can't hear the words clearly, just the background noise makes all the difference in the world to me and my watching experience. 'Tunity' app is super dope for sportsbook watching, btw.
