Those new blood shirts are stupid. As soon as Oates bolts they will go back to being mid SEC west.
Obviously, it all just comes down to if we can get healthy. We do and we can make a run. We don’t and we are bounced early.
We showed fight. Made some good plays, but didn’t play well enough in sustained periods. The huge run Bama made in the 1H was killer.
Tough to win with an inexperienced backcourt and getting zilch from the bench.

I can’t remember a more frustrating season purely due to injuries to key players.
The chest beefers on Mark Sears’ mom - my lord. Those things were outrageous.

Idk man, I see heart and effort. Seeing Noah, Perry, and Chandler ball makes me giddy about our future. I love Kentucky Basketball again. I love that we have players returning. Players that play for Kentucky and not Klutch or whoever

On the road against a top 10 team, he committed 0 turnovers and went 3-4 from 2. Before the game, he was 3-14 from inside the arc for the entire season. He even picked up 4 steals along the way.

This x100. I was winding up a long, wordy post from left field, but this sums it up.
I think we will get healthy soon, and I think we will be at full strength by SECT (minus Kriisa).
At that point I expect to rain hellfire on all who stand in our way, especially the nouveau "basketball program" football schools who have been treating their inbred, ignorant hilljack fans at our expense for the past month.

Losing always sucks. However, it's still enjoyable watching these freshmen grow. Chandler has a long way to go, but he keeps showing glimpses of what he could be. That drive where he finished the contested layup was impressive, quite fluid. Perry just keeps getting better. He wasn't hitting from deep tonight but still scored double digits. Noah has struggled scoring lately. It hasn't affected his energy level. He always hustles and rebounds.
This year, Cal's Tweak was being lucky that Boogie Fland got hurt, which allowed Cal to accidentally overcome his own stupidity / misplaced loyalty in constructing his starting lineup.
Carr ended the game with 2 fouls....As analytical as Pope is he should realize that this old school practice doesn't necessarily have to still be followed.
They will lose before the Final Four.

I remember Delk saying he didn’t know he had joined the track team! Said they didn’t see a basketball for 2 weeks. Pitino made them do nothing but run for the first 2 weeks and it definitely paid dividends. They stayed fresh and ran other teams to death. Pope should try remembering that next year. Pretty sure they didn’t have the injuries like we do.
