Ok I'm missing something. Why are some bitching about these additions?
I mean how many people are we taking??
There was a post last night saying his medical timeline should have him ready to play next season from the word go.Again, JQ isn't expected to play next season because of his injury, the last I heard.
He will be a walking double/double, shot blocking machine. He averaged 9.5/8 and blocked 2.6 shots per game. He will NOT be shooting 3s. 2.6 blocks per game, when was the last time UK had that ? AD. The days of giving up over 10 offensive rebounds a game and getting waxed on the boards in general, are OVA. Lobs for days from Lowe.If by interesting, you mean terrible. The first "WTF" I've had with Pope.
This is exact kind of Shaedon Sharpe-lite knucklehead I want Pope to avoid. Are there any other kids in the third percentile on the catch and shoot coming off ACL surgery we can throw millions of dollars at?![]()
Considering he's a projected top 10 in the 2026 Draft I would sure hope he's expected to play next season. This is from last week:Again, JQ isn't expected to play next season because of his injury, the last I heard.
Jayden Quaintance is projected to be cleared for contact in September, six months following his surgery, his father says, putting him in line to return to action before the start of the 2025-26 college season in November.
"He's already ahead of schedule, the doctor says, and should be cleared for contact in September," Haminn Quaintance said.
the only one I've complained about is JQ, and large part of that is his health, and the assumption that he couldn't/wouldn't play next year. It SEEMS that he will though, so let's roll.Ok I'm missing something. Why are some bitching about these additions?
So closeFlorida moneyline
Houston +5.5

Something about JQs catch and shoot percentage. IdkOk I'm missing something. Why are some bitching about these additions?

Reserving judgment on this one. We saw Harry Giles go from world beater to never close to the same. But one thing going for JQ is that he’s 17 yo. Won’t be 18 until July. Hoping for the best.I would assume there will be clauses of health and playing built into his NIL deal, if not, it should be. I can't imagine Pope not protecting his investment. Cal, hell yes, Pope, I do not think he goes all lose and just pays him big money without some sort of guarantees of minutes / production clauses. JMO. If so, definitely worth the risk, huge reward if he comes back and able to contribute. ACL's are not the kiss of death. Another thing about JQ, he averaged almost 1.5 steals per game. Played in the Big 12, some solid players in that league and defended very well.

For what it’s worth, Quaintance had an assist rate exceeding Carr’s.regretting this as i type it, but don't we still need a PF/stretch 4/Andrew Carr type? Can Williams and Dioubate fill that role?
2 playoff teams firing their coach. 8 teams have no first round draft choice.I just don't get the NBA anymore.
Didn’t he set the freshman blocks record?I find it hard to believe AD is not on that list of defensive unicorns.
I'll be there.*Just booked Red Clay Stray at Red Rock. To say I'm pumped is an understatement.
Probably can’t see through that Simba mane.Shot is busted though.
If he's healthy, is he better than Yaxley?
Damn, he is a fantastic passer.![]()
