Now they're saying they have a POI but only the older guy trying to suicide by cop is under arrest for obstruction.

What the heck is going on here?

What is it about conservatives that they’re so insecure about themselves that everything has to be the fault of transgenders? It’s like transgenders are on every corner of every street in America. I doubt if 90% of them have ever encountered one in person. Would probably help their cause if their top two elected leaders didn’t wear so much makeup, the irony is lost on them.

We had a nice two weeks of actual fall weather, now back to the heat and humidity for the next two weeks. Ready for fall and winter, football and especially basketball season. Hafta have something to look forward to after fishing, baseball is just good for putting you to sleep.

Have been liquidating the last 10 or so Amazon pallets I have left. Was a good little endeavor that made a **** ton of money, but the time spent took away from my fishing. Going to start getting things ready to put a couple of other projects I’ve had put back into play. Have a few patents on products I’ve never brought to the market and the timing is right. I like opening companies for about a grand and then see what happens, makes me work harder and be more creative in promoting them. Those long winter nights get boring when you don’t sleep.

That shot was by a pro
Whoever shot him hit him on the first shot from 200 yards without a spotter, from a high angle, into a crowd, and on a pause after waiting for Kirk to sit up straight after momentarily reaching forward and (presumably) dropping from the shooter's resting aim. So yeah, I would say whoever did this demonstrated a much higher degree of skill than the previous evil f***s of late.

With that said, that shot was not a miracle. With YouTube University, a couple grand, and a nearby gun range most people of reasonable diligence and eye sight could probably make that shot with practice.

The fact that he was hit in the neck rather than head or heart suggests to me it was not a true professional in the sense of a former military or police sniper.

For me, the shot is less of an indication of a professional (or someone else with unusually proficient criminal skills) than the ability to evade surveillance detection on a college campus during an event where cameras were designed to be everywhere.

Is our FBI director a stooge or a moron? The last public official I've seen tell the public to relax after a shooting before the culprit was caught was Randall Weddle before they found Joe Couch's rotting corpse. Those two seem to have about the same PR skills.

I'm not trying to be political by saying this, but Kash seems like the kind of guy that just wants to have a gotcha moment and clearly jumped the gun with his tweets. It also doesn't help that they just installed a new agent in the SLC office after a decorated FBI agent that was heading the office was forced to resign (it's alleged that it's because she was Pakistani-American and considered a DEI advocate).

Either way, this isn't at all like the two psychotic idiots that attempted to assassinate Trump or the one that did kill the state senator in Minnesota. Between the fact that we only have one shot of them running across the roof (publicly anyway), two people allegedly were running interference to distract law enforcement and the combination of factors on the shot (as you detailed), this was definitely a much more "professional" approach.

We may never find out who actually murdered Charlie, and that's pretty chilling.

I don’t really follow politics that closely, but I just find it so sad how seriously and insanely people take it. I never imagined back when I started posting on a Nintendo MB back in 1996 and got in arguments with PlayStation fans that the internet would slowly turn into a trigger point for adults to become belligerent about politics. It’s not just that we’re all Americans but disagree on some policies it’s the other side is evil. It’s like we’ve turned into the Jews vs Muslims. It’s so crazy and sad. No media to trust to just calm people down and bring us together, no politicians working together, otherwise reasonable people cheering on the murder of a young dad. Just crazy and scary to be raising kids in this environment.

Iran/russia/North Korea professional possibility? A country that wanted to tear us apart/slow trumps momentum?
any reason why you named every country except the one with the balls to actually do something like that? Charlie was talking about Epstein being Mossad on one of his streams recently. When someone like Charlie Kirk starts noticing thatll get the ball rolling.

It was disappointing to hear on KSR earlier this week not only that Matt thought Stoops would be back but that if not that he thought at this point that the next coach would be White or Sumrall and more than likely White over Sumrall.

You have to have more backup plans than this and there are plenty of other coaches we should be considering that are better options/have more experience than White.

Seems like Mitch would take the easy way out with White; to get the football mess straightened out we may need Mitch to retire before or at the same time that Stoops leaves.

Nothing against Brad White and he might work out fine but there are bigger fish in the sea that you at least have to consider first IMO.

Go look at posts on TikTok and you will see lots of Americans laughing and happy that Charlie Kirk is dead. There seems to be a lot less REASONABLE people in this country than just 10 years ago.
Very scary, if you ask me.

It's one of the (many) problems with social media. It distorts reality.

Let's say 1 in 1000 people is crazy enough to make a video that's laughing that Charlie Kirk is dead. 30 years ago if this shooting happened perhaps a goth kid from your high school might "celebrate" at lunch or in a classroom that Kirk was killed. But you'd shrug it off because it's one guy out of a 1,000 and nobody cares what a goth kid thinks. And btw, that's the only 1 person you'd see.

On social media, if 1 in 1,000 Americans made a video celebrating Kirk's death, you could theoretically see 350,000 videos. It amplifies the fringe by distorting the scale of the wackos updward.

- S’up, nerds?

- I’ve gotten kind of used to the new format (even though it still sucks). My main gripe now is having to re-add idiots to the ignore list. Especially when they have new names I don’t know.

- UK football…whatever. We moved our seats down one row behind a bunch of our friends, and our group now shares 12 tickets altogether between us. We’re back in “let’s just enjoy the party” mode at this point. It’s fine. How I grew up with UK football anyway, when my dad had end zone bleacher seat tickets.

- UK round ball…whatever. We don’t really know **** at this point, but I am optimistic about the season, at least.

- “My” Cubs…yeah, we have the lead wildcard spot (today), but whatever.

- The Bears…lulz. What an absolute meltdown after a promising start on the biggest stage in the regular season. Whatever.

- The Enhanced Games sound AMAZING. I’ve been saying for years, let them all do what they want (preferably under a doctor’s supervision, but “my body, my choice,” ATKOT). I think it’s hilarious how so many people are naive to how many designer/undetectable drugs every one of these athletes are on anyway. People like that dork UKO probably actually believe they’re all clean because “DRUG TESTING.”

- It’s been a few weeks now, but took my first trip to Vegas recently. Lass and I went to see the Backstreet Boys at The Sphere. Judgments about the music group aside, it’s impossible to put into words what that place is like. If you ever get a chance, GO, I don’t care who the act is. It’s surreal.

- Vegas itself was a lot of fun, but it wasn’t nearly as rowdy as I was expecting. I also know and have heard many times that it has changed a lot from its seedier past and is much more family friendly now. And I’m sure there’s still plenty of trouble to get in if you know the right places to look.

- Yacht Rock Revue gets 4 out 5 Captain’s Hats. 4 because the music was awesome. Detracted 1 because I just don’t do well in shoulder-to-shoulder cramped environments like Manchester.

- I got to finally meet Century in person. Enjoyed that even more than the show.

- Lass’ once every 5-year UK cheerleading reunion weekend starts tonight. There might be some things talked about amongst the attendants that have happened over the last 5 years.

- Pete Thamel looks insane with those glasses and his face right up to the camera anytime he’s on TV now. What the hell is he doing?

- I’ve complained about it before, but the construction and repair work close to downtown Lexington has gotten even more out of hand. It feels like literally anywhere you drive there are road and/or lane closures. Ridiculous.

- Kick Friday’s ***, GYERO. Go Cats. I guess. Whatever.

Yes, great to meet CSC - long time coming.

Yacht Rock Revue puts on a better show than some original bands I've seen lately. Lots of fun.

Agree with CSC on the shoulder-to-shoulder stuff though. We saw them Derby week at Iroquois Amphitheatre and that was better.

Dunbar high school repairs not being made, unsafe mold and other conditions per students and teachers. Lafayette and Henry Clay in similar condition. This is why it matters that FCPS superintendent and board chair Tyler Murphy drained the contingency fund and can’t tell us where the money went.

Across the street neighbor installed their ridiculously extravagant Halloween decorations this past Sunday. They have no kids. Giant screaming skeletons.

Awful.

A big screw you to the neighborhood 2 months in advance of a ‘holiday’ for children but celebrated by adult weirdos and dunderheads.

MY Madisonville North Hopkins Maroons are now 4-0 on the year, pulled off the big upset last night at home v/s the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado, 25-22. Markezz Hightower the RB for Madisonville is a bad, bad young man. He has had games of 196 yards, 3TD's, 231 yards, 4 TD's. Before last nights game, on the year (3 games, stats not available yet from last night) he had 51 carries for 552 yards (10.8 ypc), 11 TD's (3.7 per game). I know he had 2 TD's last night, one of special teams on a blocked punt, and he had at least 100 yards. Has lead Class 5A in rushing and scoring the last 2 years, and leading again this year. #9 nationally.
