-This new website is the worst. Aside from f*cking up all the usernames. It freezes up my browser multiple times per day. Is a pain in the *** to navigate. Pop ups constantly in the thumb/message box area. Just brutal. Not to mention all the new weirdos coming out of the woodwork.

-Got to hang with 100cat last week. What a dude.

-Anything in the world more disappointing than a brand new towel? They look fantastic. Comfortable and fluffy. Then just shhhmear water all over you. Yuck.

-Very much appreciate all the B2BC love. 600k raised for local cancer patients. Amazing. We all stayed upright and had a great time on the ride. @Kennedy_UK should come join us next year.

-Wasn't really dialed in on Saturday during the game but it still seemed like Cutter is an easy choice moving fwd.

-About time to do a little QZip shopping. That's one part of the fall I can get behind.

-Lexington/Cincinnati this past weekend. Stayed with friends in Bell Court. Little mini reunion of college pals. B&T on point. So simple but they have the formula on lock. Enjoyed Tony’s also. Missing it already.

-Couple rounds of golf in Cincy. Sucked both rounds except for dunking an eagle on a par 4 from 140 and a small handful of other shots. That’ll keep you coming back. Wedding in Mt Adams, Hyde Park CC reception. Weather was fantastic.

-Most seasoned Grippos bag of all-time. Dear god. Amazing and awful (next day)

-Missed game but was getting texts from buddies during reception saying Cutter looked really good. Stats for completions didn’t really show that but was curious. Watched highlights and yes, that’s our QB. Can actually stand in the pocket and deliver a pretty ball. Just throw him in the fire now. Did Dowdell get injured?

-Seein’ Stars by Turnstile has a sweet late-level of a challenging Sega game background music guitar hook that slaps. Streets of Rage or some shǐt.

-Keyboardist at Madtree warmed up with a feverish Linus and Lucy rendition that got the holiday vibes starting. People nodding to it. About that time.

-Gonna donate, Anth. Thanks for all you do. Big number!

  • Cal Zada (that's what my son thought his name was) was the starter because we gave him the money. I would also argue that his stats throughout his career weren't terrible. So I get it. That said, it's time to move on to Boley.
  • Speaking of my 9 year old son, he and a couple of his buddies sit together for all the home UK games. Shirts come off within the first few minutes. And every dead ball consists of trying to get on the jumbo tron. The good life.
  • To answer BTodd's transgender question. I know several people who have transitioned / are transitioning. From that limited data set I can tell you that you shouldn't be allowed to transition until you are at least 25. The guys who waited until later in life are significantly more stable than the young guys who made the switch. And were far less crazy before hand too.
  • Friend of mine told me last night that his 7th grade daughter is really into the Insane Clown Posse - and even dresses up like them every now and then. I didn't want to say anything, but buddy, you need to nip that **** in the bud immediately.
  • Wayne Dougan's 1st rule of parenting is drop subtle jabs regarding the behavior you don't want your kids to exhibit early on, and be consistent about it throughout their childhood. For example, I make snide remarks in front of my kids about anybody with a tattoo or nose ring.

Has there ever been a worse 2nd half of the season from an overyhyped MLB player than Elly?

~1 HR and 25 RBI in his last 71 games.
~35 for his last 168: .208 BA
~21 point drop in BA since July 12th.
~OBP....horrible. OPS....horrible.
~Leads all SS in errors and K's.

12 games left.....willl he have a hot streak so Sadak can scream and Larkin can proclaim him to be HOF?

Still pumping brakes?

Dauster and Goodman said that our 5s did NO interior post drills on offense and instead focused most of the practice on ballhandling and backdoor passes from the perimeter. Pope said we are going to hit more 3s this year than last. Otega said we are shooting to be a top 5 defensive team because that is what it takes to win the title.

We are seeing the future.

You may not like it, but I'm going to talk Charlie Kirk shooting.

This has to be more than a lone shooter. After allegedly shooting Kirk, within a few hours the suspect sent well-written text messages to his boyfriend where he:
  1. Admitted to murdering Kirk
  2. Admitted to writing a confession letter and describing where that could be found
  3. Described the weapon he used
  4. Described where the weapon wrapped in a towel could be found
  5. Admitted carving words into bullet casings
  6. Provided his motive
  7. Described his parents as MAGA to his live-in boyfriend even though said boyfriend would have obviously known that considering they live together.
  8. And then tried to make it look like his boyfriend was not involved or aware
Nobody in his right mind who could pull off an assassination of this magnitude would ever do this over text.

I'll bite. You can read the text messages as a pre-rehearsed script that he and the boyfriend had cooked up to try and keep the boyfriend out of it. If so, it might have been part of the plot all along as a contingency in case it looked like he was identified.

We are talking about 22 year olds here. Even non-ill ones are pretty dumb under the best circumstances. I don't know that the mere fact that the plan (if as depicted by authorities) is moronic makes it untrue.

I do know that Kash Patel has less credibility than Jussie Smollett in my book.

Texts were obviously rehearsed/planned. Too clean. He was definitely the lone culprit but highly doubtful he didn't convey his plan beforehand.

I'm not saying there is some government conspiracy. I just think that he at least was planning this thing out with other people.

Re: his intelligence. They said he had a 34 on his ACT and a 4.0 GPA. Say what you want, but he's not dumb.

Let's say he didn't involve his bf... wouldn't the move just be to keep your mouth shut or claim he didn't do it via text?

I think the likeliest explanation is that the boyfriend and a select few others knew beforehand and may have aided him in planning. The texts were staged to make it look like the boyfriend was blindsided by the news. The fact that they talked in a way they thought adults would find easy to understand was part of the point.

In other words, I would bet a handful of other people provided help, they planned this much longer than a week, and the texts were part of the plan to try to make the Robinson kid appear to have acted alone in the event he was caught. Or at least that is the simplest explanation I can see based on the known facts.

But does there seem to be some weird stuff about this one (and Ol' Kash and Bongino)? Yes. Yes there does.

I think that he probably acted alone, but there’s an obvious attempt to deflect any complicity away from the gay/transgender partner. However long that he planned it, he had absolutely 0 chance of getting away with it. He probably didn’t want to. He becomes famous and a hero to some………….Unfortunately.
He’s going to get the death penalty, spend the next 20-25 years in prison and die circa 2050.
Hopefully, they torture him by making him listen to Charlie Kirk speak for 16 hours a day. RIP Charlie

There is a big difference between book smarts and common sense.

I get this but let’s not change the conversation. The point to how smart Robinson is was to give relevance to the idea he had a plan to get away with the murder afterward.

Meanwhile, and I hate to repeat myself, I watched a video of him peg legging from a half mile away which the video showed a few others took the same route before and after Robinson walked by.

So I personally believe he is absolutely dumb enough to have that convo thinking his trans lover would be so proud of him.

What I wonder is once the case is over will the dad be allowed to have the rifle back since his son clearly stole it. That may be a stupid question.

I am being 100% serious here because I am fascinated by your thought process -- what do you think the dad would do with it if it was returned to him?

It's pretty much from the Walter White playbook of calling with the "Skylar you know nothing about me and never supported me" so the cops leave her alone.

Well I assume it would draw a pretty nice payday from some lunatic if I’m being honest if they wanted to go that route.

However, and this is sadistic, it was passed down from the grandpa and a family heirloom that now has a whole insane story to it.

It isn’t like the dad can’t go buy a rifle and own it, so just because it’s evidence today if and when the kid is convicted the evidence shouldn’t matter one day and could be returned to its rightful owner.

Which I feel like I’ve heard of murder weapons being sold before and that has to happen somehow.

They, somewhat jokingly, taught us in my concealed carry class not to carry your nice/expensive gun because you will never see it again if you ever use it on another human being.

Hell, I had a friend in high school wrongfully accused of having kiddie porn on his personal computer and the SBI confiscated his 2k gaming rig, cleared him of charges and never returned the property.

He would probably just put it in the gun safe in the family room and keep the spot light on at all times. When visitors come over he can tell them "that is my gun over there that my special boy used to murder that guy in 2025 while on national tv". "It made him famous." Probably, maybe.

  1. How does one get wrongly accused for having kiddie porn? "Oh no, no, no... the girls in the pictures I have only look 13?"
  2. Why would the wrongly accused even mention it to someone else?
  3. What kind of sick weirdos do you hang out with?

I'm pretty sure I'm one of the best amateur chefs out there. I can do it all. Indian, Italian, Steaks, French, BBQ, bread... you name it. With one exception. Chi-effing-nese. No matter what recipes I follow. No matter what ingredients I use. It all comes out tasting like soy sauce-drenched soggy rice and unseasoned meat. What gives?
