Sumrall will be here soon enough. I have had former players tell me he will take it if offered. I was told by a D1 assistant that he was offered it during the A&M ordeal. That’s all I got though. Had one tell me Auburn is the only one that might scare him.

First, joyful day in the fall I have had in awhile. I’m sick of piglet and his BS. What a $50 million dollar heist this will be after the past three years and buyout.

Glenn Cyprien is either one of the most loyal dudes I’ve ever known or he is mighty desperate to stay in the coaching ranks.

Knowing Billy’s past troubles with the sauce, and having fought that demon myself, if it turns out he still can’t control himself and is let go yet again I sincerely hope he doesn’t do anything stupid to himself.

* The rumor mill is beyond crazy right now with UK Football. It's hard to determine what might be real because of the sheer volume of stuff starting to circulate. Should be noted that this is what happens EVERY TIME the wheels come off. Buckle up.

* Hard to believe basketball season is just around the corner. I can't imagine what it would be like if Cal was still here. Oof. Good vibes are coming soon.

* "New" Waylon Jennings is really solid. Vintage sound. I dig it.

* Marcus King playing with Eric Church down at Rupp. Not going to this one, but those who do are in for a treat. Kid can really play.

* Friday 5:

The Cowboy - Waylon
Too Much Whiskey - Marcus King
I'd Have To Be Crazy - Willie
Sea Stories - Sturgill
Truck Stop In LaGrange - Dale Watson

The savings grace for us re: Stoops is that you can't mail it in and go 6-6 in the SEC any longer. Perhaps Stoops doesn't want to look like a jackass for the next several years regardless of how much we owe him. And for this perhaps he'll leave much sooner. At least that's what I tell myself.

Wanna make money? Fade this and you should be able to pay your mortgage. My bets on todays game:
UK UNDER 14.5
UNDER 48.5
UK +21.5

Typically, the AD will meet the coach as he gets off the plane, returning from a road loss, with a bye week pending, and fire him.

But, this is UK, where the buyout is due in full, not spread over the years of the remaining contract.

This is UK where the head coach can negotiate that incredible deal but somehow manages to get bent over by his ex-wife for years to come in a divorce settlement. He could settle for less in his buyout but would his ex-wife?

As JD said, rumor mill is crazy. I saw a post on this item and thought the same thing. How can anyone know this?

Divorce decrees, tracking planes, video of a door, this is where we are at. I mean if Tatertots sources are correct…He might be as famous as Big Balls.

What he's saying doesn't make sense any way, so I'm siding with you unless he has insider knowledge. Stoops agreed for his ex to move with the kids. Knowing nothing more than how those negotiations work, I would be willing to bet she made significant financial concessions to do so.

I find the rumor mill going wild to be probable good news. Hopefully Stoops is at least somewhat motivated to protect his legacy here and they can pull off a mid-season announcement that he's going to retire/take a TV gig/whatever at the end of the year.

That would be best for the fans, though, so there is almost zero chance it will happen.

Take a tv gig - 😂.

No network is going to hire that redneck, fatass pink f*** to sit in front of a camera.

We don't just call him Piglet because he's pink. He's also an unappealing manpig.
Just throwing out possible ways for the parties to save face, buddy. I could see him getting a role doing color for the SEC Network, for instance, and being really good at it.

We know you don't like Stoops and think everything associated with him should be ridiculed. We got it.

The Lexus Loge doesn't have a group of "boosters" that have any more info than anyone of you. So, no, Tatertot doesn't have scoop.

I’m just tuning in today to see how bad we botch the end of the 1st half. Stoops has practically crafted it into an art form at this point.

I don’t understand why we continually throw the ball deep on 3rd and 5-6. Why not just throw an easy pass for 1st and move on.

While this is true, Jesse was right, if Cutter throws that when he's supposed to, it's a big gain for us. Kid just isn't seeing it yet.

Because the law of averages say that every time it fails, (and it has about 237 straight times now) we’re getting closer and closer to hitting one. 🙄
That’s Stoops and Hamdan’s idea of opening the offense up.

Jesse Palmer, obviously struggling to find something positive to say about UK, simply states that the defense plays hard. "Yeah, they ain't no good, but at least they try."

So does Georgia just have 10 Barry Sanders level guys or did our entire defense have their arms swapped with an alligator?

Not even Brad White is looking good today, so you know something is up.

This is going to be ugly. I got caught up listening to Roush and Co talking about how GA doesn’t cover in these games and how we’ve been competitive lately against them. I should have learned by now to trust my eyes and not my ears.
