Barring a total collapse like losing to a FCS (but very good) Tennessee Tech team and getting boat raced by Vandy and UofL, Stoops is a lock to be back next season.
I think the big selling point in positive momentum is that Kentucky has a QB to build around for the next 2-3 years and Stoops wagon is now officially hitched to Boley's star. Whatever the market is for Cutter, Stoops and the administration know it has to be met for Stoops to have any chance of success.

If Cats make bowl, Stoops gets extended Per contract? Does/does not affect buyout?
Game ambience I may only care about;
C-A-T-S cheer being missed by video operator half the time, the last few weeks, leads to lackluster cheers.
The band mic’s up allows the whole stadium to hear them, nice.
The blue-white cheer is stupid.
Grove Street went from a once a game hype song to being overplayed.

I don’t think the bowl game extension applies anymore, but I’m not 100%.
I have no inside info, but reading between the lines Stoops has to want out of this constant walking on egg shells feeling. If he can clip one of Vandy/UL and make a bowl then he’ll be considered for another job and should take something to give himself some peace of mind he will not get here.
That’s best case for everyone involved IMO and what we all should be cheering for because this team deserves the support for bouncing back after that first half of a season and beating Auburn/Florida.
Any coach should look at our roster and be somewhat interested in this job because the cupboard is far from bare.

The clause in Stoops’ contract that adds a year to it every time he makes a bowl was removed when he got the extension.
I’ll say this as far as Lane Kiffin is concerned that the NFL is apparently calling too. ALOT of rumors that if Daboll is fired in New York that Kiffin would be their #1 option to replace Daboll.

I saw that movie at the theater. It is the movie that made me pretty much loathe anything Nic Cage* is in as it has the worst line in cinematic history when he looks up and says “How in the name of Zeus’ butthole do you expect me to get out of here?”
*Raising Arizona, Leaving Las Vegas and Fast Times at Ridgemont High are obviously excluded from that line of thinking.
A movie can be simultaneously very good AND overrated.
